The store is a good place to find gifts for the holidays. I saw lots of Halloween decor and toys and bikes for children. They carry a lot of random things like bed linen, kitchen appliances, tvs, home decor, toys etc. You really need to take your time and shop for the bargains because it depends on how long something has been on the shelf to get good markdowns. The tags on each item will reflect when it was put on the shelf. My daughter got a floor lamp and an airfryer. The Cuisinart airfryer was only $99. I paid $199.00 about 2 years ago for the same airfryer. These items are leftovers, overstock, and discounted items. There are no returns or refunds, so make sure you want whatever you purchase. One nice thing, if you're buying any electronics, they will take it out of the box and test it for you, making sure you're satisfied before you buy it. They get a lot of their items from Target and Best Buys and big box stores like that. I think it was worth the trip and plan on going again soon!

Imagine a Dollar Tree and a Walmart hybrid, and you've pretty much got a Big Lots. Unfortunately…read morethough, the items that the Dollar Tree would carry are much less expensive at Dollar Tree, and the items you'd find at Walmart are cheaper at Walmart. So, sure the stuff's all under one roof, but that's about it. I went looking for a cheap recliner, and found a few, but after asking an associate about delivery, I was told that their delivery is basically them giving you a phone number. The cost (she thinks) is about $100, and you work out all of the arrangements with the delivery people. This, to me, is like being shown a pile of lumber, and being told it'll be a really nice house, once you get it all on site and put it together. No thanks. To summarize: In my opinion, there's absolutely no good reason to visit Big Lots, as other stores provide more for less.

But most relevant the store hours were incorrectly listed at that time both on the door and through Apple maps. I usually don't leave any yelp reviews, but that's how disappointed I was. I'm just saying you should have correct hours listed as I drove out of my way to come to your store. There's no need for the argument a simple "sorry that was your experience we've fixed our hours hope this helps" or something. So that worked out for me as my first time. My experience in the shop is always pleasant. Alba asks when you walk in if "you're looking for something particular?" Or "have you been here before?" Which I think is super kind and welcoming. She knows what she has in the store so you can just say "hey do you have any body suits?" She will let you know yes or no and if she does she'll tell ya where to look so you don't have to waste your time if you're literally in there looking for a specific item. Also, pricing is dirt cheap makes me feel like I am thefting from the place when I check out! To be honest, it looks like a knock-off version of Home Goods. They carry very similar items. If you see something you like, you better get it than because their stock changes all the time. They carry nice lamps, chairs, pictures, things for the kitchen, flowers etc. The prices are pretty reasonable, too. If you are looking to shop on a budget, Home Sense is a great place to shop.
