We arrived Sevilla on a Friday during Semana Santa, hungry and most restaurants required a reservation; we walked in without reservation but the wonderful staff at Tanto Monta moved tables around to fit our group. We were sat inside, a casual warmly decorated airy ambience. The staffs spoke English and friendly. Some of the food we ordered: mixed fried seafood appetizer was big portion, the black ink rice with squid, garlic prawn,, grilled eggplants, egg potatoes omelet. Everything was good but the garlic prawns dish was underwhelming. After having multiple versions of tinto verano at various restaurants, we liked it best here, strong and refreshing! So randomly stumbled upon this spot while looking for a restaurant for a drink and restroom usage. Since we had dinner plans already, we only had some drinks here. It's too bad because the food looked really good here, so would totally come back to try that one day. It looks like seafood is very popular here, but they also have a variety of items from individual-sized paella and pasta too. The service was great and the space is nicely decorated as well. Came here for an earlier dinner and was pleasantly surprised with our meal. The staff was super nice and seated us in an indoor table right by some nice plants. We ordered the Burrata Salad, Tanto Monta Grill, and Torrijas for dessert. The burrata salad was the perfect starter and just a great salad overall. They give you a good portion of burrata as well. The Tanto Monta Grill came with two sides so we got fries and rice. The sauce that comes with it went great with the rice. We were looking for some halal eats in Sevilla Madrid and glad we found this place with help of online reviews. I got the ceviche tapas, paella and chicken tenders. We also ordered burger and nachos. Delicious tapas that are reasonably priced. The food is halal which is great if that's a concern for you. The food was so tasty that I came here twice during my trip! The servers aren't too strong in English but they can speak it and are friendly so just be patient :) There's only a couple of tables outside but grab one if you can - great for people watching. For the Muslim touring Spain, BBQ House is a heaven on Earth (but even for non-Muslims, it's worth checking out). We were able to sample a large variety of gourmet tapas at an extremely reasonable price. The "tapas" come in portions that felt like "raciones". What's more, their staff is SO kind, probably the best I've experienced in Spain. Not only were they present constantly for any of our needs, they even honored my request to give my wife a special birthday surprise by bringing out our churros with a candle on it! You could tell they really enjoyed and cared about our happiness. Obviously didn't get to try everything on the menu, but we made a good effort. If I'm ever back in Seville, I'll definitely come back here. You Must Try: "Camembert Frito com Salsa de Frambuert" for its excellent combo of cheesy savory and sweet raspberry flavor. "Croquetas" in spinach or chicken, they are so creamy and melty and warm. "Paella" because it's a classic, but I loved that it had more color and a variety of beans, not just peas. The rice wasn't too watery but perfectly fluffy. "Fideos Tostados con Langostinos" was a bafflingly good mixture of Asian and Spanish flavors. Basically noodles in soy sauce, but the creamy chipotle sauce and shrimp on top made it interesting. You could avoid: "Mini Hamburguesas de Ternero" since the meat was too dry and there was just an odd blend of flavors in there. I think they put sweet and sour sauce in one burger? BUT, the French fries were AMAZING - perfect balance of thin/thick cut. "Atun a la brasa con Salmorejo" as the blackened flavor made the tuna just taste bitter. The entire plate was drowned in olive oil. "Churros": I was expecting them to be sweeter, or with cinnamon. The hot chocolate they were served with was delicious, I would have drank that alone. read more

I stayed at a hotel right next door to this place while visiting Sevilla. I stumbled on to this place solely out of convenience and my late night craving for French Fries. But it turned out to be an amazing experience! Their menu is reasonably priced and food was fresh and service was fast. French fires were crisp and fresh. I came back a few times more and tried other dishes they had too. It tasted like eating at a typical chain American restaurant like Applebees, TGI Fridays, etc. Nothing special just standard American bar food with a bit of Spanish flavor. I give this place 5 stars because this place delivered consistently what I was hoping to get after trying all exotic dishes while traveling through Spain! read more

Low four stars from me. They have quite a lot on the menu, traditional tapas, burgers, sandwiches, noodles, salad, kebab skewers. Flavors from each side of the Mediterranean sea. I picked shish kebab that comes with choice of two sides. Good potatoes, but the salad was just wilted and looked like something from days ago. The chicken kebab was fine in terms of flavor, but pieces were not consistent in texture, because some were dry and some were undercooked. But the charred BBQ taste was still good. Larger cups of sauce would be nice. The interior is modern, sleek and clean with a high cieling, big windows with a lot of light coming in. Casual atmosphere and very reasonable prices. read more
