Ewww.. this place is dingy needs a cleaning. The lights are always off and the guy behind the counter always looks like he's been swimming in the toilet. The food is tolerable, but the portions are so small and the prices are extremely ridiculous. The food is not fresh except for the vegetables that they cut to the point where they're giving the most minimal vegetables as possible. I do not recommend this place to be honest. I've been here a couple times for gyros and they're delicious. You can customize the toppings however you want it. I guess like BK, doing it your way is what makes them king. The lamb is awesome. All the toppings are finely cut and fresh to ensure your gyro has great flavor. They put it together nicely and use a waxed paper to help keep it together, so you can eat it without making a mess. I stopped eating mammals, so I got a chicken gyro today. It was awesome. If I would've gotten to take a picture before she wrapped it up to go, it would have looked more appetizing to whoever looks at my picture, but it tasted the same. The chicken was breaded and seasoned so it was almost as good as the lamb. I asked for them not to give me any plastic and they accommodated me. They have a diverse menu and very reasonable prices. I've ordered food for delivery from here a few times for lunch now and I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for some tasty platters. For one, food delivery is quick, food arrives hot, and their prices are great. Both the chicken and lamb platters are delicious and portions are huge. I would ask for white sauce on the side though because they cover it in sauce otherwise. Skip the pizza roll here but apple pies are good (they're the boxed McDonald type). I had to try this place after hearing about how great it was from family and friends. My family and I have already returned multiple times since our initial meal. Delicious lamb platters and gyro wraps with big big portions! You'll definitely get your money's worth of food. This place blows Halal Guys and Juicy Platters out of the park in terms of taste and quantity. Parking is available on side streets and the staff is very welcoming. Brand new gyro place in Haledon ! I went here late at night around 1:30am, the people working were very nice. I ordered a lamb platter and my friend ordered a gyro. Both were very good. The staff was attentive and they showed they cared even late at night. The platter was nothing out of the world but tasty, the meat was well cooked and the vegetables were fresh. I think the best thing about this location is their hot sauce, it truly is hot and addicting, it definitely added a kick to my platter. Why not 5 stars? Since it's a new business, there's still things they need to work on like the menu layout and specials, as well as the appearance of the restaurant and food. My mom always gets food from here and I must say, it is the tastiest platter I have here---close to or almost beats 53rd and 6th. Platter guys chains suck, juicy platters is great when is great when it comes to taste, but this platter is the best quality, most quantity and price wise beats both of them. Order Date: July 2,2020 at 4pm I had Real bad experience About 40 minutes ago. I walked in, and there was another customer, who was quite rude, and started asking for discount on soda, and the staff was very lenient with them. Initially, I thought this was great customer service. The guy on the register was also nice , I ordered a chicken sandwich , and he got all the toppings right , and that's good stuff. This is where everything went downhill. I was the only customer at that moment , and the lady started putting toppings in my food. I noticed that the guy before me had toppings after They put the meat. As she was putting toppings she started taking more room , and soon I realized, how they disproportionately gave meat ratio to my platter. It gets worse: she says that they have very little lamb. And I'm asking how little, and she dosent answer. I told them I want to cancel that order , and go to a different gyro king, but then she says wait. So I wait, and two more customers walk in, and they order platters, and they want lamb/mix etc. so then I see the guy rushing to make more lamb and what not . In summary, the proportion was so off and the wait time was stupendous (35 min+ for one platter and chicken burger ) ; usually, when I go to the Paterson gyro king, they jam pack my platter short duration. read more

Every time I come to this place they always mess up the order even though I say it straightforward. I know that there are 1/3 employees that take their job seriously but other than that one guy who I pray I get my order from the other two are always rude or snarky and honestly makes the whole experience unpleasant.
