Always an interesting selection and very helpful staff! Selection is a little more upscale than some of the other area thrift shops.

The store is great. I've been shopping here for years and, like any thrift store, it can be hit or miss, but I usually leave with something. They generally have very nice items at good prices, and I've donated to them several times over the years because I support the cause. However, after a recent experience, I won't be donating to them again. Donations close at 4 p.m., and I arrived at 3:45 pm. I was told they were already closed. I showed them the time on my phone and pointed out that it wasn't 4 p.m. yet, but the employees rolled their eyes, gave me attitude, and only reluctantly accepted the items. There are plenty of other thrift stores in the area that are happy to accept quality donations and don't treat people who are trying to give nice items like dirt. I'll continue shopping here because the store workers are wonderful, but when it comes to donating, I'll be taking my things elsewhere. read more

This is a well kept thrift store - no funky smell, clean inside. But with any thrift stores it depends on what is donated. The clothes were definitely in worse shape than the other items they took in. Some things were very reasonably priced and then other things were super overpriced. In each area of the store they had little "vintage" collections - they didn't seem to be priced any higher in particular so that was good if you're on the hunt for something old. They had TONS of books which were mostly well organized. Their pricing was a tad obscure but still cheaper than Goodwill whose prices raised drastically for books. I also liked they that they had certain color tags on sale but I didn't find any- they didn't seem to have much of those tags remaining. Some things didn't seem to have prices - all are hand written, and have some type of number system. The employees were friendly and there were a lot of them. We camped recently in Bucks Co so I planned my route around thrift stores I could hit up on the way. Nova was one of them and I'm glad I stopped. While the store is mid-size (and sits alone, not in a strip mall) they made good use of the space, even carrying furniture (mostly antique) in the back. Immediately upon entry you're greeted by display cases (reminiscent of the kind they have at antique stores) featuring their "better" housewares and collectables. Jewelry can also be found at the front of the store. Everything was clean and shiny and displayed with an artisan touch. Whomever does their displays has some skills! Walking thru the stores you'll find all the other departments. Art and frames are in the back across from the furniture. While the departments weren't large they were ample. I was impressed by the quality and quantity of the art they featured. While most of the pricing was fair ladies clothing in the front room was priced high. Used jeans will set you back $12. However there's a whole other room, less decorated, to the side that is called their bargain room. I was able to grab a new with tags blouse from Kohl's - still with the $48 price tag attached - for only $2. It's in this room you'll find the following departments; kids clothes, seasonal/holiday, toys, plastic ware, books, and vintage. Some areas that were really lacking in selection during my visit were; kids toys, spring jackets, and ladies smaller size shoes. The employees, presumably volunteers, were all friendly. The purpose of this thrift store is to raise money for victims of crime and human trafficking - which is a cause I whole heartily support. New items were added to the sales floor the entire time I was there. There's a separate entrance in the back for donations ( I mistook for the entrance which is on the side), there's ample parking, and old fixtures for sale outside (racks, display cases, etc). Although I only bought that one lone blouse, I'm happy to have stopped and would recommend them to others. read more

Thrifting finds were reasonably priced, and spaced out in a way that you didn't feel extremely overwhelmed sifting through things piece by piece to no end. I found a flapper dress that was TEN DOLLAR YALL. You couldn't even buy something new for that price on Amazon. I have no idea where I'm going to wear it, but I'm now the owner of this badass costume piece. I swear anywhere else, something of this quality would've been $24 at Goodwill. SO EXCITED. read more

