I originally stopped in just to drop off a big clothing donation... but I ended up staying to shop! A few days each month their prices drop an extra 50% off, and I scored 7 items for just $24. Most pieces I grabbed were $4, and a few were only $1 even with original store tags still on them! This store feels nothing like a typical thrift shop. It's clean, beautifully organized, and has a real boutique vibe. The staff and volunteers are the best. They are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to help you find unique items. They even went into the back and tried to find me some off season items for a trip. There are spacious fitting rooms, size-inclusive racks (I saw sizes 2-24), and everything is clearly priced and sorted. There is no rummaging here. They specialize in women's clothing and accessories, but they also have smaller sections for men, kids, and shoes. Plus, there's a lovely gold/silver jewelry case and plenty of fun costume jewelry. I can't recommend this place enough--whether you want to donate, shop, or both. I've already told several friends and can't wait to come back with them (and bring more donations!). I wear a lot of waistcoats and in the cooler months a good tweed jacket and waistcoat with a scarf and hat and I'm good for temps into the 40's while looking fabulous. What really put me on a tear for this place though is the quality and price. Like I said I know a good tweed and got a waistcoat and jacket combination for $250. This is, I'm afraid to say this in case they pop up their prices, amazingly low and quality does not suffer. A few weeks ago I was looking at Brooks Brothers in KoP for a grey jacket and what I bought here was of infinitely better quality and literally several hundred dollars less in cost. Like $400+ cheaper! So why only 4 stars? Two points 1) quantity. Although their web site is well stocked this is a satellite of their main store and contains fewer selections and more souvenirs on site. They are very good are ordering and helping with size etc but sometimes you just want to walk in go. The other thing is reliability. the sign says they open at noon but the last 3 times I was in New Hope, it wasn't. This lack of reliability is something of a downer, great when you get in, but can you get in the door?

My sister in law's Niece was in town from Colorado and Nags Head, NC and made the trip to have her dress made by Dominique. She was happy. I haven't had a dress made, however, I am one of many that have yet to have any outfit, sale or otherwise, that wasn't cool and what I paid for. Good open price points too for all of us. She carries a number of different lines, including Lilla P which I love. It holds up so well year after year and the classic style is what goes on and on.. Her unique pieces are always well put together too and I think the best compliment a woman gets is "where did you get that? I want one." I'd give her 5 stars in a heart beat.

We camped recently in Bucks Co so I planned my route around thrift stores I could hit up on the…read moreway. Nova was one of them and I'm glad I stopped. While the store is mid-size (and sits alone, not in a strip mall) they made good use of the space, even carrying furniture (mostly antique) in the back. Immediately upon entry you're greeted by display cases (reminiscent of the kind they have at antique stores) featuring their "better" housewares and collectables. Jewelry can also be found at the front of the store. Everything was clean and shiny and displayed with an artisan touch. Whomever does their displays has some skills! Walking thru the stores you'll find all the other departments. Art and frames are in the back across from the furniture. While the departments weren't large they were ample. I was impressed by the quality and quantity of the art they featured. While most of the pricing was fair ladies clothing in the front room was priced high. Used jeans will set you back $12. However there's a whole other room, less decorated, to the side that is called their bargain room. I was able to grab a new with tags blouse from Kohl's - still with the $48 price tag attached - for only $2. It's in this room you'll find the following departments; kids clothes, seasonal/holiday, toys, plastic ware, books, and vintage. Some areas that were really lacking in selection during my visit were; kids toys, spring jackets, and ladies smaller size shoes. The employees, presumably volunteers, were all friendly. The purpose of this thrift store is to raise money for victims of crime and human trafficking - which is a cause I whole heartily support. New items were added to the sales floor the entire time I was there. There's a separate entrance in the back for donations ( I mistook for the entrance which is on the side), there's ample parking, and old fixtures for sale outside (racks, display cases, etc). Although I only bought that one lone blouse, I'm happy to have stopped and would recommend them to others.

They generally have very nice items at good prices, and I've donated to them several times over the years because I support the cause. However, after a recent experience, I won't be donating to them again. Donations close at 4 p.m., and I arrived at 3:45 pm. I was told they were already closed. I showed them the time on my phone and pointed out that it wasn't 4 p.m. yet, but the employees rolled their eyes, gave me attitude, and only reluctantly accepted the items. There are plenty of other thrift stores in the area that are happy to accept quality donations and don't treat people who are trying to give nice items like dirt. I'll continue shopping here because the store workers are wonderful, but when it comes to donating, I'll be taking my things elsewhere.
