We visited on Monday, with a party of three, for lunch and it was a very nice experience. We arrived and were seated immediately in a booth. The area where the restaurant is located is a bit sketchy, but the interior is nice. The have a pretty large menu with many options. Two of us went with Cheesy Tacos and one went with Fajitas. The tacos were excellent, with a side of burria consume. The fajitas portion was quite large with numerous side sauces. The service was great, the waiter was friendly and helpful. Overall, an excellent place for Mexican lunch.

Worst breakfast I have had in years. This place was right across from our hotel. A bartender from where we were drinking the night before told us not to eat here, and I should have listened. The interior inside is cute and they were playing great music. The watermelon agua fresa was also amazing. Thats where the goodness stops. 9 out of 10 times I order nachos at a Mexican restaurant after a night of partying. These nachos might as well have been from Taco Bell. I wish the menu stated it was nacho cheese instead of melted cheese. I loathe canned orange nacho cheese. With a place claiming to be authentic, I had no clue it was going to have canned cheese sauce. It was also swimming in guacamole. I only like guacamole in small doses, like a little scoop on top. These were almost inedible for me, I still can't get over the canned cheese. My husband told me to send it back. For $22, I didnt want to waste that money and then have to wait for a new meal. The asada itself tasted good. I should have ordered asada as a mulita or a torta instead. Also, I wanted shredded beef as my meat and was told I could only get asada as the beef. The chips were stale and tasted bagged. My husband had a chile relleno and a shrimp cocktail. He said they were good, but nothing to rave about. I picked the meat out of my nachos and ate that with a few chips. If you crave nachos with lots of melty actual grated cheese with homemade chips, this place aint it.

The Front Desk Staff at our hotel told us to eat here, and we were pleasantly surprised! The place is nice, and also clean. The Staff is extremely attentive, friendly, and sweet. We had Jason as our Server, and he was outstanding!!! Personable yet anticipated our every need. Everything one looks for in a great Server. Our food was delicious!!! This was our second time coming here during our stay in Palmdale. Bartenders Daniel and Emilio are also incredible! Emilio made me a drink in a special skull glass, which I totally loved!!! I appreciated that! We will be back again for breakfast next time... gotta try their bananas foster pancakes! ~Les apreciamos~

Definitely recommend! It was our first time here and had a great experience. Our waiter Daniel was the best! He made sure to check up on us all the time. The food was delicious as well. I didn't think we were going to like it but honestly it exceeded our expectations. Finally Palmdale has a decent restaurant with great service and food. Also the place was nice and clean. I would definitely come back again.

So the location is unfortunate but once you're inside you forget all about that. They did an incredible job at transforming an old diner and still paying homage to its roots in an elevated way. Super impressed! It was my first time here and we just went in with the intention of getting some drinks and sharing some nachos. Lucky us since we made it just moments before their happy hour ended. 2 beers for $5. What a deal! We ordered their nachos which was a great shareable portion and a solid 7.5/10. I know food costs have gone up but I will say $22 was a little rich. The deal on the beers more than made up for it though. Our bill was just under $30. Our server also told us they have happy hour M-F if I'm not mistaken and they serve breakfast all day. Btw, once we left here we went to Baracoa (a fancier dining environment) and were talking about how excellent the service was at the Mi Ranchito in comparison. Our server was kind and incredibly attentive at the Hacienda.

Tried this place twice. I'd say the food is pretty typical authentic American Mexican. The sauces are good for the red hot sauce that comes on the tacos. Food is fairly priced and we've had good service both times. The interior is freshly remodeled and clean. They also have good happy hour specials two for five beers and five dollar margaritas but the margaritas are very small.

We went during an off time so peak times I would expect a wait. We really blew our diets but it was worth it. We shared a small order of fries topped with chorizo, chipotle mayo, crumbled cheese, and raw jalapeno. It was soooo good and the small order was perfect for two without ruining your appetite. For my entree I had the Navajo taco which was a giant fry bread topped with red chile beef, beans, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and chipotle aioli. This was a true masterpiece of flavors. The fry bread was like a savory funnel cake flavor. Crunchy exterior and fluffy cloud like interior. The beef was melt in your mouth tender. My wife had hers with ground beef, potato, and green chile. They had a lot of different protein choices. Should have stopped at this point but they had a pumpkin pie filling stuffed sopapilla. It was made to order so it took awhile and came out steaming hot. It was served with two scoops of ice cream so it's perfect for sharing. It was pure heaven and we devoured it. Service was great but these ladies were doing everything. Taking orders, cleaning tables, packing up orders, putting final touches on foods, washing dishes. It was crazy yet they always kept a smile on their faces through the chaos. My wife and I cannot wait to try more items on the menu! Worth the drive!

