The town itself is quaint and charming, and the restaurant fits right in, clean, bright and a great size. We arrived at the perfect time and were seated within minutes. The staff was genuinely friendly, which made everything feel even more welcoming. I ordered an egg‑white omelette with shrimp, crab meat, and avocado on top, absolutely amazing. It came with hash browns, which were decent, though I've had more flavorful ones elsewhere with multigrain toast on the side. My husband enjoyed a salad topped with a crab-cake, he thought it was pretty good. The menu overall was surprisingly diverse, with plenty of healthy options, which made us very happy. Nudy's was exactly what we needed on a Friday morning. It's the perfect balance of a diner experience, but elevated. There is something on the menu for everyone. Pretty good food, have gotten it through DoorDash a handful of times, and have tried a different location as well. Bacon is crispy, eggs are done well, and pretty good options overall. Nice too that they offer gluten-free pancakes, which isn't always available. I've also confirmed that they have a separate section for gluten-free in order to prevent cross-contamination, and they clean everything well. I would call to ask about waffles, though - they can make them with gluten-free batter, but might use the same iron as regular waffles. read more

First, easy parking access right across the street made this a no brainer to try. Upon entering the staff was welcoming and the surroundings cozy and bright! It was packed by 9:30 on Saturday so that's always a good sign! Menu is extensive - lots of options for the pickiest of eaters and the food snobs too! Ate here three times on my recent work trip. Solid food and fast, friendly service. They have a large, open space that is nicer than a standard diner without being pretentious. My colleague enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches and the omelets (he got the farmer's omelet twice). I ate pancakes one day and got the grilled sticky bun from the al-a-carte menu two other days. IMO, it is hard to be a fresh, warm, grilled sweet bread. We never got around to trying lunch and they aren't open dinner hours, so I can't speak to the non-breakfast options. The menu seems extensive, though, and I'm sure you could find something to enjoy. read more

After a gruelling CrossFit workout, this was just what the doctor ordered. Was looking for a nice diner for a good Sunday brunch and Nudys was just that. My wife had the banana walnut pancake (I'm on a sugar break) and I had the California Benedict with french fries vs home fries. The pancake had the right amount of sweetness, right amount of fluffiness and a right amount of banana and walnut amalgamation. She rated it right up there. I thought the Benedict was good as well. TBH it's tough to screw this one up but I've seen it happen. Overall a solid 5 and definitely a place I'll visit again. read more

4 of us came in looking for a table at 10:45am on a Friday and were seated right away. Super cute space with good food! The service was good and the food came out quick. They had a ton of breakfast options. I opted for the apple cake french toast. It was okay. Pretty dense. I'm glad I tried it but I probably wouldn't get it again. I liked that for $5.99 you could add on 2 eggs & a breakfast meat. I did that and it was worth it. Their scrambled eggs were flavorful. I had the chipped beef over toast with home fries. Wasn't the best that I have had, but it was still pretty good. The home fries were shredded and just crispy enough, which was nice. Great coffee. Bagels were delicious. Service was a bit strange. Had to explain what I meant by coffee with a shot of espresso, sometimes called a red eye. They said that was not on the menu. I had to ask if they had coffee...yes. I then asked if they had espresso..again, yes. I had to be up early, well early for me, for a 9:15 blood test where I couldn't eat beforehand. We decided to get breakfast afterward since it was still somewhat earlyish when we left, about 9:45-10:00. Decided to come here because my husband rushed me to pick a place and this came to my mind because my friend was just talking about it. The wait was about 10 minutes which wasn't too bad. The place is pretty big. They have a big menu. You have to ask for straws if you want them, they don't automatically give them to you. Unless our waitress just forgot them. I was hoping to see more options for fancy coffee drinks like speciality flavored cappuccinos or lattes. They just had basic coffee so I ordered a cold brew. Came with free refills which was nice. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake French toast. It was actually smaller than I expected, just 2 slices of toast that weren't really that thick either. It came with fresh strawberries, but I think it should have had a strawberry compote along with the strawberry slices to really enhance the flavor. It was also supposed to be stuffed with ricotta cream cheese but I didn't really see any. Was going to ask our waitress or send it back but then I saw something that looked like whipped cream in the middle that had a faint cream cheese taste to it. I don't know if that was supposed to be plain whipped cream or the ricotta cream, but by this point I was halfway done my meal so I wasn't going to question it. I ordered eggs and sausage with it as well, which were ok. Also my eggs and sausage came out first and I didn't get my French toast until about 5 minutes later. My husband ordered the cinnamon bun French toast which was pretty good. I liked his better than mine. But I think his could have used some kind of cream cheese filling or nut topping. Overall the breakfast was ok but nothing special, but kinda pricey for the amount of food you get. Especially when they skimp or forget the fillings inside the French toast. read more

