    Carne asada fries
    Eric M.

Stopped in to Gual Bertos after a high school football game. We were starving having traveled all day. Gual Bertos was packed with people. We ordered carne asada fries and carne asada tacos. OMG the portions were huge and the carne asada fries were legit the best I've ever had anywhere. So much meat and deliciousness. I could seriously eat these every day. The tacos were also gigantic and full of steak. The rice and beans were hot and delicious. You can't go wrong dining at Gual Bertos, if you've never been, make this a late night or dinner stop soon.

I have traveled far and wide searching for the greatest breakfast burrito, and Guals has it. Perfect tortilla taste and size, warm potatoes and bacon, melty cheese. This is the burrito you dream about on fast Sunday. Always fast service, good price, has salsa bar with great options, not stingy with any sauces. Nice staff I recommend a mix breakfast burrito, with red or green sauce. I have never regretted this purchase. Also carne asada tacos and deep fried quesadillas go hard!!! On the darkest nights, when it feels like all other restaurants are trying to cut you short, steal your money and leave you out in the cold, broken and hungry. Guals is the constant friend that will never turn you away, they're always there for you, waiting to greet you with a warm burrito embrace. Where can I turn for peace? Guals.

Food here is great Mexican food. Coming from So. Cal I used to think it was hard to find good Mexican food in UT. Not anymore this establishment amongst many others is good quality Mexican grub. The portions are large too. You get what you pay for for sure

California burrito with rice and bean side.

Our office decided we needed something filling for lunch. With this location nearby, it was the obvious choice. There is a large menu, lots of options. We opted for some nachos and a few orders of carne asada fries. Huge portions, good amount of food, very filling. The carne asada is really good, I enjoy that they are in bite sized pieces in the nachos and the fries. Lots of cheese, which is great. On another occasion I had the California burrito, the fries in there were like so-so okay, bland, soggy. But the rest was good. Little overboard on the guac. But pretty tasty. Felt a little jipped on the bean side, but I do love rice, so thanks for the extra. Quite good overall. Sometimes, it can make you a little sick, probably because of overeating haha, but people usually know that before they go. We will most likely be back again due to the proximity and the craving that hits every so often.

I've been coming here since 2003. It's the best! I accidentally ordered a steak ranchero burrito instead of the plate one time and can't go without it now!

The only place I could find open in the middle of the night. Perfect to satisfied the hungry ness at midnight. I got the breakfast burrito, steak, eggs, cheese and potatoes. It was good and huge. I will definitely have it again!

Are you kidding me? The carne asada burrito was unreal! So good! I've only been here once, but I will definitely be back. Food: Like I said above - unreal. Tons of flavor in the meat, plus the guac in the burrito was a perfect addition. Try it. You'll love it. And if you don't, you're not human. Service: I mean..They were nice and all. I wouldn't say there was real "service" here other than them making the food and handing it to me. Atmostphere: Eh. It's an old Kneaders, but you'd have no idea other than the mural in the front of the dining area. Tile floors, cheap tables & chairs.. a somewhat-but-not-really clean feel all around. But hey, it's gives it more of that "hole in the wall" feel.

Their meats have been dry, BUT the beans, rice, guacamole, tortillas have been so addictive!

Gual Bertos is the best! The only good mexican food in Draper. The lunch crowd is filled with Hispanic workers. That's the best endorsement!

Good food, but greasy and they don't trim the fat. I guess that makes them more authentic. I love the salsa bar too!

Solid Mexican food but don't get the Tortas. They're pretty plain and just not very good.

I ordered the fish tacos and a cucumber lemonade, and both were outstanding. The lemonade was incredibly refreshing and hit the spot perfectly. The fish tacos were crispy, flavorful, and served with several different condiments that allowed you to customize each bite and add even more flavor. The chips and salsa were also fresh and delicious. One thing to note is that the parking lot is small and was completely packed when we arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon. However, we were still able to find parking and get a table surprisingly fast despite the crowd. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere made for a great experience. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend giving this place a try!

They start you off with chips and salsa, which is always appreciated. Just know that the first basket is complimentary and any additional baskets come with a charge. Of everything we tried, the Cheesy Pastor Tacos were the clear standout. The birria, asada, and chorizo were all good, but the pastor tacos stole the show. Next time I'll probably skip the variety and just order those. The only thing that caught us off guard was the seating policy. They wouldn't seat our table until everyone in the party had arrived, even though the people we were waiting for were literally pulling into the parking lot. It wasn't a huge issue, but it did feel a little unnecessary and inconvenient. Overall, the food was excellent, the drinks were refreshing, and the experience was a good one. I'll definitely be back, especially for the Cheesy Pastor Tacos.