My previous review of NOVA was from their old location. Now that they are in a new home, I feel it's time for a proper review. I've attached photos to my previous review for your reference so you can see what the place looks like (HUGE). And every day is different. The silent auction is amazing and worth the trip and you never know what amazing items you will see! Like a grandfather clock or a real vintage 1920' flapper girl dress! Or an original NASCAR racing jacket! Along with a variety of stem wear and household items you may have forgotten about. The new location of NOVA features an expanded bargain cove area (as if a thrift isn't bargain enough). The ladies who run the place, Maria is the current manager, are incredible! Honestly, I can't tell you how they pull it off...but I'm ever so grateful for each an every person who works and volunteers there. Stop in and find something wonderful! You know what, it all depends on the volunteers on staff that day. You can't really go in expecting close eyed attention and prime customer service, it's a big thrift store and about 4 people have to run it all. I've stopped by a couple of times over the past few weeks and I always walk out with some great finds. I think I've changed my mind about this place, and I do think it's completely worth the visit if you're looking for a great bargain. This thrift shop is the best of the best! It truly does have something for everyone. Designer clothes, children's apparel, all the kitchenware you could possibly imagine (beautiful, unique sets), a great selection of all sorts of neat decor, large/small interesting books on every subject, toys for kids of all ages, beautiful lamps, vintage items such as dolls, lovely decorations for every holiday....kitchen gadgets, tech odds and ends, baskets....there is even a $1.00 section. It is all for a very worthy cause, the staff is perfection when it comes to customer service, the specials are outrageous and the store is big, well presented, clean and welcoming. Some of the people working there are rude! The public is supporting your business in numerous ways, get rid of the crabby old people there. No greeting, Put your donation there", "this isn't sale-able" (to a $250 piece of artwork"). Who made you the one to determine that? You've got plenty of competitors, we'll go elsewhere! read more

My wife and I have been shopping at NOVA for years, both at their old location, and at their relatively new location. This new shop is great. The prices are fair, the staff is always friendly, and the selections are super. This is our favorite thrift shop. read more

This is one of my less-frequently visited thrift stores in my normal lineup. I sometimes go when I've been to the other stores recently but still want to hunt down some good deals. The prices are run-of-the-mill and the goods are nice, especially the clothing. There is a deeply discounted "back room" as well, and if you're willing to dig, there are some good treasures to be found. I give three stars for two separate reasons. The first reason is that they require a $10 minimum on credit card purchases. I often don't carry cash, but I also don't often thrift $10 worth of goods at a time, so I think a $5 minimum would be a little more realistic. The most important reason Nova loses stars with me is because they very ironically have signs posted all over the store about how they're always looking for fun and friendly volunteers, yet the people working here are consistently rude. They are unfriendly, rarely greeting you or even ackowledging your presence. I tend to greet cashiers warmly wherever I shop and at Nova, my warm greetings are always deflected by an icy cashier. Today in my visit, the cashier was short with me rudely tossed my items and receipt into my bag without even saying "have a nice day." While I will continue to shop at Nova to benefit the great cause they support, I'm very put off by the way I'm treated when I visit this store. read more

A very good thrift shop that also carries some consignment items, usually at the back of the main room, what I call "near antiques". As with any thrift shop, it's pot luck. I have scored a lovely grey cashmere pullover for under ten dollars, for example. Thursdays are discount days, with dice determining your discount. Makes one feel almost guilty. Almost. Correction : Wednesdays are the discount days, with Thursday being a fill the basket for $5 day. Very good. read more

I really like the space in the new store and it is organized well. I visit several thrift stores but do not come to NOVA often due to their prices. I feel they are higher than most thrift stores. Although they give to charity, so do the others I enjoy shopping at. The clothing is good but again almost double the price of Care & Share in Souderton. My friends and I used to stop at Nova on our way home from Care & Share every 3rd. Friday when Care & Share has 50 % off everything. We rarely bought anything at NOVA. I have tried it several times since then but will probably take it off my list because of the price are too high in my opinion. read more

I'ts a very busy place with a great assortment of items including clothing, books and household items mixed with some more expensive and antique pieces that are on consignment. I was disappointed that I had driven over with a huge load of mixed items including a new breadmaker, candlesticks, planting containers, andirons, and much more that were turned away without even a review because I admitted to them all being left from a garage sale I had that morning. These items were heads above anything in their "back room" and and quite sellable...I just ran out of time. Turned away, quite rudely, I guess for the audacity of bring my "leftovers" to them, I drove to a thrift store in Warrington whose profits go to animal care. They were thrilled with the goodies.
