Salt and Sugar is a cute little café. I stopped by for breakfast and ordered an apple cake, vanilla cappuccino and a fruit bowl. The apple cake was a delicious pastry, and was my favorite of the three things I ordered. The vanilla cappuccino had good flavor, but was not made with real coffee, they use a mix for the vanilla cappuccino so if you're in the mood for coffee I would order a latte instead. I love the decorations of the shop, and the presentation is cute. Great place and I would recommend going if you're meeting up with someone- but consider someplace else if you have a big group because the shop is quaint!

Stopped by in the morning on the way to the Alcázar and got an espresso. The shop is super cute and the espresso was the best I've had on this trip.

Quiche de jamon y queso, almond and chocolate cookie, and café con leche :)

Coffee just ok. Quiche was part hot, part cold, cookie was divine! It's nice to sit outside because normally smokers take over the outside of places... I was early enough I guess!!! 9:00am on a Saturday :)

This place is very cute and the decorations inside are very adorable. I got the cappuccino with vanilla and it was very delicious. The pastry was so so-so. The seating is very little so you can take it to go if you want.

Café con leche and lemon cake

Salt and Sugar stands out for being a cute, small, densely decorated coffee and pastry shop on an avenida where most things look the same. We stopped by to get an afternoon coffee and pastry to fuel walk around the city. The coffee was quite good, and I was especially impressed with the lemon cake. The location itself is very small with limited seating, but you can grab a tiny table outside and enjoy a sunny Spanish day and watch the people go by. The owner was very nice. I would definitely stop by the next time I'm in Seville!

A lovely little place with delicious coffee, best I had during a six-day stay in Sevilla. Only a few tables inside but seating out.

A hidden gem on a side street surrounded by a few little shops. It was my mornings day afternoon cappuccino while I stayed in Seville.

Cute but coffee was watery and pastry not fresh and all overpriced. Nice people but not enough to make up for poor food.

That exact situation occurred when I visited Torch Coffee Roasters. When the barista saw I was about to snap a picture, he asked me if he could redo it. I compromised. I did not get another drink because I did not want to waste the one I got. However, I agreed to take a picture of his next latte for another customer so I had a more representative example of his skills. In terms of my latte, the presentation was subpar but the substance was very good. The texture was smooth and the taste had no hint of bitterness. Torch Coffee Roasters also had the most space of the coffee shops I tried in Seville. Accordingly, definitely get the latte to stay if you are not in a rush. The latte art is excellent if you do. I usually order espresso and/or pour over whenever I go to a coffee shop. Here, I focused on espresso and had them a few different times. Everything time it was pulled well with the machine dialed in correctly for the beans. They were also using good quality craft beans, which is setting them up for success. Had the change to try the latte as well, which was also very good. The pastries were okay, nothing special. The space itself is very inviting with lots of seating, it does get pretty loud though.

We were so wrong, each cream filling was flavored. First we tried mango and a vanilla with our cafe con leche, we were so happy with it that we decided to take 6 more to go. Another mango, vanilla, praline, rasberry, cafe, caramel, even after eating it a day later it still tasted delicious. we also tried the brownie and its like brownie with fudge sauce... So happy we saw this place while exploring the market, it is a must place to visit for dessert.

Whenever we are on vacation, he'll have 2-4 scoops of gelato/ice-cream a day, I'll have 1-2, PLUS any other sweet treats we can get our hands on. Bocasu was one of the only 3 stalls open at Mercado de Triana (we visited on a Sunday). Stopping by was a no brainier. We ordered the bandas (an apple tart with a crispy, delicate, chewy crust and a thin apple topping; not overly sweet), mini praline cream puff (like a little sweet bite of heaven), and a chocolate cookie (can't remember the name but it tastes like a large, round shortbread cookie). If my stomach was bigger and my metabolism faster, I would have ordered more things to try. No worries though, we have 4 more days in Seville and will be back for more.