Very nice breakfast experience in this new Conshohocken restaurant. It was packed due to the MLK Holiday but we were seated promptly within 10 minutes. Everything we tried was very good. I enjoyed my chipped beef. It was nit salty as in other places my scrapple side was excellent, crunchy on the outside creamy inside. The hash browns were also good and not salted which I liked. My grandson's chicken fingers and fries were excellent, very crispy and well made. My wife enjoyed her spinach and provolone omelet which was very tasty but she said it was not as hot as she would have liked. My daughter loved her French toast and crispy bacon side. The garden salad ordered by my son in law was fresh and nicely presented. The prices are reasonable and the food was solid. I would love to come back on a less hectic day. read more

Ray Nudy is a second generation restauranteur whose 12 comfortable breakfast/lunch locations are perfect for satisfying meals. His Nudy's Cafes have been open and expanding in southeastern PA since 1979. Almost embarrassed to admit that yesterday was my first visit to any of them. I stopped in their Conshohocken Lafayette Street kitchen for a late breakfast. They operate in a large high ceiling room with half wall divided spaces for tables, and booths against one outer wall, if that is your preference. The menu has most of the usual suspects, with particular attention to several varieties of french toast. That's where I was heading, and went with their traditional three slice offering, with maple syrup upgrade and fresh brewed coffee. It was excellent. It arrived with plenty of caramelization for crisp edges, and a delicious mix of egg, sugar and vanilla extract that enhanced the flavor and texture, and a dusting of powdered sugar/cinnamon. A mini bottle of pure light amber maple syrup accompanied the large white ceramic plate. After spreading the melting butter, followed by the pouring of rich brown syrup, it was ready for sampling. It was the best french toast I have had in a long time. Service was also above expectations. Friendly, interactive and professional, with prompt coffee refills and timely bussing. Too bad Nudy's isn't in Bucks County yet, because all locations are worth exploring. Given the quality of their product, it shouldn't be long before they secure kitchens closer to home. read more

Being stuck in a hotel room for a mandatory work quarantine, you find it hard to get a good meal before 4pm. Nudy's Cafe was recommended from the front desk. I called, placed a breakfast order, the gentleman that answered was above polite. Parking was readily available. The building was nice, clean and well put together. I entered, picked up, paid and got cream and sugar to go for my coffee. Omg these pancakes were soooo fluffy and delicious and huge! They absorbed the butter and tasted like perfection. I know that brunch was designed for people who sleep in, but that's when everyone goes. I'm also up so early on the weekends, while my wife hibernates for awhile... Fortunately, I made her a LabCorp appointment for early in the morning, and we decided to get food. Honestly, I wanted to try Wendy's new breakfast, but since it was a normal time, we decided to try Nudy'. We had to wait a few minutes and this place was packed. Once we were seated in a side room, we reviewed all of the offerings. I had my mind set on two things, until a discussion with our server told me that the cinnamon bun french toast was one of their number one sellers. Okay, I'm in. My wife went with the strawberry cheesecake french toast, which I considered as my meal, since I thought she would want it. Victory me... The food came out somewhat fast, but my wife had to wait a bit for her french toast, which arrived a few minutes after everything else did. It was very rude, so I figured when in Rome, and I started my meal. She had some too... It was pretty good. Hers was too when it came out. Wasn't super impressed by the drinks/coffees. I loved the way the building was laid out. I know a lot of people that love this company and went to other ones. It's a decent option and I'd return with some friends if they were having a special occasion... Not going to rush back and who knows when we would return, but I'd assume we'd come back again. read more

The food is very good but unfortunately we can never go back. At both the Havertown and Ardmore locations, we experienced the most horrible smell for the duration of our meal. An incredibly strong, revolting bleach-like odor that burned our noses and made us lose our appetite. We learned from a waitress that the owner insists on using Fabuloso to clean daily which leaves a sickening smell. It literally triggered asthma for multiple members of our party. They really need to fix this!!! read more
