I love the authenticity and welcoming atmosphere. It doesn't matter what day or time, it's a great spot to hangout. They have lots of food and drink options as well as great deserts. I like it because I can always find something on the menu that I've never tried before. The staff are always extremely nice. And, the wait is not very long. The second you walk through the door, you're in Brazil. You're greeted by the flag and a the famous Rio De Janeiro photo with the Christ the Redeemer statue. The barista (who I'm guessing is the owner) was very sweet and wanted to make sure she got our drinks exact. The pastries look authentic and she serves an array of Brazilian teas like Mate. I wanted to try Mate, but I ordered matcha instead. Was in a matcha mood. If I'm still in town I'll return and try the Mate (I've been warned by Brazilian friends that traditional Mate is quite sweet). OMG the matcha latte was just what I wanted. It was tame and soothing. Not strong or pungent. The cheese pastry I had was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. My friend said the Brazilian hot chocolate was also exceptional. We enjoyed the cultural ambience with bossa nova music and woodsy decor. This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Philly! read more

With actual Brazilian lanchonete-type foods (pão de queijo fresh from the oven, coxinhas, etc.) and delectable coffee creations like the bombom (an espresso with sweetened condensed milk)-- I was in heaven. I'll have to come back later for the full Brazilian meals they also make in-house (tapioca crepes? Prato feito?!). My one disappointment: there was no way for my other half to get in as it is not wheelchair-accessible. I had to take our treats out to the car. We'll definitely be back, especially in warmer weather where we can sit at the sidewalk tables. If these guys could buy a ramp, I'd slap a star onto my review. Bom d+! read more

Brazilian cheese bread- good taste but ICE cold and slightly hard Casa pastel- Great taste of the little bit of filling I got Vanilla custard donut- please compare the photo of others have posted with a donut filled with light vanilla custard with what I got....mine was like thick paste, old dough...inedible Tres leches- I love Tre Leches, I always get it and have made it several times. This was swimming in thin milk. I literally think they sliced the cake, put it in the container and pour in the milk. It was a 1/2 deep of milk. read more

Cafe Com Leite has quickly become my favorite spot in Phoenixville. For starters, it's always open! Well...almost always: always when I want coffee, something sweet, something savory, nice service. Other spots in town are closed during the week, take forever to make a to-go coffee, and don't offer nearly the amount and variety of delicious food, from small bites and pastries to full-blown meals. The service doesn't get much better than Cafe Com Leite. Their staff are always super friendly, super attentive, and quick to be helpful. It's SO appreciated! The space itself is inviting and bright. There is free wifi and variety of seating set-ups, making it easy to accommodate small groups. I'll note, however, if you're looking for a quite space: bring head phones! There is always chatter and music playing, and depending out how busy it is on your visit, the acoustics aren't the best for focus. I find myself craving their sweet breads and dreaming about their coffee daily. If I go bankrupt, this spot will be a main culprit. Don't sleep on Cafe Com Leite. They charge an extra dollar for milk variations-- pretty steep when others in the neighborhood either don't charge or charge .50. Service is good. We heard about the opening of a new Brazilian café in Phoenixville and decided to give it a try. It's on south Main street, close to Bridge street. The store is very clean and welcoming. We didn't really know much about the food there and were a little overwhelmed with all the pastries and selections. A young host approaches and spent time going through all the different items on display and in the menu. We ordered several different types of pastries and some coffee drink. I was not impressed by the food at all. I had the Roca breakfast sandwich which was okay, but $14 for a breakfast sandwich with mediocre flavor was crazy. Also had the Romeo & Juliet pastry and it was a bit stale and flavor was unimpressive. I like the looks of the inside of the restaurant but the noise level was LOUD. Bean grinding(?), espresso steaming, music playing and people talking is not my preference. I want to be able to chat with my companion and not yell. read more

My husband and I tried Cafe Com Leite last Saturday morning. The place was bustling, which was a great sign. I ordered the house omelette and it was delicious. The portion size was just enough, and the meat and cheese combo was perfect. My husband ordered the Cafe Com Leite latte. He said it was very good. Below is a picture of some of the Brazilian desserts in one of the display cases. We ordered one of each item for our family to try after dinner. Each was tasty in their own right. Best authentic Brazilian gem in Pennsylvania. Many people have tried bringing the delicious delicacies from Brazil - Salted and sweets . Also the amazing plates ! I highly recommend the coxinha with catupiry, esfiha de carne, risoles de queijo. For a really cool experience, ask for the pastel de feira- it is a fried dough filled with cheese, or meat. You can't go wrong . Brigadeiros and beijinhos até a must in sweets. As well as all of their incredible breads . Pão de queijo and authentic coffee will make you want to stay there for hours.
