Merenda Box is a great little pastry shop in the downtown area Conshohocken. Virtually all street parking but there is a lot of availability. I saw a lot of locals just walk in. It is Brazilian inspired and I imagine the owner is from Brazil. The pastries were top notch made fresh and a great variety. The staff were friendly and was able to get my order in a timely manner. Definitely a great place to stop in and get some unique and different pastries.

Pao de queijo (cheese bread ball) These are sadly the worst I've had in my life. Deflated, dry, stale. $1.50 a piece.

I was ecstatic when I saw a Brazilian bakery was opening up, and stalked them on Instagram for months. I grew up around Latin bakeries and felt the dearth when I moved here. Unfortunately, this place was a miss. The pao de queijo was, for lack of a better word, terrible. They were sadly deflated and looked like chicken nuggets. I still ordered them ($1.50 a piece) to give them a try and they were so dry and stale. The guava roll was also dry and stale, but edible since it was drenched in guava sauce, which by itself was pretty good. The guava cookie was the best of the three items I ordered, but quite mushy. Service also seemed untrained. I asked questions about what's in certain drinks, but the employee didn't know any of the answers. She brought someone else over, who was able to answer, thankfully, but neither seemed like they had tried most of the items so they couldn't really give recommendations. I really hope this place improves, as they just recently opened, and succeeds.

Merenda is a good place to grab pastéis (pastries) near the SRT. My usual is an empada (or 2) with coffee to enjoy outside. Service is usually friendly and prompt.

Merenda Box is amazing. What a great addition to the neighborhood. The space is beautifully decorated and designed. Staff was friendly, prices were reasonable. I tried the Doce de leite latte, queijo wafflewich, cachorro asado, brigadeiro, rosca de coco. The pastries were buttery and flaky. Not dry. The flavors were just incredible. My new weekend spot!!!

Love this little shop/bakery. I came for the pastel de nada custard pastry. I was very late in the day when I arrived so not too surprised. But I did get a bunch of churro truffles, chorizo wrapped in pastry dough and a ham and cheese. Fantastic.

Lovely and super helpful service! We got the recommended waffle-wiches with Brazilian sausage and Nutella filled sonhos - both delicious!! The cafe itself had a light and playful aesthetic.

The cutest and most delicious addition to the neighborhood. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It's a pleasure stopping in here. All of the pastries are incredible and the breakfast sandwiches are to die for. Especially the waffle breakfast sandwich. You really can't go wrong with anything!!! I will say the coffee drinks are a bit too sweet for my palette. But highly recommend supporting this small local business!

Cute little Brazilian bakery with delicious coffee, beverages, and treats! Staff is always pleasant and happy to help and work well together to get individuals in and out quickly due to the small space. While I was looking forward (more) to their sweet items, I have found I enjoy their savory items even more! Definitely recommend the empadas. The shrimp is lovely and I find the bamboo shoot is similar to a marinated artichoke in taste - I'm a fan! My go to drink has been the guava breeze. Both hot and iced were delicious. I also tried my husband's doce de latte which was great! If looking for a sweet treat, the brigaderos were definitely great! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Nice small bakery with a Brazilian twist. The dolce de latte was very good for a warm drink. The mortadella and cheese sandwich was a good choice for a brunchy option.

The music is great, the energy is welcoming, and the staff truly makes the experience special. Azlyn makes the coffee, and she is so caring, kind, and focused. I love seeing young people who take pride in their work. she's a sweetheart and always professional. And then there's Rachel; my girl, the Biscuit Pusher . She's a ray of sunshine with such great customer service. She remembers me every time, and her energy is just unmatched. I might have to get her a pin that says Biscuit Pusher because she owns that title! The cashiers are friendly, management is attentive, and they genuinely want you to have a great experience. If there's ever an issue, they fix it right away. Tara, the owner, is amazing. Even when she's busy, she makes it a point to check on guests and ask how everything is going. She makes suggestions to make your biscuit sandwich selection go to another level. That level of engagement goes a long way. The quality of the biscuit is always on point. My only issue is that they tend to fall apart when you try to pick them up. I usually have to eat mine with a fork because they crumble so easily. I'd love if they could adjust the texture just a bit so they hold together better. If they did, they'd be perfect! If you haven't gone yet, get there. Let me know how your experience was. I'd love to hear.

The biscuits for their sandwiches are flakier and much better. If you think you have twenty-years left to live, you might want to knock out a few things on your bucket list before ordering. They have a sign that says something like this isn't fast food and there isn't anything fast here at all. The staff and customers all agree with that slogan. No one is hiding it. A few weekends ago, we waited over 45 minutes like idiots for our food. I had a $50 gift card, most went to this meal, and I was ready to walk out. Sadly, I didn't complain to management, because the line was longer than the line to order food. They said refunds would take one week and the people who said they really would never come back, had the managers get their food quicker than ours. It's an interesting business strategy to ensure the angry customers who won't return got their food first, but I get it. If less people frequent this place, then the lines won't be as long. They even said there was no manager on duty. Anyone watching the staff work would know that no one was lying. No utensils, napkins at the tables, just people sitting there waiting for their to-go order and then freeing a table later. If you are one of those weekend people with nothing to do until you have some structure at work on Monday, this is the perfect place to waste most of your day, to get you that much closer to work. Sweet treats are alright, nothing special. Breakfast sandwich could be worth it, but you could also go to the worst grocery store in town and make your own better biscuit and sandwich in the amount of time you have to wait. $8 left on our gift card and in a perfect world I'll misplace it.

We were seated quickly, and from the jump, the staff was on point--attentive, friendly, and knew that menu like the back of their hand. Real ones who make you feel welcome without hovering. The artwork throughout the dining area really stood out--elegant and thoughtfully curated. It added to the atmosphere in a way that made the whole experience feel intentional and artistic without being pretentious. Now the food? Fire. Every dish was well-prepared and bursting with flavor. The homemade vinaigrette was one of those small details that made a big impression. I had the duck breast--tender, flavorful, and plated like they cared. My girl went with the zucchini omelet and potatoes, and let's just say... I definitely helped her finish it. This spot serves up breakfast with a more refined twist. It's not your average eggs-and-bacon joint, and the pricing reflects that--about $35 each--but the quality matches the tag. You're paying for fresh, high-level ingredients and a well-thought-out experience. Pros: Flavor that hits, fresh ingredients, standout service. Cons: Seating's a little tight, and the menu leans more gourmet--so if you're hunting for pancakes or a simple bagel, you might be outta luck. Definitely recommend for a weekend treat or a chill brunch date with a little flair.

The restaurant itself is super cute and cozy, with a welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive. Service was impressively quick, especially for a busy brunch. I had the zucchini omelette with goat cheese on the side--it was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The side potatoes had a nice crisp to them, and the chocolate croissant was a standout: freshly made, perfectly flaky, and well-balanced in sweetness. My significant other had the chicken salad, which was paired with a light, fresh vinaigrette that tied everything together beautifully. He also tried the duck, which was tender, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try. It's affordable yet feels like a higher-end brunch experience--perfect for a casual date or a special morning out.
