After shopping here for several years (just for some particular items), there are a few things they…read moreneed to do better. More on that below. What's great about the store is the quality and flavor of the food they sell. Even though I've tried a few things I didn't like, I feel comfortable saying that it was probably prepared just as it should be, but it's just not something I like. Taste is subjective, and when you're trying some international product that you've not had before, not every one will be up your alley. Overall though, they've got some very interesting and delicious things. Currently, the Cajun Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo (prepared refrigerated meal) is one of my regulars, as is their Chicken Picatta. The associates working in the store are all super helpful, friendly, and they know the products they're selling. Heck, you could stop there just to see an example of good service. You won't find associates hiding from you or standing there with a blank stare. These folks do a convincing job of making you believe it's the best possible place to work. Pretty amazing. So, what are the brand's weaknesses (not unique to any specific Trader Joe's)? Baked goods. Anything baked typically has an expiration date of about 4 days from the current calendar date. I understand they use no, or only natural preservatives, but if you're single or a couple, be prepared to have the product become stale to some extent, before you finish it. Ironically though, it's not like the things are all fresh baked. In fact, when I inquired about the date on a small baguette, the associate was happy to go get me a frozen one from the back. I suspect a lot of the baked goods come in frozen, but of course I don't know for sure. Then, we have the packaging of some items (like the prepared meals or things like their frozen griddle cakes). Apparently, Trader Joe's hasn't heard of "peel to open" because quite a few products put up quite a fight to get them open. It's actually a serious pain in the neck. The griddle cakes not only can't be easily opened, but you can't even get them apart to make say two of them. I'm guessing they go from baking to absolute zero degrees in a flash, and all of the griddle cakes are stuck together. The store is missing best by or expiration dates on lots of things. Or, you need a flashlight and a magnifying glass to find them. It's just not right. The pricing. They use an awesome talented person to make up cute little cards with the item prices, but being such an unusual way to display prices, sometimes you have no idea how much something is, or because Trader Joe's attracts a lot of people who seem to feel they're better off than most people, it's cool (to them) to appear not to care about the cost. And, you can bet Trader Joe's knows that. So yes - there's room for improvement, but it you shop carefully, look for best by or expiration dates, and understand that you might need power tools to open some things, you can get some really awesome stuff there.

Today we came for lunch. A custom chicken cutlet and today's special the Saquon sizzle We couldn't complain a bit about either. The cashiers are so friendly and the ordering process is easy (once you get the hang of it) kiosks where you order and pay all in one. If you are getting a drink and chips, you have to pay separately at the cash register which is slightly inconvenient. Indoor and outdoor seating first come first serve but it does tend to turn over quickly. It can get crowded and the shopping area does get congested. There was a wait for the kiosk when we went today but the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. A lot to see and plenty to try. We will be back to sample more of the menu for sure.

It is now our go to grocery store not does it have a nice small town feel but it's nice supporting a small business. The store has everything you could ever need and never was out of any products through the whole pandemic including toilet paper! The prices are reasonable and stuff very friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing you have to be careful of is the fresh produce sometimes can be at the end of its life so always check it before you grab and bag. The deli has an amazing selection and they are always willing to bring in a product if they do not carry it.

We popped in and expected a Swann's type of experience... boy were we wrong!! This place is awesome! Not your typical grocery outlet with brands you've never heard of or dates that are passed. Fresh produce, fresh meats, dairy products, even gorgeous orchids in a small section of plants!! We love point cut brisket and picked up a very large brisket for just over $10 (this size we purchase usually at Giant would be $18 or more). Picked up a flavored pork loin roast that is such a delicious and easy dinner (grill or slice and pan saute), I think its great when I get them at Walmart for around $8, this one, $5.23. And no, not outdate, not expiring today!! They have a great selection of fresh produce including some items not seen everywhere - found yucca (we have parrots, so awesome for them) and new tuber / corms type item I've never seen called name that my birds will be trying as well. And for specialty items, I am forced to eat gluten and dairy free due to medical. They had snack bags of fruit and nuts we pick up at places like Wawa when traveling and we pay $5 a bag - only $1.99 :) Glutino pancake mix for $1.49... GF elbow pasta 12 oz pack for only 99 cents! Boxed cashew milk for 99 cents too!! And for anyone reading that is GF and has been searching for Pillsbury GF pastry dough in tubs that they no longer seem to be making - get in the car and drive there now! They have them right now for only 87 cents a tub!!! I purchased 6 and threw them in the freezer. I could go on and on, but there are name brands, not unknowns... Prego's spaghetti sauce, Progresso soups, Dream boxed milks, brand name chips, Hostess snacks... Almost forgot - large eggs for 99 CENTS a dozen... Kreider farms. Purchased today 5/1 with date of 6/5. So not going bad either!! And the staff is very friendly. We were stopped by the owner, Scott (hope I remember that correctly). Introduced himself, asked how we were doing, if our first visit, etc. Telling him we lived in Center Valley and not seeing the billboards he has south of us and we are out of the mailing area, he handed us a flyer for $10 coupon off our order, said to always ask, there are usually always discount coupons! Really nice guy, must have spent 10 minutes just chatting with us, asking our thoughts, impressions, suggestions, any problems. Explaining the chain is from California. In addition to what I mentioned above, we also purchased 2 lbs of frozen tilapia and 2 lbs of Swai and two packages of 1 lb frozen shrimp. And other stuff like canned Izze for only 79 cents a can :) With all purchased and just the $10 coupon, we only spent $99.73... oh and I picked up one of those beautiful large orchids for my daughter who grows them - $7.99!!! Placing the order was very easy. I especially liked that Wegmans provided replacement suggestions in advance and allowed me to approve them or select "Do not replace." Some other ordering sites make you search for your own replacement, so I appreciated the convenience. I received a text letting me know that my order was ready well ahead of schedule. When I arrived, I noticed that Wegmans does not ask you to enter a parking-stall number. You simply check in and let them know that you are there. I'm still not sure how they knew which car was mine, but I waited less than five minutes before my order was brought out. It was quick and easy. All of my original things that I ordered was available so that was great. I had got a little small pasta salad. 6 ounces was like six dollars. I feel like that was too expensive and the pasta Italian pasta salad was OK. I ordered the Ezekiel Brown hamburger buns and the Ezekiel tortillas is flowerless. They seem to be the healthy bread without all the chemicals and things in it. It came frozen so how you know it's a good bread I got some Wegmans medium salsa. I got some meatless spicy patties Jamaican patties. Can't wait to try those. My only suggestion would be to add more signs directing customers to the pickup area. Since you can enter the parking lot from different directions, I did not see a pickup sign until I was almost at the designated spaces. Overall, I had a very good first experience and will definitely use Wegmans pickup again.

I actually really liked the sauce ,it was better than many pizza places. The sauce was sweet and tasty and by far the best part of the pizza. The cheese was just alright, not great but good enough. I would get the pizza again , it's a good deal for $13.00. I was a frequent eater here before Covid but not so much anymore. I like the grab and go sushi and was a fan of their made to order subs, I'll have to revisit the subs again as Danny Special was my favorite. Wegmans bakery is top notch and we have been ordering their cannoli cake for special events , amazing and highly recommended.
