Pros: 1. Probably the nicest historic rehab I've ever stayed in, in style and craftsmanship. 2. Very clean and well appointed 3. Geographically quite convenient to many things 4. Safe neighborhood Cons: 1. It's not an actual hotel, no lobby, no staff 2. No place to unload your things which was particularly difficult as we were traveling with kids. 3. While the check in instructions were relatively clear, the location is not clearly marked or well lit. There's just a vinyl sticker on the door. 4. Once you find the door, you still aren't in the building. You have to find the second exterior door in the courtyard and then make your way up to the suite 5. Only paid parking unless you park on the street. Not a big deal at around $40 per night except you have to drive there and then walk a few blocks back to the "hotel" 6. Internet didn't work The negative part of our experience aside from the above minor inconveniences was that the air conditioning was not working in the loft, which is where the master suite is. I alerted them as soon as we arrived and it was never resolved before we left. The host in fact stated that they would send someone to look at it after we had left. They offered no discounts or other consolation.

Management missed three scheduled calls, would not provide the Philadelphia short-term rental license number, and refused any compensation at all. Nothing "Bespoke" about this company, all our communications routed to an overseas call center.

There are worse things in the world than sitting down with a nice glass of whiskey and getting fitted for a high end custom tuxedo. Nick definitely has a good sense of style. Not exactly a crisis :) but I wanted it fixed quickly, so I Googled "custom tailor" near Rittenhouse Square. I spoke with Brian (who I later learned is the owner of this bespoke/made-to-measure shop), and he was incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to get his team to make the alteration on short notice, and he even suggested a pocket square to pair with the jacket. He also took time to explain the unique work he does with clients, including their image consulting approach. The customer service was outstanding, and the experience really stood out. I fully intend to use them for made-to-measure clothing going forward, especially with the added value of their image consulting.
