Such a great place for a quick snack. We ordered the duck jianbing. The duck was tender, the jianbing which is a Chinese street food crepe made from a thin batter was delicious.

The concept of Master Bing is so tantalizing - different types of meats wrapped up by a crispy scallion pancake. Unfortunately, it's all just hype, and we left pretty disappointed. My wife and I tried two different jian bings (lamb and duck), and we also got duck rolls. The duck rolls were so small and paltry, with barely any meat in them. Definitely lacking in quality and taste - and it's definitely not cheap. I would stray away from the duck rolls, unless you're want to throw money away for subpar food. The jian bings weren't bad. In fact, the size was pretty large and generous. But something was still lacking. Despite its size, it lacked depth of flavor - these bings should be a mix of salt (from the meats) and sweetness (from the sauce), but it lacked both? It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. We walked in to an empty restaurant during the peak hours of lunch, and now I kind of understand why.

This was my first time trying Master Bing from this location. We ordered takeout and got the BBQ pork and the Chinese Donut options. Overall the taste was ok, but the Chinese donut was soft/soggy instead of crispy, and I realized after I opened it up that even though I paid extra for an additional egg, it wasn't included. The BBQ pork had very few pieces of thin meat. I don't know if today was just not their day because some of the other pictures posted showed much more filling than what we had.. I would recommend double checking that they had the appropriate toppings before you leave the store.

Absolutely delicious and a unique place to get chinese crepes! The service is quick and ambiance is chill. I would definitely go out of my way to come here!

Great place to get Jianbing, Chinese savory crepes. Great parking around the area. I loved it, I will be coming back! Very delicious!

I came here to grab a quick lunch and it was easy, quick and delicious. I got the mushroom jianbing and added pork to it, and it was very tasty. I chose to get the mild spice level, which ended up being pretty spicy in my opinion. I think it needed some sauce, which I unfortunatly did not have, but it would have added to the food. You can either order ahead online or order on a screen when you arrive. I took my order to go, but there is plenty of seating.

Got this as a to go order so I didn't get to eat it fresh but overall I think it's pretty good and almost up to standard to the ones I got from China. Expect this one is so much more expensive (but Seattle prices smh). I got the lamb one and it has a fair amount of thinly sliced lamb pieces in it and great cumin seasoning on it. The wonton sheet a nice addition even tho it was a bit soggy due to time. I like how they add an egg to the pancake mixture.

Got this order to go so didn't get to eat it fresh. Regardless, great portion for the price depending on what you get. Some meats are more expensive than the others. I got the new lamb one which was so delicious. Nicely meaty with thin thin slices but not stingy on meat. The crispy wonton cracker was soft by the time I got to eat it but some parts were still crispy so I reckon it would be crispier eaten immediately. Their mild spiciness is quite nice with a good kick. Though if you don't really eat spicy it may be a little too spicy. Also not overly salty and well flavored! Also tried a sip of their soymilk which was quite nice. The soybean flavor was prominent and the soymilk was sweetened.

Stumbled upon this jianbing stand on the UW campus and was immediately transported back to the streets of China. Crispy, savory, and made fresh to order--the jianbing here is the real deal. The combination of the crunchy cracker (薄脆), egg, cilantro, green onion, and house sauces wrapped in a warm crepe is absolutely addictive. They even offer customizations like adding sausage or spicy chili paste for extra kick. It's the perfect quick lunch or snack between classes. The staff is friendly, and you can tell they care about keeping the experience authentic. Highly recommend if you're looking for comfort food with bold flavors!

Super nice service and yummy authentic food that brought me to my hometown of northern China. I was confused which one to get and the workers helped me understand how to order - I got the Peking duck with a Chinese donut add on (which seemed to be the most popular option!) and the food was rlly good! I definitely recommend have the Chinese donut inside to make it extra filling. The soy milk is probably some of the most authentic drinks I've gotten, delicately sweet, just how I like it. Lots of Chinese food in university village but this is a spot you won't want to miss. Jianbing is a popular streetfood in China and no other places sell it here! Prices were reasonable and the food was quite filling despite the size. Most people get to-go but there is a spot for dine-in service. There are a few tables and counter overlooking the bustling street outside.

Pricy but I like the flavor so I will still buy it. Many options to choose from. Very authentic Chinese food.

I came for the Cherry Blossom Jianbing during the Cherry Blossom Festival at U Dub. It was so delicious that I ordered the Spicy Lamb Jianbing to go. Next time I'm trying a different one. Hopefully one day I will have tried them all. Worth every penny!

A cozy small hut that sells tasty street food for a cheap price! Everything is self-service, so you can modify the order to your preference. They have wide variety selections in their menu, including vegan and vegetarian options. And they're also participating in the UW Cherry Blossoms festival, so now it's a good time to check them out!

The restaurant was lively with a moderate noise level. A simple family restaurant that puts out authentic Chinese food. My companions both ordered the Black Mushroom with Chicken Rice in a stone clay pot. Their regular meal at the restaurant. I selected the Braised Beef Brisket with vegetables in a clay pot. The two rice dishes require 20 minutes to prepare hence my Braised brisket arrived first and bubbling hot. The flavors were rich and deeply satisfying. So good that my companions plan to order the Braised brisket next time. The Chicken Stone pot clay rice bowls arrived soon afterward. My friends enjoyed their dishes. Fresh tasting and delicious crispy rice. One ordered a Milk Tea and enjoyed it. Highly recommended for an authentic meal when you are in Seattle's International district!

I had my all time favorite dish at a Hong Kong café cuisine, gon caau ngau ho (乾炒牛河), aka beef chow fun, along with a childhood favorite drink, iced Horlicks. I liked how everything moved at a quick pace here and yet the staff were still friendly. The best part was that no one stopped by to ask how the food was while your mouth was full, because they already knew the food was good. The beef chow fun was just as good as the ones back home. It was savory and full of wok hei (iykyk). The bean sprouts were added at just the right time, so they were still a slightly crunchy. The sliced beef was tender too. If you like adding extra spice, be sure to try the crunchy chili sauce on the table. It was awesome, fragrant, spicy, and full of flavor. Just be careful not to choke on it, I did, and it wasn't fun. I hadn't had Horlicks in twenty years, and the first sip brought back so many memories. Be sure to stir it well and maybe wait until the ice melts a little, otherwise it may be slightly too sweet. My partner is a vegetarian. He looked through the entire menu and said there weren't many things he could order (listen, people, choose your future SO accordingly if you like sharing big meat dishes). He ended up ordering the curry vegetable rice and added a fried egg. He said the curry was delicious. I tried a bite of it and agreed. I think there may have some coconut milk in it because it was rich and creamy. The rice was a little too dry to my liking. Sitting there and listening to the background music from the Hong Kong TV news, I felt like a kid again.

Which is appropriate, considering that Tai Tung is best known as a frequent haunt of the late martial arts star Bruce Lee, who is celebrated with a shrine at his favorite booth. Service during our recent Saturday evening visit was fast and efficient, and each dish was more than large enough for one person. Our son loved the amazing Fried Chicken Wings, while my wife and daughter split an order of Beef Chow Fun. I wanted to love this place, but I was honestly a little disappointed by the lack of flavor in the noodles and the sauces. The Chicken Wings and Kung Pao were excellent, but the Chow Mein honestly underwhelming, and the Fried Rice more than a bit dry. With so many restaurants to choose from in Seattle's International District, I wish we had explored other options before committing to Tai Tung. I've definitely had better Chinese food elsewhere.
