Pork tenderloin, chicken chop handsized, rice cakes

Edit May end: this place looks sus these days with an OK safety rating. The smell is awful too as the ventilation seems to be non existent The place is the bb for skewers in U district. It's very tough to find a skewer spot that is good in Seattle.. The chicken chop is the best! Typical Cantonese/taiwanese style! The mushroom stands out a lot! It's so crispy n coated with a thin tempura like batter n takes in the spices so good that u should get it in the spicier versions. The pork tenderloin was so smooth and juicy that it's hard to pick just one meat option when here. The fired banana has a nice firm coating with sweet condensed milk on top. It's so amazing that getting it spicy is amazing great contrast with the sweet inside and on top. The rice cake is crispy and firm, not very chewy. 100% recommend these five. But you can't really go wrong. The beef n cilantro isn't for me though. It was too chewy n the grassy taste was uhhh. The appetizers were so good too! Like the vinegar shredded potatoes. So damn well made for such a small price

Pork skewers and chicken steak are my favorites. They're very tasty--highly recommended.

So value wise this place earned the full stars from me, as I liked my past experiences in the Kitchen, but the Restaurant comes out ahead with pricing. I have been craving baked pork chop with rice over tomato sauce and cheese, and this place delivers. Definitely not cheap as I paid north of $20 for it, almost double what I usually pay outside of Seattle, but there's barely any good HK cafes out here so this will do. For the baked pork chop rice here, I liked the baked cheese that adds additional flavor, and the pork has no fat so I can just easily consume all the pieces. The rice is okay, but texture is good. The tomato sauce is apparent and helps with the overall flavors of the dish. I liked that for takeout, they put it in a foil bowl to keep most of the food warm.

Chicken wings have no taste. The milk tea may be ok and the western toast is normal because that…read morerequires no skills. The satay beef noodle and preserved mustard green shredded pork noodles are bad. The satay one is 100% not Hong Kong style. The preserved mustard green shredded pork one is blant. Food comes out slow. The decoration is ok to trick you into believing they are Hong Kong style. But they are not. It's only the chef's own style.
