I used to slink in here often -- curiosity may kill the cat, but a good thrift find revives me. It's a big place with lots of stuff -- clothes, housewares, decor, books, artwork -- but lately, the prices here are so high you'd think they're selling heirlooms to aristocats. This place used to be a playground for savvy scavengers--now it's just a pricey kitty trap.Before you cough up a hairball's worth of cash, check online. You can often pounce on the same item brand new. As for the humans behind the counter? Let's just say they've got claws sharper than mine and none of the charm. If I have a question, I circle it three times before I dare meow -- I don't need that kind of hassle in my nine lives. read more

The store itself is nicely curated and the prices are mostly reasonable. Items are always clean and good quality. The staff, however, leave a lot to be desired. There are two or three women employees in particular who have serious attitude problems. They are consistently snippy, especially when you ask to view items in the jewelry cases. They act like they can't be bothered, then they hurry you along. I practically had the jewelry tossed at me. It's always this location too, because the other Good Stuff Thrift stores typically have pleasant employees. I'm not sure if these women think they work at Bloomingdale's or something, but they need a swift reality check--this is a THRIFT STORE that raises money for charity. They need to fix their attitudes, or find new jobs that better suit their goals in life, because compassionate customer service is not one of them... read more

"So, listen". FDC says when she hears of my plans to go to Peddler's Village. "You should definitely stop at this place while you're up there. Definitely." FDC is a thrift maven like me, so when she gives a tip like that, it's worth following. Stopped in after Peddlers Village one Saturday. Parked in the rear where there was an entrance and a nicely done accessible ramp, which is cool. Plenty of free parking. The place is organized with care, with nice touches like the clothing being grouped by size and by color. Visually that's really pleasant. Dining room items grouped together, etc. It makes the entire shopping trip less...chaotic...even though they have a very healthy inventory, it's jammed with stuff but doesn't feel jammed. I picked up some lovely clearance items and a couple of awesome tops. Prices are decent and reflect the quality generally of the item. Staff was super nice, wrapped my items carefully and packed them well. If you're in the area, go. Definitely. FDC and I give it two thumbs up. read more

I was dropping donations off at Good Stuff until I looked into the charities they donate to, including a couple Christian charities that I don't agree with, like one that guides women and girls towards continuing unwanted pregnancies instead of offering abortion care. It's a shame, because the store also donates to Lenape Valley Foundation which I support. I stopped going after that and now only donate to Nova Thrift Shop. Just FYI for anyone else who shares these views. read more

I just overheard a conversation that went like this: "I'm a ring hoarder so I have to slow down on my ring buying so I'm not going to get this. Thank you anyway," said the lady customer and she left. Before she even got all the way out the door the hefty old man with the long gray hair who worked there goes, "A hoarder? More like a wh*re." The woman who worked there meagerly said something about the customer looking too sweet to be like that. He then went on to say that all women just ask about prices first and then look at the products second. I'm appalled. This is how you talk about customers? It was my first and my last time there. How awful for a place I thought was going to be my go to thrift store. Such a good cause, charmingly set up, but that conversation disqualified them as a place to give my money to. I have been shopping here for several years. I have found a coffee table and end tables, lamps, a king size duvet cover, dishes and crystal glassware, toys, holiday decorations, and many, many clothing items--even a mink jacket. Most items are amazing bargains. If I think an item is over-priced, or not up to the quality I expect, I just pass it by, same as in any other store. Thrift shopping is win, win, win. Shopping without guilt! I get bargains; items avoid the landfill, and a children's cause gets funding. I'm planning to stop in again this afternoon! Marie Kent read more

I absolute love this Buckingham thrift store. Walking into the store is an experience in itself. Eva the store decorator does a fantastic job of making these beautiful and unique pieces come alive. The way she displays the merchandise is a true talent and everyone who walks in is whispering how incredible the store looks. I come into the store with a friend of mine at least twice a week and the store always looks completely different and filled with beautiful unique things. A must see When in the area. Their mission is wonderful. Higher cost than typical thrift but a good cause. Lovely items. I have shopped here for years; purchased many items here and at other locations. I was disappointed recently when I brought a purchase up to the register and was informed it was marked too low. There were two of the same item both marked for the same cost so I was confused. They were very polite about it - but I could not help feeling uncomfortable when they simply raised the price on the spot. I did not buy the item. I've never had this experience of having a clearly marked item raised in price as I was checking out. I like this store and I want to see its continued success. Please don't do this to your customers, Good Stuff. Even if we smile through the experience this is not cool and will end up losing you customers and good word of mouth. read more

Used to really like this place but my last visit left me wondering if I will return to this location. The prices have gotten ridiculous. When it was a true thrift store it was much better. The jewelry is crazy overpriced. The woman claims she is a gemologist yet she is selling man made stones as real stones and gold filled jewelry as of it is pure gold. A vintage unmarked gold filled brooch was 38 dollars! Normally would be less than 10 dollars retail. She said something was vintage Spanish and it was hallmarked Avon. They sell the chains separate from the pendants. Just couldn't believe how out of control someone who is clueless about jewelry has ruined the store. Beware if you are buying any jewelry. Know your stuff. Greene street in Princeton sells much better jewelry for a fraction of the price. read more

My wife and I have been shopping at both the Buckingham and Doylestown stores for several years. Both stores are always well organized and we consistently find very nice items for our home and to give as gifts. I found a piece of artwork that was obviously hand made by an unknown artist that we gave as a gift and my sister loved the gift. The stores have really nice things that are not junk and the money they they raise is to benefit children in need. So for us it is a wonderful place. We enjoy shopping there, the people who work there are all volunteers and very helpful and nice and we are helping children. That is a winning combination for us. We called to give 8 quality dining room chairs. The chairs are almost peach and have an antiqued look but overall were in great shape. I took time out my day to set them outside for the guys and when they came they said they were not going to take them. These are not in bad shape at all. They maynot be everyone's taste but they are in good shape. I will not be using them again. read more

This is a very nice store and great for a thrift store, one of the best in the area, but with almost full retail prices and I am not sure all things were donated. Looks like just another gift shoe to me with gift store prices, The place along with the new expansion is huge and can wanders for a long time, I just wish the entrance and parking were less complicated or confusing.I must add of the 3 stores is the nicest,the one in Fairless hills looks like it's outlet store. read more
