This has been our go to place since we discovered it. On this freezing cold night what could warm you better than a smile a hug from Maria and a big bowl of Lemon chicken orzo soup? NOTHING. I'm a soup guy and this is one of the best soups I have ever had. Absolutely delicious. Sandra had cheese steak egg rolls as an appetizer, I sampled 1 and will say it was cooked perfectly with a good crunch and it was delicious. For dinner Sandra had the cheeseburger that was cooked spot on and was flavorful and juicy. I had the pistachio chicken with rice. I'm not sure what the sauce is actually called but it was amazing. It's a buttery cream mushroom sauce with amazing flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly and with this sauce just put it over the top. Spectacular dish. When you go definitely have a piece of Ed's homemade cheese cake. You will not regret it. Delicious. What's better than a great meal with friendly service, NOTHING. Get here and enjoy.

The food was outstanding fresh and full of flavor. The service was great very friendly and attentive. The paintings of the coast line of Greece flanked by blue shutters made for beautiful ambiance. Definitely will be back to try more dishes.

(Reservations are not that easy to make last minute.) The restaurant is big and open but always busy. Kids get wax craft sticks to play with and bend into cool shapes, which I find very unique and cool. I feel like there is a difference between a diner and a true brunch place. A diner, of which there are numerous in New Jersey, is a establishment that churns out inexpensive, and potentially excellent, but very standard breakfast food - omelettes, pancakes, benedicts and the like. A true brunch place, on the other hand, offers things like lemon ricotta pancakes, cacio e pepe scrambles, mushroom thyme omelettes and shakshuka. Willow & Whisk is that kind of brunch place, and which is rare in New Jersey. The food options are varied, very tasty, and with good portion sizes. I love the shakshuka and the mushroom thyme omelette. Oh gosh, when is our next reservation again?

With warmer days expected now that spring is in full swing, Kitchen and Beer Bar has outdoor seating as an option for its guests. Inside dining is on the smaller side, so it's in your best interest to beat the crowds on busy nights. I have eaten here a handful of times over the last two years or so and have nothing but positive things to say. The food is always hot and fresh (even with takeout). The whole staff is very nice and helpful upon your arrival. And for any sports fans out there, there are plenty of TVs playing sports games around the room, giving you another reliable option if you were looking to lounge at a bar for a while and watch some games. I definitely recommend this restaurant/bar to anyone looking for a good American dish with sports bar vibes inside.

I genuinely cannot visit without ordering the buffalo garlic parm bone-in wings. It's a commitment at this point. The flavor combination sounds like it shouldn't work, but trust me -- it absolutely does. Crispy, saucy, and completely addictive. They're the reason I keep coming back. Beyond the wings, the specials are always worth checking out. They rotate regularly and never feel like an afterthought -- each one is something different and genuinely tasty, which keeps every visit feeling fresh. The outdoor seating area is a nice bonus too, with a decent amount of space to spread out and enjoy your meal al fresco. If you can catch them on a good service day, this place really hits. Either way, the food alone is worth the trip.

I ended up getting The Rosalita ($17.95), a grilled chicken panini which consists of mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato and a side of fries. It was also sparkling clean, which I appreciate. The place was busy on a Sunday (late) morning, but we were seated immediately at a high-top table across from the bar. We both ordered hot coffee, which was incredibly strong. For food, I chose the Chicken Parm Sandwich and my partner got the French Combo. Portion sizes were massive! My Chicken Parm Sandwich was tasty and super filling. The French Combo came as two separate plates - one with the eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes, and also a heaping plate of French Toast. I tried a piece of the French Toast, and it was delicious - nice fluffy texture, topped with whipped cream and strawberries. Service was quick and friendly. Overall, a great NJ diner experience!

Everything on the menu is vegan, but my family truly could not taste any difference when we visited. We ordered the Oreo protein pancakes, blueberry pancakes, penne with vodka sauce, and a breakfast burrito. Since I turned vegan, I've been craving pancakes so the food really hit the spot. The pancakes were so fluffy and tasted incredible. The penne was also so flavorful and was maybe our favorite dish. The breakfast burrito was also filling and tasted great. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of food and would come here regularly if I lived in the area. Additionally, the prices were super reasonable and are definitely more affordable than the average restaurant in the area. Chelsea was our waitress and I want to give her a special shoutout because she was particularly helpful and friendly to us. She did an excellent job answering our questions and even was willing to share general tips on vegan cooking.
