    Avocado Toast

I read the reviews before coming, this place was on my list because of a recent article in the Philadelphia inquirer. How right was that one who said that said the coffee was warm?! It was right! I was excited to taste this Rose Latte. It would only have been more enjoyable if it were HOT. Small sitting area, vibrant atmosphere, courteous staff and overall good vibes. We were halfway through our beverages when my husband suggested we try the Avocado toast. Boy am I glad he made this suggestion. He said "best Avocado toast ever", I say pretty darn good, too! The bread is the start, a variation on the English muffin, everything bagel spice, Avocado was perfectly seasoned and topped with thin sliced radish. Yum. That sandwich is worth returning for, I am tempted to try the hummus toast next. Avocado toast

Ordering is at the counter. Menu on the counter. The drink/food are bright out to you. Coffee is good but for us it was lukewarm warm at best. Otherwise everything else was good including parking outside.

Great food, coffee, service, and vibe. The upstairs was my favorite. There was little to no crowd, books to read, and no music up there. Easily spent a few hours in solitude up there!

Service was good. Not much seating open since they were a little busy. The iced latte was really good. For some reason it tasted a lot better than the West Chester location. The latte at the West Chester location was watery and not good but this one was much much better.

Honey Latte and strawberry rhubarb scone

My friend and I were in Devon and looking for a coffee shop to stop in the afternoon and this was one of only a few that was open late just a short drive in Wayne. From the outside the shop is beautiful big windows and lovely green trim, there are a few small tables out front. Inside there's a large counter with a pastry case, a cooler with bottled drinks, and a shelf with snacks and coffee. The menu is simple and has a illustrated chart on the different type of coffee drinks. They had a few specials and also a large list of other flavors. I went with a honey latte and it was quite possibly the best latte I've had in awhile. I got the largest size and drank it rather quickly because it was so good. Very smooth. The building is very narrow and very old with high ceilings- it's a little dingy in the sitting area - not a lot of light and because of its age it appears a little dirty. Definitely saw some bug mats which grossed me out. But the coffee bar itself was clean as were the tables. There's a beautiful back window that faces a painted brick wall. There's not much seating luckily we were able to snag one of the last tables and there were plenty people still filing in after us. This definitely must be a fave local spot as many people were set up with laptops who appeared to be stationed there for an hour or more. In addition to the coffee I ordered a strawberry rhubarb scone which was delicious and I would love to know where the pastries come from. For a good cup of coffee it's a good spot, but it might be easier to take this coffee on the go!

Coffee is really good!! And the pastry's were supper yummy too! Overall really love it here and will be back soon

Brown sugar iced whole milk latte 16oz for here

The coffee, espresso, teas, everything is quality. Glass jug whole milk and an espresso machine thats high grade, place is a hidden gem and the best coffee ive had in PA. This cafe blows La Colombe out of the water, and the service from the baristas was excellent. The vibe here is so home like, and with plenty of seating. Best cafe in PA!!

Amazing cafe! Super fresh and healthy food, and great Coffee! They have a decent amount of seating downstairs and a big room of seating upstairs as well. Definitely a great place to sit and read or do work at.

Excellent coffee selection and made just the way we want: strong, fast, and delectable. The staff was happy to accommodate oat milk requests and had proper ceramic mugs so we could enjoy the flavor of the coffee and not the paper cup.

I really love this spot for getting a bit of work done on the weekend. I appreciate that it opens early-- 7am and has a good amount of seating. There are all kinds of unique things on the menu from artisan sausage to ice cream sandwiches. The coffee is great too as are the yogurt parfaits.

I've visited this place often over the past few years since I stay around and loved the place and their items . But I'm so disappointed with today's service, ordered while chocolate to go and was served milk with a couple of chocolate flakes sprinkled!

This time was a completely different experience -- (1) no waitress to take your order, all walk up, (2) the avocado on my sandwich tasted bitter likely caused by it being past ripe, (3) we were sat but given no water (which we ended up retrieving our selves), we brought our own wine & had to request an ice bucket & glasses 3 times (our sandwiches came out before we had anything to drink), (4) tables were covered with used dishes & then the dish/trash retrieval cart was pushed around & left next to our table, & (5) every server seemed bummed, like they didn't want to be there & didn't know how to be a server. It was shocking & I kept apologizing to my friend for bringing her & suggesting the spot. We were hoping for a super fun girls brunch but the vibes were giving struggle bus. Hoping this place can get back to where it was, but I won't be back to see.

I ordered the Lafayette on a baguette and he ordered the Parisian. The sandwiches were massive and also came with salad, neither of us could finish. They were very very good. The bread was perfect. Service was slow but they were packed when we went. Everyone was very friendly. Would come again.

Then they can choose to order the dish lacking a key component or they can select something that can be prepared correctly. Sourdough with smoked salmon, tomatoes, cream cheese, red onion, and CAPERS is not the same dish without the salty briny capers. So, big fail. At almost $13 for a single slice of toast without the other items (and not enough smoked salmon to counteract the missing salty aspect) it's sad. On the upside, there were enough red onion chunks to have me breathing onions for several days. The specialty drink I ordered, which is a cold brew with an amaretto foam, was really good. It's a lot of ice and a medium sized drink, so you can gauge the value for the price. It wasn't cheap. I probably wouldn't do it again. But it did taste good. The environment is nice. Old train station, high ceilings, charming atmosphere. Old wood floors, old wood moldings, old ceiling. It does look like the windows have been replaced, but they kept the frames. The space has been upgraded while maintaining the charm. Kudos to the person who did it. Fun to see the trains speeding through the station. It's a great option for people waiting for trains or being picked up. One cold brew and one sourdough toast dish with a reasonable tip was over $21.

Well, it has been several years since I've taken what used to be the R5 into the city, and Wayne was usually one of the stops I departed from. However, the girls working were very sweet and helpful when I told them how long it's been, and they proceeded to let me know I could buy a ticket on the ride into town. Oh as for the actual cafe, they had a lot of good looking treats (especially a chocolate chip muffin) but I did hold back and went with a smaller hot cocoa with oat milk. This was less than $5 (still getting adjusted to reasonable prices outside of my current city), and it was very good! Seating was throughout the narrow space, from tables and chairs to an old-school station bench which I took advantage of while I savored my beverage. There was also a separate restroom for men and women. From the barren station it was, someone really took this space and gave it new life. I imagine it's packed during the early weekday commute, but when I visited, it was almost peaceful with just a handful of people. Looks as though they haven't been open for very long, so I wish them success and look forward to the next time I can come by again while in town (and waiting for what I still call the R5).
