New to the neighborhood and trying different small business coffee shops. This place has creative drink choices, but a bit pricier than nearby shops. $6 for a 16 oz latte. They also charge you extra if you order less ice/no ice, but don't tell you that anywhere on the menu or verbally when you order; you would only know if you're paying attention at the register. The latter reason is why I will not be returning. I don't need the extra milk to fill the cup, I just don't want watery latte when I am delivering a drink to a friend. But even if I wanted 2 oz of extra milk in lieu of ice, it surely should not cost ~$2. read more

Morning Talk Cafe - $6 mocha - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Conshohocken, Pennsylvania

Morning Talk Cafe is cute and quaint, with a little kitten kiss. The modern, relaxed decor gives you a nice neighborhood feel. Subtle plant fixtures around the cafe, well-placed menus that are easy to read, and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your beverage and pastries. Morning Talk's beverage menu isn't your everyday average Joe kind of menu. Of course, they have coffee shop classics, but they also offer creative cafe drinks with an asian fusion. Today, I enjoyed trying the Black Tie (a Thai iced tea with a shot of espresso and my choice of coconut milk) and a delicious pumpkin spice crumble cookie. The drink and cookie were a great pair and perfect for a fall day. The owners (staff) are very welcoming and personable. They will cater to your taste buds and lead you to a destination of deliciousness. This cafe is LGBTQ+ friendly. If you're on Fayette St in Conshohocken, PA check out Morning Talk Cafe, you won't be disappointed! read more

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt the need to leave one today. No complaints about the coffee--it was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the girl behind the counter was a different story. She came across as rude, unfriendly, and like she really didn't want to be there. At first, I thought maybe it was just me, but I watched her interact the same way with several other customers that morning. Maybe she hadn't had her morning coffee yet, but a little friendliness and better customer service would go a long way. She could definitely use an attitude adjustment or find somewhere else to work that doesn't require her to interact with the public! read more

Walked in this place for a coffee and was greeted with dirty looks from the barista, no thanks ,

it's adorable. The people were extremely helpful. I was ordering ground coffee for cold brew and I got some homemade items they couldn't have been more helpful. The people in the shop are friendly and I saw a cute dog. It's adorable. read more

How cute! I love this shop with its friendly staff and darling items for sale. I came in for a latte and left with elephant pants! read more

This place is not it. When you walk through the doors, the younger employees give dirty looks and do not greet you upon arrival. They don't listen to your order and are rude. Unfriendly, unpleasant, not worth it. Less than one star. Hire better people. read more

Truly love this place so much. Every drink and bite i've had there has been so delicious, it's my go-to local cafe! The owners & staff are the sweetest people ever, very quick service, and amazing drinks. My favorite lately has been the strawberry matcha! It is a bit small inside, there is a couch and a couple tables, as well as a few outdoor tables. Please check this place out if you're in the area! read more

Morning Talk Cafe - menus on the wall - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Conshohocken, Pennsylvania

Cute little spot to grab a drink with a friend or two. Very cozy inside and our drinks were ready very quickly. I didn't eat anything but the treats/pastries looked great (gluten-free options were available!) read more

Very cute coffee shot in downtown Conshy. Very small, with limited seating so depending one when you come, there may not be seating. I'm not shy about my love for Dunkin, which I know is basic and the total opposite of a place like Morning Talk, but I enjoyed coming here with a coworker for a coffee meeting. I didn't get a coffee because I saw iced Thai Milk Tea with brown sugar boba and I was sold. read more

Morning Talk Cafe - Iced Thai Milk Tea with brown sugar boba - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Conshohocken, Pennsylvania

This place caught my eye because there was a lot of people coming in and out of this establishment. The outdoor dining tables were all filled, so that's a great sign that this place might be worth the visit. The menu prices are high compared to other similar boba shops, but I ordered a rose milk tea with crystal boba with less sugar anyways because I wanted to see what the hubbub was all about. Upon first glance, the rose milk tea has an artificial pink color that didn't exactly appeal to me, but I admit that I did enjoy the drink very much! The rose tea on the top was a beautiful addition and the crystal boba suits the flavor beautifully. I'm not exactly sure if this boba is worth over $7, but I'm glad I tried it. Maybe if I dined in and really got to enjoy the cute decor, I'd appreciate this place more. Friendly, fast service. Overall, cute addition to Conshy, but this place is definitely a splurge. read more

A cute (and very small) coffee shop in West Conshy. This is a must stop if you're in the area or passing through. I got an iced latte with oat milk that was very strong but full of so much flavor. A friend ordered just a iced black coffee. We were both thrilled! read more

Place has the best cappuccinos in the area. Makes Starbucks taste like mud water. The owners are very nice as well

Super cute little place. It was nice they had tables and wifi, as well as outlets for studying! My London fog was good! However, this place is very pricey. But if you're looking for a cute stop to work/study and live nearby, this could be a good spot! read more

I am a Conshy local and absolutely love to support local businesses. Sadly, I will find it difficult to do so with Morning Talk Cafe. The prices are extremely absurd - $8+ for a latte, $3.50 for a 4oz regular coffee, etc etc. In my opinion this is just offensively high. You can get better coffee for 25% cheaper down the street at Perk or Fiene so unless they adjust their prices at Morning Talk, I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Being rather new, this café remains a hidden gem. The ambiance is and the energy is calm unlike other local cafes that feel somewhat frantic; this makes it much more conducive to getting work done if that's your goal. And they have boba, can't go wrong there! It is, however, quite pricey- $7 for a regular sized boba iced tea without just regular milk, hence 4 stars instead of 5. read more

Such a cute shop. The Chai Latte was exactly what I needed in this cold day and loved that they had gluten free options.

8.43$ for a 20oz matcha with regular 2% milk (with a lot of foam.....) Isn't that too much? read more

pretty decent and good espresso, one thing that hurts my feelings is paying 1$ for cold foam and it then turns out to be the one in a can ... plz it makes the pretty good latte so sad read more

My wife and I visited this gem of a place for the first time this morning. We dine frequently in Conshy but it's a bit far to go for coffee each day. We were so impressed that we decided to go more often. We each had a medium-sized cup of cappuccino which was smooth, rich, and perfectly sweetened. It was difficult to choose which of the numerous, decadent pastries to try, but I settled on the avocado toast and my wife tried the chicken pot pie. I'm not sure if the pot pie was on the menu but since my wife didn't want anything too fattening, it was made special for her! The cafe has three tables, a nice couch, and about three high stools which overlook Fayette Street. The owner/manager of Morning Talk is a wonderful, gracious woman who made sure everything was to our liking. The rest of the staff were also happy, pleasant, and great as well. I was told that we could order off the menu from the next-door menu of Chiang Mai if we wished. What a novel concept! Since the pastry I had was quite filling, having an early lunch would have been too much. But next time? Yes! I highly recommend this rather new shop if you want excellent coffee and great service. Such a nice way to begin your day! read more

Super cute new spot in Conshy. Offers a variety of teas (including popular Thai specialties), pastries and coffee staples. My husband made a few trips since it opened in mid-June, including bringing home an apple pastry and Nutella muffin, which were both delicious. I went for the first time today and the interior is intelligently designed, clean, and a very efficient use of a small space. The mango black tea I ordered was very well done (easy concept but difficult to get right). Good luck - I hope this shop becomes as much of a Conshy fixture as Chiangmai has been these years! read more
