Western Burger*

Popular local spot serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have lunch specials and some daily specials. Lindsey our waitress was so attentive and helpful and was a mover . The Western Birger was a good choice, perfectly grilled seasoned burger smothered with cheese, bacon , grilled onions and bbq sauce served with a side of crispy beer battered onion rings made the lunch complete. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the area.

Good food man. It's breakfast but it's actually good! The atmosphere is old Chicago lighting has a bar!! They have cute little Xmas trees everywhere right now. The eggs Benedict was great! Hollandaise sauce was great and the egg was perfect! Service was good and fast! Only complaint was the kids happy face pancake didn't have a happy face? It was a Mickey style pancake ? But that's okay my son was just looking forward to a face reveal lol. We will be back!! I found that this is one of the better breakfast spots over Baja cafe or Jerry bobs!

Chili Burger. Delicious. Huge portion - can easily feed two people. Fried are great too.

I finally made it to Grumpy's Restaurant, and honestly--I wish I hadn't waited so long. Living on Tucson's East Side, it's a bit of a drive, but after hearing so many glowing recommendations, I had to see what the buzz was about. It turns out Grumpy's has been quietly building a stellar reputation through years of hard work and consistency--and it shows. The food and service were outstanding. I'd heard great things about their chili and burgers, so I went with the open-face chili burger--and wow. It was absolutely delicious: hearty, flavorful, and generously portioned. Honestly, it could have fed two people easily. But the real standout? The wings. Phenomenal doesn't even begin to describe them. These might just be the best wings in Tucson--perfectly sized, with crispy skin, zero greasiness, and just the right amount of heat. Spicy enough to satisfy, but not so hot that you lose the flavor of the chicken. They alone are worth the drive. What really sets Grumpy's apart is its authentic, local vibe--the exact opposite of a big chain restaurant. There's no glitz here. No tablecloths, no fancy BS. This is where you go for great food. It's a genuine kind of place where regulars fill the tables and the staff recognizes them. The menu is full of no-nonsense American comfort food choices. I'm already planning my next visit--breakfast is on my list. Highly recommended.

We made it to Grumpy's twice while vacationing in Tucson, AZ. The first time was for breakfast. It was on a Sunday morning and the place was super busy. Grumpy's is located in a strip mall and the outside looks as if it's a store, but then you walk in and it's a really nice restaurant. The staff couldn't be nicer. Even with a number of people waiting, it was well organized and moved well. Our second time there was for an early dinner and it was just as nice. The food was good both time (forgot to take pictures).

Grumpy's is one of our go to spots. Close by and they have great food, it's very consistent. We also feel it's very affordable on the pocketbook. Service is amazing and we feel like there's very little turn over with the staff, there's always familiar smiles welcoming us. The restaurant is very clean and looks just like what you'd expect with a diner, comfortable booths too

The Prep Omelette was seriously so delicious and seasoned to perfection. It was well balanced and cooked well. The potatoes! YUM! They were crispy but still soft. The toast and jam...that jam is to die for! Husband enjoyed his french toast and fruit, as well! We were both very impressed. Service was good too, I was never in need of anything, and my coffee was filled when I needed it! It was also very clean and wasn't overly expensive. The donuts and pop tarts in the case looked amazing, but we didn't try them. Next time! What a gem you have here! Highly recommend!

Every dish we have tried has been fresh, tasty and great presentation. They always have a diverse spread of pastries so we grab a few to take home. All of their pastries have been amazing. My favorite is their cronut and the raspberry pop tart. Lastly and maybe most importantly, is their delicious drinks. I love the butterfly pea mimosa! Their butterfly pea palmer is great as well. YUMMY! Their service is always great. Attentive and friendly servers. The ambiance is lovely as well- very welcoming, nicely decorated and a bright open space. The patio is quite large and dog friendly. One of the best brunch spots around- we look forward to coming back.

I wouldn't say that it is top of the line cooking, but it is very delicious and definitely worth a visit this side of town. Parking can be a little challenging, they do share a parking lot with other businesses, but close in, there are not that many spots. Service is always friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Also, the plates are enormous, so you'll definitely have some leftovers. If you're near the airport and looking for breakfast, skip Denny's and Waffle House and opt for Sunny Daze. The price point is the same (actually probably better), so you just get way more bang for your buck. Easy choice.

Teaspoon is one of the best overall restaurants in Tucson…read more I've been here a few times over the last year or so. It has never disappointed in service, quality or taste. (well once in taste, but I'll get to that) They have great in-house made items. Like the Challa bread, the preserves, their pesto. They most certainly know what they're doing. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. I love food too, and I love here. Try this place. Today.

As a whole, I feel like the side pairing of challah toast with jam and butter is an odd choice. I also ordered the iced Thai tea, which was quite weak. Overall--I wasn't really feeling it. When you go to Teaspoon, you're really paying for ambience over quality. There's no issue with the service here, from hosts to wait staff. The food is simply underwhelming, and thus so is the experience. I wouldn't be mad to return, but I don't know if this would ever be my suggestion.

We came during May, when it starts to get warm, but he did well since there is a good amount of shade out on their patio and they provided a nice big water bowl for our special boy. The staff also were kind enough to move one of our chairs out of the way so our dog had lots of room to lay down. Staff were all very kind and never seemed annoyed with the dog (you can always tell at a restaurant if they are, and they were very happy to accommodate him). Very dog friendly!! The food: We gotta talk about their French onion soup. It was pretty dang delicious! The broth itself is quite nice, a nice cheese portion, and the baguette was divine. I also had their French Connection sandwich (with a side of fries), and it had a great combo of ooey, gooey cheese, firm and flavorful ham, and served on a really delicious loaf. Really solid fries, too. We didn't end up getting any drinks but saw several people ordering yummy looking bites. If (but likely when) we come back to Tucson, I'm making a point to return to Cup Cafe!
