I was disappointed to learn that Girl Scouts were left outside in 15 degree weather at Weis supermarkets whereas both Giant and Walmart let them set up inside in the vestibule. A customer asked if the girls could come inside and a manager said he was unable to facilitate that. He decided not to shop there and others have since said the same and have posted about it on social media. A little kindness would be a much better look for your store. read more

I live a mile away from Weis. I will drive 5 mi to Perkasie Giant. One reason being that since they have opened if there is a way to make it as inconvenient as possible for its customers they do. There is a problem with the register every single time I go in there. Customer service does not exist. Currently if you go to and get beer they won't even allow you to check out one item along with your beer. They have a pizza oven that actually makes pretty good pizza, but since the beginning the hours have sort of been vague. Even the people that work there seem to be confused about when you can get pizza. And to top all of that off they are definitely more expensive than Giant with their food quality being inferior. read more

Lowering my rating from two stars to one. There's been no improvement in the quality of the produce. But, adding injury to insult. They are now lowering the display prices while over at check out they remain high. Example 1: Apples priced at the display $1.99/lb price at checkout $2.49. Example 2: Bunched Red Beets priced at the display $2.99/bunch, price charged at checkout $3.49/bunch. Be sure to check your receipt. read more

This review is for Weis Pharmacy. Alex & Steve are the two pharmacist who normally work at the Weis pharmacy in Perkasie. They are my superheroes! As a person living with chronic illnesses, I speak from experience when I say that I understand & appreciate the difference between a good pharmacist and a great pharmacist. I've used major chain pharmacies (you know the one) for many, many years until one time, they mis-counted a narcotic Rx (missing pills) and refused to correct the problem. So, I decided to change pharmacies to something closer to home that also awards us points for our purchases. So now, not only do I have two AMAZING, brilliant pharmacists checking my medications as they are filled and keeping track of contraindications, but also, I have "friends" who look out for each other. And I'm earning points on each prescription filled! With customer service as wonderful as this, why go anywhere else? read more

Freshness is not guaranteed. I have had multiple issues with organic produce going bad immediately after purchase or opening a sealed pack of organic produce only to find it spoiled. We were really disappointed when our special anniversary dinner was ruined by a pair of spoiled filet mignons. We don't treat ourselves often, but since it was a special occasion, we wanted something extra nice and spent over $40 for a pair of steaks. From the moment we opened the plastic wrapper we could tell they were bad, the smell was awful. We tried to cook them thinking maybe it was just strong smelling beef, but no...it also tasted sour. Couldn't eat them and risk getting sick, so we threw them out. Needless to say, our anniversary dinner turned into asparagus and salad. All Weis Markets that I have been to in PA, serve fresh pizza in the Deli section. The Dublin Weis had Pizza when they opened up which was reasonably priced and pretty tasty. Lately every time we try and get pizza from their Deli section 1. They state they're out of pizza dough or 2. The "person" who makes the pizza isn't there.... Both reasons sound like excuses to me. I have a feeling they just don't want to be bothered to make the pizza here and the manager doesn't seem to care. A lot of money being lost with what I'm assuming to be lazy employees. read more

This Weis Markets is located in Perkasie PA (although I always refer to it as "Dublin" because it is right down the street from Dublin). It is a newer store that opened in the past year or so and the first time I was in this Weis was when I was getting back from New Hope on 9/12/20. I have to say...after one visit this is hands down my new favorite supermarket to shop at. We live 25 minutes away but it is totally worth the trip!! There is plenty of parking, the corrals are neat and there is a gas station on the outside of the store. On the inside the store is just as impressive! The lobby is smaller but very neat. The store itself is large, clean and well stocked. The employees are very friendly and willing to help. They have all the major departments including a beer and wine section! The best part about this Weis is that it has many products some of which are very hard to find!! (I've been searching for the legendary Dunkaroo's all summer and they had them in stock!!). They also had the Cheesecake Factory's famous brown bread which I found once at Giant and haven't seen since! Not only that, they had the rolls and croissants too! There was so much to look at, my parents and I came back the very next weekend to go food shopping and see what more they had. They also have an amazing bakery and frozen section in particular. Lots of great products! I have to say everything from parking your car through checkout and loading up your car and leaving is enjoyable. This store has maybe 2 friendly cashiers. The one guy is there a lot. If you shop here, you'll know who I mean. He always says hello and makes conversation. He is also always trying to be helpful and one of the friendliest staff members. The bakery staff always greet me with a friendliness that is amazing considering the rest of the store staff is rude. I hate when I have to go to customer service. I despise the hot foods area as well. They are slow and ignore you if they are doing something. Not even a "I'll be right with you." If you are asking why do I bother to go here, the answer is simple. I come in for bakery clearance and that is about it. If I did not have a sweet tooth, I'd never go in here. read more

