I got a loaf of aleman malta from this bakery every morning before starting my day in Sevilla. The bakery has such a large variety and tons to choose from. Service is quick and everyone was so friendly/helpful. The scent of fresh bread can drawn you in from blocks away. There is seating inside or out front but I took my bread on the go every morning. It is in front of the cathedral so it's a busy street! The aleman malta bread is so wonderful! I love the sourdough mixed with all the seeds! Perfect for snacking all day while walking. read more

We came to La Canasta earlier today hoping for a light afternoon coffee and snack! As we sat down we were welcomed by our waitress (who wasn't as familiar with the english language as we had hoped.) We were waiting for 2 of the people in our group to join us for around 10 minutes after we arrived, and the waitress seemed very confused and kept coming to check if they were coming. Once they came, we were very rushed to order and on of the people they skipped over! Once they arrived with all of the food and drinks, we realized they had missed something, but had already rushed us to pay. overall not the best experience, but could be worse. read more

They open earlier than most other places in the area and the service is fast and attentive. The breakfast menu has a few delicious options for pastries and larger meals if you are on the hungrier side. Being extra hungry, we ordered the jamon toast and the smoked salmon brioche. Both were incredible and complimented each other very well. The hollandaise sauce on the salmon brioche was like no other, and the jamon toast was fresh with a delicious layer of tomato. Here's a worthy stop for the international traveler. Open air to the bustling ambiance of a walkable city, bright and welcoming, expansive menu, and incredibly delicious food. I had a salmon entrepan sandwich, a cafe latte (syrup included), and a cafe con leche (just espresso and milk). I devoured this sandwich, which was highlighted by a creamy dijon mayo. The latte after mixing in the chocolate was probably too sweet - but that's how I learned that a cafe con leche is basically how to order a latte in Spanish. Came in for a sweet treat and an iced coffee in the afternoon. We sat in the patio overlooking the Cathedral. Dessert was good and the coffee was a carajita which just means a regular coffee with some sort of liquor. We got it with Baileys and over ice. We also ordered a. Lack Forest and a coconut cream cake. Both were just okay. The memorable thing that happened is that during my last sip of the coffee the ice which was big slid quickly forward and the coffee spilled all over my white tank top. I ran to the bathroom and one of the waitresses gave me the idea to just wash it with soap and water and sure enough most of came off. read more

What a tasty sandwich I had - it was salmon and feta cheese serviced with potatoes wedges and little salad. Tinto de verano was yummy as well. First stop in Seville: good options for jet lag. This is a bakery and sandwich shop like a delicious European Panera. Lots of character and good people watching. I had the roasted veggies with jamon. We visited here once, wait no twice, during our short stay in Sevilla. Located literally across from Cathedral Sevilla and 5 minutes away from the Alcazar, this spot was our go to for quick bites to eat! For brekkies, there is the bakery side in which you pull a number outside their doors and wait for the workers to call your number (kind of like an old fashion butcher shop) and then you can order at the counter. We ordered yogurt and granola, a jamon pastry, butterfly cookies, and 2 cafes for about 11EU. Not a bad price at all. Their pastries weren't super amazing or anything, but the convenience of getting them was unparalleled because they're very fast at getting you what you want and present cheap options to start the day. On our second visit, we wanted a light meal and decided to dine in. After all, it served well as a great resting place as they had wifi, q restrook, and plenty of tables up for grabs (you gotta find your own seat and then order). I forgot the exact names but my mom ordered a prawn grilled veggies bowl and my dad ordered a mushroom scramble in a bread bowl. They were both pretty good and despite the crowds came out in about 20 minutes with no real problem, other than having to wave my hands a little bit to always get the waiters' attention. We visited this bakery/cafe almost every day during our visit to Sevilla. They serve a variety of food and drinks, it is a place I could get something on their menu any time of the day. I've got chocolate drink with berries (quite creative), tortilla jamon (Spanish omelet with jamon sandwich, they have different kinds of bread), chocolate cake and coffee. Price was reasonable, takeaway was cheaper than sit down. They have English menu, but not many tourists when we were there. Sometimes it got very crowded, especially before dinner hours for snacks. Great place for stopping by for a cup of drink or a slice of cake/sandwich/bread whenever, perfect breakfast spot! read more

Last night, I went to this restaurant and when I got home and slept, my sister threw up 7 times throughout the night. Why?
