I am visiting from California and craving live food such as a fresh salad. Filo popped up when I searched for salad near me, and the power salad looked exactly like what I had in mind. We walked here after spending three breathtaking hours at the Royal Alcázar of Seville. I ordered the power salad. It was a beautiful combination of tender moist chicken and quinoa and garbanzo beans and greens with a yummy pesto dressing. Everything was so fresh. The pesto dressing was delicious and not overly salted like so many restaurants tend to do these days. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly and accommodating. This cafe is clean and comfortable. It was the perfect spot to reenergize and have a fresh and delicious lunch. They have other offerings that look so good as well. Had a hearty scrambled eggs with whole wheat toast, avocado, mushrooms, and blistered tomatoes. Salt and pepper could be added to taste. Coffee of any type could be selected. Latte was a bit too strongly extracted for the espresso but the food wad excellent! I could eat their salad everyday, highly recommend this small shop! I am not a big fan of tapas, and wanted to eat fresh veggies. I was so glad to find this restaurant. My friends picked up food here before we left Seville, so I didn't go inside and see the ambiance or anything. However, the menu has a lot of good breakfast options and I really enjoyed my avocado toast. Surprisingly it was much more affordable than the avocado toast in America! We had an early flight to Seville so we walked around to find breakfast places and found this gem! The place ia small but they have a second place they direct people to when it gets crowded. The servers are nice and the food was out quickly. We ordered the curry mango chicken sandwich, yoghurt granola fruit bowl, and a tropical smoothie. The sandwich bread was nice and soft. The curry mango sauce was sweet and provided a delicious contrast to the savory chicken. Nuts and fresh spinach provided a crisp and crunchy texture. The granola bowl was amazing! The yoghurt was creamy, the muesli was nice and crunchy and the honey tasted to sweet and tied all the flavors together. Fresh fruit was heaped generously over the whole thing. Omg!!! Let the health shine !!! We are a bit exhausted with tapas here in Seville... this restaurant has saved us It's very tiny... but it packs a punch! Everything is fresh and delicious , we ordered the Thai bowls with kale and spinach , so so so good, fresh chicken, mango , peanuts, rice and a Thai sauce... When you finally get tired of the carbs and meat diet in España, Filo is there to save your digestive system. This health-conscious cafe is situated just out of the way from the main attractions of the Catedral de Sevilla and surrounding plaza, but is still jam-packed with tourists. During meal-times you'll probably have to wait a little before snatching a table outside or squeezing (literally) into one of the tables in the small dining area indoors. Menus can be found online via a QR code or on paper menus near the cash register (in English and Spanish). This cafe is bustling constantly, and service is self-serve - so go up to the cashier when you're ready, and listen for your order to pick it up. A jug of water is also available at the deli counter, self-serve. Ask for a glass of ice if you need it cold. The staff was pretty versed in English which is more common in the touristy areas. The menu is carnivore and omnivore friendly, with plenty of fiber to counteract all the dairy and carbohydrates you've probably eaten your weight in through tapas. The salads were HUGE and very filling, and all sandwiches came with chips. One last quirky feature is the bathroom - the women's is located at the back behind a sliding door, and you'll come out to a communal men/women's sink to wash up after. There's no mirror to admire your reflection in, but you can stop to appreciate the beautiful tiling. read more

HAD to write a review - I was a little skeptical of this "healthful" sandwiches place because yes, I'm tired of Spanish diet after a week... but I also don't feel like eating healthy food I can probably make at home. Decided to still give it a chance and bought a sandwich to go for my plane ride. OMG - was I shocked! The quality of their baguette is SO MUCH better than other baguette / pastries / toastadas I had in Spain this far. If got their ham/cheese sandwich and it was so fresh and delicious. My husband had originally said no to this healthy sandwich and was going to get pallela on the go... changed his mind after a bite of my sandwich and we just decided to split this one because he also loved it so much. As everyone else says, we came seeking the salads--but they only serve them after 12pm, and in our case they were so slammed serving breakfast (from a small kitchen) that they weren't willing to take our salad order until 12:15pm. This place was amazing! Coffee to die for, freshly squeezed orange juice exquisite, and the food was darling. The restaurant is small, but we had no problems sitting down quickly, albeit outside, which we preferred. The servers were super nice. In Sevilla, breakfast looks very different from what we're used to, so to find a place that was a merger between authentic and home was lovely. This was my husband and I's favorite breakfast place while visiting Seville. It is an adorable till restaurant with the BEST food. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs and my husband had the Spanish omelette. We both ate so quickly we didn't have a chance to share (not that we would have lol). I have been traveling in Spain for over a week now and was in desperate need of a good salad because the jamon and cheese was getting to be to heavy. This place has delicious salads, big portions and DELICIOUS SMOOTHIES! We were thrilled to find a place with healthy fare - and you could even create your own salad. I had the RED ENERGY salad with beets, eggs, tomatoes, nuts, + a generous amount of goat cheese. My friend made her own salad, and filled it with tons of goodies. They had lots of pre-made options, as well as tons of ingredients to customize things to your liking. We loved the brightness of the lemon dressing! However, unlike what were accustomed to in America where you can chop your salad, all of the ingredients came in big chunks and require some manual labor aka cutting the veggies yourself (the horror! After putting nothing but beer and carbs in my body for the last two weeks, this place was a godsend. I ordered the avo-toast with salmon, which came with cafe con lèche and orange juice. It came out to be 9.5 euros. They had fast and professional service, at other restaurants the pace is a bit slower as is customary. Their restaurant ambience and layout is excellent too - they have small pillows at every table, good natural lighting, and pepper & salt grinders in the front. Finally, the Bread is home-made, and you can really taste the quality. It was however, a bit over cooked and tough, but still tasted pretty good. And the avocado wasn't made into a spread, but instead put into large slices on the toast. Thankfully, it didn't detract from the taste too much, but it was weird to see that. Overall, a fun little place to visit, I definitely recommend adding this to your restaurant list in Seville. read more

Beyond amazing. We've been in Spain 2 weeks and this was the best breakfast we've had so far.
