SO CROWDED! Great for sales and quick clothes. They do have some good quality stuff and it is really well priced. But again like I said SO CROWDED! Unless you go mid afternoon mid week, super busy. The music is so loud I walked out of there with a headache, I like music but when you have to scream to someone to be heard it is a little over the top. The employees are never courteous and no matter what you ask they never have an answer or offer to help. I was there twice and both times was the same. Was there like a month ago store was messy, and hard to breathe in. Music was too loud for shopping. "Like how do you hear you customers"? Feel they should hire more experienced workers instead of there buddies heard a worker going on about how her friend "hooked her up" with the job. Which is fine. There is no diversity in the workers ethnicity's really. I'm Indian it kinda makes you feel neglected. No biggie. Wanted help finding my daughter some clothes for summer. Was pointed to a manger named Steve or Steven. A big badly dressed male. who looked like he was ready to attend a BBQ then manage a store. He carried no friendly anything in his face. and before I could open my mouth walked passed with his nose in the air, before I could say a word.. I took my daughter to Macy's service sucks. I really like this store! Usually it has nice things for reasonable prices whenever I visit. The most recent time I went I left my purse on a rack and it was gone. I asked the people at the registers to help me and they said no one had turned anything in, and then I went around the store looking for it and asking all the employees if they had found it or if they had seen it, but everyone said they couldn't help me. Finally one employee, Suzzie, actually helped me. She went to all the other employees and asked them for me, and when they couldn't find it, went to lost and found herself instead of just calling over the phone. She found my purse there and returned it to me. I was so happy I jumped up and down and ran to hug her. She is an incredibly nice person who took time to help me and made sure I had everything I lost. Thank you!!! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would horrible customer service. I came in around 9:45 I get it you guys close at 10 but I knew what I was looking for I was just going to grab it try it on really quick then pay. So I finally found what I was looking for I go to the fitting room and the girl working there just says "it's close you can't try anything else anymore" not even a sorry it's close no nothing I was fine with it so I just tried it on top of what I was wearing so then I go pay for what I was going to take I'm waiting in line to pay oh forgot to say they kept hurrying us up so they could charge us and we could leave. My dad grab bag accessory and put it close to my face so I could see it so this other girl screams at my dad saying "Sir it's not a toy.. thank you" like what we are not playing with it. Whatever not going to this store ever again I rather go to express where I came into the store at around 8:40 and they were about to close but guess what they weren't hurrying me up I actually got out of the store at 9:20 when they closed at 9:00. Every time I go in this H&M I have a mediocre experience. Now I will say that they have a variety of size and styles of clothing however the line, customer service and cashiers will make you turn right around and walk out the door. The line is ALWAYS long and the last time I went to this H&M the cashiers were SOOO SLOW. There were times the line wasn't even moving because the cashiers were acting like they had all day like all of them were slow. Sometimes I think it is just me but my friend turned to me and said the exact same thing.Then I noticed at one point one of the girl cashiers was rolling her eyes at the customer in front of me, annoyed. I guess she carried that on to me because it took her ten minutes to ring up 2 items, bag them and send me on my way. Mental note I live 4 blocks away and I rather go to ANY other H&M. I keep trying to give this H&M a chance and every time it is something. read more

I just wanted to start off by saying I was on a mission. My home store is actually Topanga and I work at that mall. I've had really bad experiences at that store where I actually left in tears because an employee was making faces at my size (I'm Plus Size). But anyways, I went to this H&M and I was looking for a particular sweater. Nothing fancy, seriously it was $10. But I had a picture and the employee was on a mission to help me find that sweater! He couldn't find it in store and offered to have it on hold for me at another store, given we found it. I was so impressed by his services. He was in hold with a store to find it and didn't want to give up on helping me search. We were unsuccessful in finding the sweater and I was just reassured that it was going to be found online if there was no other option. Working in retail, I didn't want to be that annoying customer who kept making him call and waste his time. I came back like twenty minutes later and decided I would purchase another sweater meanwhile, Kristian saw me and apologized a billion times. I was so confused because he was so helpful. He found the sweater in the go backs of the fitting room and told me he had looked for me. When I think of customer service, this is what comes to mind. Someone who is an owner at heart and really works hard to ensure that his customers are happy. He was genuinely happy to help me and has forever changed my mind on this store. Thank you Kristian for being such a delight. For listening to your customer and for making me feel like I was important in a huge store. I am definitely an H&M shopper for life. Useless employees. Very long lines and not easy to shop. I have yet to meet a happy cashier. Everyone seems unhappy.

On 11/25/15, I made a purchase at H&M # 106 at the Americana, Glendale CA. I used the $25 gift card and signed for the transaction. For some unknown reason to me (perhaps fraud on their part), the cashier, Emp# 50558 voided the transaction and proceeded to try and try and try and try to run the gift card. After the first transaction, it kept declining (obviously because they already made the charge the first time). This is also evident on the gift card transaction statement. Emp #50558 insisted that it had not gone through and made me pay for the full amount on my other credit card. The entire experience has been ridiculous and a waste of time. I spoke to the manager Ashley who kept giving me the run around instead of taking ownership of the situation. Ashley continued to tell me to check my balance daily since it was over a weekend and that the $25 balance would re-appear. I checked my balance from 11/26/15 - 12/1/15 and still a zero balance and the gift card transaction states H&M at the Americana took the money and settled the transaction on 11/26/15. I called Ashley again on 12/1/15 to let her know there was still a zero balance and that the transaction stated it was settled at H&M and she is now having me go through this entire long process to dispute the charges through the GIft Card company which may take 6 weeks to recover. read more