It was okay, but definitely not Hatch chilies. Hatch chilies are now in season so they could have used them. The sopapillas were just like in Santa Fe so 3 stars were raised to 4. I guess a flight to New Mexico is in order if you want a real New Mexican meal. Not worth the long drive, but they tried.

We came by on a Friday night before a show at the Grammy Museum. We parked in a private lot a couple of blocks away on Georgia that charged $21.65. I made a reservation since we were coming on a Friday night. I was surprised that there were many open tables when we arrived. We were greeted right away and seated at one of Edwin's tables. He was absolutely great! Very friendly and personable, with a great sense of humor. We'd been interested in a couple of items on the happy hour menu. Unlike the Santa Monica location, the happy hour items are only available in the bar and patio, not the main restaurant. Edwin did check to see if we could order the flautas and we were able to, however it was a couple of dollars more expensive than if we'd been sitting in the other room. That would be my only disappointment with this locaion. We were served delicious, fresh chips with bean dip and salsa right away. The flautas were really good, and the drinks were great. Overall, the pre-show evening at Sol Agave was enjoyable. We will ask for Edwin again when we come back in the future.

With such limited choices, I honestly wonder how it'll hold up long term. Overall, 4/10 won't be back!

A friend recommended this spot since she works nearby and speaks highly about the queso. A reservation was made for the four of us. It wasn't busy when we arrived, but service was amazing. With only two people manning the floor, I honestly wasn't expecting the level of service I received, but both people were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I was comfortable. They even made sure I was set up with a spot to charge my laptop while I ate, which was such a thoughtful touch. My server, Felix, was fantastic. His recommendations for both food and drinks were spot-on, and everything I tried absolutely blew me away with how flavorful it was. I started with the mixed ceviche, and the taste and textures were on point. No fishiness whatsoever, just incredibly fresh, bright, flavorful seafood. I also ordered another mini steak appetizer that I could have eaten about five more servings of. The steaks were marinated in a tamarind sauce and cooked to perfection. Seriously, I wish I could have eaten more but I was on a tight timeline (which Felix paid extra attention to and made sure to get me out right on time)! For a drink, I tried their Sol Agave Old Fashioned made with tequila. I'll be honest, I don't even like old fashioneds, so when Felix suggested it I was hesitant.. BUT I LOVED IT. The tequila was so smooth, tasted perfectly balanced and fruity even, and watching them make the drink right in front of me made the whole experience feel extra special. Top-tier presentation and execution. And of course, I had to finish with the flan because it's one of my favorites. It did not disappoint~ absolutely excellent. Between the food, drinks, service, and overall experience, this was such a memorable meal. I genuinely can't believe this place isn't getting more traction during lunch. Everything was so thoughtfully done, and the people working there clearly care about what they're serving and the experience they're giving their guests. I'm def dragging everyone I know back here for seconds and thirds. Absolutely worth a visit!

Now I have a location around the corner so I came to check it out. Arrived on a Saturday around 230 p.m. so snagging a table was no issue. Opted for "outside" seating as the AC inside was too cold. This location is just as aesthetically pleasing as the Newport location (but no sunset views). Now for the food...I'm a creature of habit and always order my same items but this time I went for something new - the tablita. You can't go wrong with this option as it has all of your Mexican faves. We opted for the carne asada and the carnitas, which were cooked to perfection and flavorful. The tablita comes with refried beans, Mexican rice, queso freso, tortillas (flour or corn), salsa and pickled jalapeños. This is more than enough food for two people and you will definitely have leftovers. If you're craving a meat dish, I think this choice will satisfy your cravings. Service was great, the waiter kept checking in on us so no complaints there. Parking is very easy as there are parking structures in and around the area. You can also try to snag a meter on the street but parking in a structure is more convenient than driving around looking for parking. I'll definitely be returning when it is more convenient to come to this location than to make the long trek out to Newport. Note that the Newport location will not take ressies unless there are more than two in your party so you may want to see if this is Pasadena's policy as well if it's just two of your dining.
