A very friendly store and for a good cause. Prices were very fair. Great selection. I'll go back.

To thrift or not to thrift?…read more If you have the time, why the hell not. The girlfriend and I have taken up antiquing and thrifting as our newest hobby. If you watch the Antique Road Show you will see there have been many cases of someone finding an item for literally a couple of dollar bills and finding a real treasure on their hands with the item they bought for a few dollars coming in appraised at hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. This location is in a nice shopping center and the store is very large. The cons are some of the books are priced very high for a thrift store. Also, I found it odd that most of the music being played in the store was all Mexican music. Most of the announcements in the store were in Spanish as well. Hey, I lived on the Mexican border for about six months and don't mind it but still made me scratch my head a little. No scores on this trip but the hunt is part of the fun : ) As always people SYOY!!!

I feel like I went here yearsss ago and it was much different…read more I noticed now first thing - the positives : big and overall clean. Cons. It was insanely expensive. The books were priced like 3.99 and up. I picked up one book and it was $6.99 for a generic novel. Also Walmart brand new pants $13.99 Outrageous prices. They also did not have fitting rooms- they blocked them off. I remember before it being a little more eclectic and I actually kind of liked that more . The actual housewares section was small I didn't even bother looking. All the artwork they had was super faded. They have self checkouts ? So odd . Definitely won't be back.

I tracked down the manager who refused to price the item for me. A manager has the ability to price the item but whether they will or not is a different story. I still found some great cheap items. This store is heavy on clothes- that's not my thing- some items were extremely expensive- like worn shirts for toddlers for 2.99- for 1$ more I can buy brand new garanimals clothes from Walmart which is what I did. I had a box of Lincoln logs in my cart and a man shopping there told me he had a tub of them in his car he was going to donate. He offered them to me and I gladly accepted. Lincoln Logs are classic Toys! Double Aces and kind fortune for me! I love Liberty Thrift!

They pull all of the…read morehalfway decent items out, move them to a huge section, and price them like a high end antique dealer would. They should remove "thrift store" from their name and just say it's an antique store. Plus, when thrift stores do this, they think that they can just look up dealer asking prices on Ebay and that's the value. WRONG. Dealer asking prices are totally unrelated to finalized sale prices that buyers are actual willing to pay. The store workers are not trained and don't take condition, size, color, age, etc. into account. They just find what they think looks the same and then mark it similar to dealer asking prices. I can find the same items cheaper on Ebay. This trend that "thrift" stores are doing nowadays is so dumb. No wonder the store was virtually empty of customers!

I highly recommend shopping at Venus Vintage Thrift and Antiques. I hope to shop here again in the future. Sam generously hand delivered my 80 pound purchase to the local UPS store for UPS to pack and ship. It is a Drop/Wrap/Pack/Ship and Guarantee service that UPS offers. Weeks later, when the store was not forthcoming with the insurance claim after UPS shipped and delivered my item damaged, Sam took it upon herself to help me expedite my claim by getting involved even though UPS guarantees shipping and she was not at all responsible for shipping, she immediately contacted the store manager to expedite the status of the claim I always say the testament of a great company is not how they handle things when they go as planned, but how they handle a situation that goes awry. Bravo Venus Vintage Thrift and Antiques!!!

They are both very knowledgeable about the rare items that they carry, and the associates are extremely helpful in finding just that thing you didn't know you were looking for. All…read moreproceeds go directly to A Woman's Place, a domestic-violence support organization serving Bucks County. There is a nice free parking lot. I originally stopped in just to drop off a big clothing donation... but I ended up staying to shop! A few days each month their prices drop an extra 50% off, and I scored 7 items for just $24. Most pieces I grabbed were $4, and a few were only $1 even with original store tags still on them! This store feels nothing like a typical thrift shop. It's clean, beautifully organized, and has a real boutique vibe. The staff and volunteers are the best. They are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to help you find unique items. They even went into the back and tried to find me some off season items for a trip. There are spacious fitting rooms, size-inclusive racks (I saw sizes 2-24), and everything is clearly priced and sorted. There is no rummaging here. They specialize in women's clothing and accessories, but they also have smaller sections for men, kids, and shoes. Plus, there's a lovely gold/silver jewelry case and plenty of fun costume jewelry. I can't recommend this place enough--whether you want to donate, shop, or both. I've already told several friends and can't wait to come back with them (and bring more donations!). Thank you, In Full Swing, for such a unique and special experience.