The star counter wouldn't let me go past 5. If it were up to me I'd give em like all the stars in the sky! I went in one day, a skinny wallet in my back pocket,and stars in my eyeholes. I had the best of intentions to go in and go out with a brand spanking new pair of SHORTS. I was so excited to begin my journey. I worked my way up to the men's department when I met a wonderfully friendly sells associate by the name of Casey. He has a dolphin on his name tag which is kawaii imo. He led me to the shorts and showed me what they got. I grabbed a pair and then was like "yo man, where are the pants?" Recently I'd been gaining a little weight so some of my pants didn't fit just right. Again he smiled and led me to the pants. His favorite brand which were on sale as well! I ended up grabbing three pairs but before I did I noticed a sick pair of green drop crotch pants. "Holy shit I gotta get em" whispered. Yea they were pretty pricey BUT with all the money I saved from my shorts and pants that were on sale, it was totally worth it. I love love love love h&m and I also love Casey.hey boy, if you reading this right now, thanks for the memories, and for saving me enoug money that I could still go eat taco Bell aftery shopping eggstravaganza. This store is clean and bright! It has cool art on the walls and if carrie Bradshaw wasn't a fictional character in the show sex and the city shed totally would of shopped here and agreed with me that those pants and shirts were a dang steal!!!! 1 billion stats to H&M. read more

The upside to this store was that I got my nephews some really cute outfits. Everytime I look at them I smile. That is the only reason they are getting such a High rating. Now.. the customer service sucked... i was under the impression that I would be getting a 20 percent discount on my purchase.. so what did I do? I purchased a whole bunch of clothes for my nephews and for me. I had signed up for i guess their newsletter and they gave me a cheesy red sticker (I shoulda stuck it on my nose and walked around the store) anyway. I was to present that sticker at the cash register to get a 20 percent discount. Little did i know, that discount applied to one item.. the cashier was "NICE" enough to apply it to the most expensive item -_- WOOPTY DOO.. when i Asked him to take off the adult clothes he gave me this look and attitude like you know you can afford it why are u being such a cheapo. He was getting impatient with me.. OH NO!! *shrug* Thank God I left when I did. Anyway.. I wont be doing any more shopping at this H&M and whats more.. maybe Ill write a strongly worded letter about the asian cashier with the glasses to corporate H&M.. read more

This H&M was great! The customer service was ehhh...but at which H&M is it really excellent. The selection is great and it's HUGE! I went specifically because they have a maternity section which was small but well stocked and they had plenty of choices both casual and dressy. I have been TONS of H&M's in NUMEROUS cities in many countries. I must say that for starters I do like H&M. For people who complain that the sizes are too small, umm they specialize in European sizes! There are many other companies that cater to those who require a bigger size. So for people who are slimmer, the clothes fit great. Now back to this location, for the most part, it is disappointing. But with that being said, after going to many of the H&M locations in Los Angeles, they are all about the same. They pretty much have the exact same thing with the exception of maybe the Beverly Center and it's pretty average at best. This Glendale location seems to just carry the basic of the basic. I believe that H&M monitors the demographics of their stores because in New York, they have more of a variety. In London...well it's London. There are other stores that competes with H&M so they have to stay on their toes, not to mention that London is one of the fashion capitals. But at the Glendale location, it's quite chaotic with tons of suburban teens or soccer moms running all over the place. The sale section was pitiful and waiting to get in a dressing room is a complete disaster. I must agree with the reviewer Amy K. The music is overbearing and annoying. Women will probably have better luck than men but overall if you're looking for something more than basic, the Glendale or many of the L.A. locations may not be for you. If you're just looking for simple then knock yourself out. If you want a little more of a selection, then you may need to buy a ticket and head to the UK or possibly NY but that would get rather expensive for cheap clothing. For the record, there is an H&M on Hollywood Blvd. which is 10 times worst as it's about the size of a closet. cheers! read more

We went to this store on the evening of 01/04/2017 and I will definitely not come back there again anytime soon. This is all regarding a male cashier with a beard. I came to him to check on a price of one item I liked for my daughter. It was a little purse which was in the pile of marked down items next to a sign that said "selected items are $12 something dollars". The male cashier double-checked the price for me and told me that the item is in fact not on sale and that the price is $35. I thanked him and decided not to buy it. When I turned around to put this purse back, I overheard what he said to the other cashiers there. He mocked me by saying to them that "I should've told her that it only costs $1". I didn't turn around to say something back. My daughter was buying some items at the next cashier and also heard him say that. He made me feel awful with his snarky remark. I wanted to ask him or ask his manager but we decided to leave the store to not ruin the rest of our evening. read more

They have a huge selection here. Probably the most any H&M could possibly have. Downstairs and the front half of upstairs is the women's section, while the back upstairs half is the men's, with a side room on the right for children's clothes, which I must say is very stylin'. There's business attire, casual attire, and lingerie. Each section has its own sales area, but it's usually 1-2 small racks. read more

I absolutely love this place. The store is always clean and they have a huge section for business attire, which I love. They don't have plus size here but they do go up to a size 14. I like to come here during my lunch break and it's never crowded. I am always greeted by the employees and they are readily and willing to assist any way they can. read more

I like their clothing and accessories. They are fairly priced for a relatively good quality of trendy clothes, that can last you up to 2-3 years in a row. I get a good wear of the jeans and pants. I also love the children's boy section. They always offer good cotton wear with fancy European look at reasonable prices. I particularly love the sales at the end of each season and stock up on children's next size up, especially on sweaters. read more