4.5 stars. This Weis just opened across the street from the Wawa, which is currently pile of dirt. I couldn't be happier that they opened a new grocery store near Dublin and the prices are WAY better than the poor old IGA. One thing I'd like them to change is that in both of the long isles of apples there are 0 organic selections, but I just bought collard greens, at 9:30 at night no less, that are surprisingly fresh! Also I like the music they play and the kids working the check outs are very sweet. FYI: to get out of this parking lot you have to go to the opposite site of the lot from 313, and turn left onto 113. And have their own gas station and pharmacy. read more

This store just opened earlier this month. I went in to see check it out and was impressed. It's more spacious than both the Doylestown and Huntingdon Valley stores and the lighting is also better. I only picked up a few items and did not do my full grocery store run but was happy with finding the items I did purchase as well as confirm that they also carried their store brand white birch beer. read more

Weiss might not have the number of choices the the other 2 stores near by but the go far beyond in customer service! i Out in an order for delivery and never received it d/t a computer glitch. When I called the gentleman who assisted me was just GREAT. He even delivered it HIMSELF AND within 20 minutes after we hung up!!!! I also forgot a couple of items on my next order so called and asked if I could add them - again, "sure, no problem!" And when asked the pharmacy if they could add my prescriptions - same, "no problem"! And in re: to not having a bizzillion choices for 1 item - I prefer it. I don't have a lot of spare time so having to spend so much time searching miles of isles and then having to walk another 1/4 mile back find the one item I forgot...I find that very frustrating so I truly appreciate being able to complete shopping in a reasonable amount of time...oh - I also think their fruit and veggies are superior to the others! Was looking forward to another option locally.. aisles are wide and nice produce. Since the Covid pandemic, I have gone in 2 times. The store manager was literally 2 feet away from a customer, while talking to her. He was saying, that he was not going to change his personal habits and wear a mask and/ or gloves for a media lie. And, I witnessed this behavior and heard the same conversation both times. For the safety of his employees and customers, this is unacceptable behavior.. and an irresponsible attitude. You feel that way.. keep it to yourself.. this is his job. His employees and customers should come first. read more

I sure hope that Corporate didn't just open this location to put IGA out of business. One's mind starts to wonder while you're staring at rotten meat because they didn't charge a fair price for it. Also, I guess the new thing is to charge the exact same amount for chicken breasts bone in or no bone now. Isn't that something? It's never enough. They make rotisserie chicken when they feel like it. They also close early when they feel like it or they did in the past. I need "Yesterday's news", kitten milk and kitten shampoo and sure enough...they don't have it. IGA always carried this stuff. Thank God for Agway who saved my little kitten's life after he was almost killed by a garbage truck. At least the employees are nice. Other than that...I got a funny feeling this store won't be around much longer. They served their purpose... putting the little man under. while i was excited for this store , i'm disappointed in several things, having to buy 3 or 6 items of same product to get sale price is ridiculous really ... every time i go there are only 2 checkers who are NOT efficient at all , extremely slow and seem they don't know what their doing at all ..poor training ... while some of the workers are chatting at service desk oblivious to the amount of ppl waiting to check out with only 2 very slow employees at register ... also when you self check out you can't use coupons without waiting for assistance..seems very odd to always have to have a employee to come over when it's supposed to be quicker ... and i also am an avid seafood buyer and their seafood is pretty good ,another instance the employee saw ppl standing at counter and we had to ask for help and she seemed bothered ... management needs to be more with it , just not enjoyable to shop there , more aggravating read more
