Paella mixta

Delicious paella, great breakfast. Friendly staff despite always being busy. We had lunch one day and breakfast three others. Loved everything. The croissants are amazing.

When we landed in Seville - there were two things we absolutely needed to try. Paella and sangria, and Gusto provided both, and they did not disappoint. The Paella here also takes roughly 35-40 minutes to cook, so please be aware if you're really hungry. Both the paella AND the shrimp carpaccio potato salad dish we had were amazing, and with a whole liter of sangria to guzzle down, it made our first night in Seville so memorable. They have plenty of room inside with a nice modern flair, and if you'd like to sit outside, they have misters to accommodate hot weather.

I loved this restaurant! The paella mixta was so flavorful and delicious and the service was amazing! Our server Valena was very nice and made our experience comfortable! The ambiance was also great and we sat on the patio which was wonderful!

Seafood Paella (we asked them to add butifarra sausage and they did-- you should too!) Soooo good!

Excellent paella! If you're in the Santa Cruz neighborhood in Seville, this is the place to go for paella. It's right next to the cathedral and Giralda, but be sure to make a reservation online or you may not get in at busier times. There aren't many tables inside. While the paella was the best we had in Seville, don't bother ordering dessert. We had the carrot cake and the lemon tart and they were both average at best. Also, skip the sangria here and go for wine instead. The sangria wasn't memorable and the selection of wine and beer is good. Service was also very good-- all the servers we interacted with spoke English well.

Our night out at Gusto

We made reservations and missed the mark of 15 minutes due to traffic. We got a table outside regardless so that was cool. Service was ok nothing to brag about. You don't really have a server. It took 30 minutes to get a wine glass but the food was great! Squid in rice was so creamy and delicious. It took an hour and a few minutes to make as they are busy. Outside there were musicians walking around trying to make a buck or two. But gives you a sense of their culture here. Wine was great food was awesome don't expect too much for service.

Goat cheese and ham croquet

Overpriced and not that good. The location is good so if you can get a reservation to sit outside that would be the best part. We got sangria which was decent and a Campri (spelling?). The Campri was the most disgusting drink we have ever had. Like worse than everclear and fourlocos mixed together. The croquet was pretty good - that was the best thing we had. The paella was not horrible and it had a lot of meat, but it was SO overpriced. We have gotten paella 10x as good for half the price. We ate at several other places with great outdoor seating, better prices and better drinks.

Probably the busiest restaurant in the Cathedral. Very touristy but the food us solid. They serve American style breakfast, scrambled eggs, croissants, jamon, early, then close breakfast at 12 and reopen for lunch at 1:30. So if you arrive between 12 and 1pm, you won't be seated for breakfast but have to wait till 1:30 for lunch. We've eaten here twice, once for late lunch and for breakfast and no complaints about the dishes. Nothing spectacular, but pretty good for a tourist restaurant. This is Spain, where coffee and OJ is always excellent.

Shrimp and asparagus. Caneloni
Paul S.

We came here late our first evening in Sevilla and were lucky to get a table. There is a wide variety of items to try, but we skipped the paella since we were starving. The croquetas were heavenly paired with aperol spritz. Caneloni were cheesy. My favorite was shrimp with asparagus. The fried cheese was probably not worth the calories, but still good. It is in a popular location next to the cathedral. Plan ahead!

Awesome fresh homemade pasta and pastries. American coffee (hard to find in Spain), friendly English speaking waiters and 80s music.

Knowing we were going to eat a lot during a food tour, we settled on some small tapas (ham, cheese, bread, and olives) and got some sangria and a beer. We sat at the bar and I was able to practice my Spanish with the bartender. The ham was a generous portion and I loved watching them cut it behind the bar! Very fun and old establishment-y vibes. Wish we could've tried more on the menu if we didn't have other plans!

I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.

After walking around the…read morecathedral and old town, it was time for a much needed break, because man, this town is huge! Alas, handy dandy Yelp saved the day (as it always seems to do) and directed me to this cute little pastry shop hidden between the windy streets of Sevilla. The shop is small with only 3 tables inside and some seating available outside. It's super cute too with a french aesthetic, pastel walls, and jars of pastries sitting right in the middle. We were lucky enough to snag a table at 5pm and ordered right away as I was excited to try their apple cake (recommended by Yelp) which was suprisingly an apple tart! My dad who joined me during my unofficial tea time ordered an espresso and cheesecake as well. I was very happy with the offerings, as I could say that I haven't had a better apple tart, even in France! It was flaky, not too sweet, and a downright beautiful pastry with apple folds in the middle! The cheesecake was great too with a homemade marmalade on top. The pastries blew me away and if you're looking for a nice place for a break of even a quick morning option that isn't typical to Sevilla, come here and you won't be disappointed at all!

Located within 5 minutes walking of the Alcazar it makes for an easy stop in before or after visiting the Alcazar. Everything is served on mismatched china in the courtyard of a Spanish home (cool right?). However, there is where my gushing stops. Service was very poor on a morning that wasn't busy (from the looks of it). We had to ask twice for our orders to be taken (language barrier wasn't the issue), the food was mediocre at best. NOT real churros by any means. They had a weird almost plastic taste to them and the chocolate was very watery with no flavor. The tortilla de patata was also very dry. Not rushing back by any means.
