Groutsmith came out and evaluated the condition of my shower and scheduled a technician come out and perform the work. The color match was essentially 1:1 and while the grout install made it more finicky - requiring multiple visits, I was satisfied with the outcome. Groutsmith's technicians are very professional, clean up after themselves and pride themselves on good work. It was not the cheapest option, but I think it was money well spent and in general I can rest easy because they stand by their work and if it isn't up to par - they'll rectify it to the best of their ability. I evaluated other companies and I'm glad I went with Groutsmith for my groutwork. Once I have other groutwork - I'll be calling back The Groutsmith.

Not only does he work wonders on our carpets, but these past couple of days, he stepped in as a true hero when our furry family member had an unexpected health issue. When my husband reached out to Jason, without hesitation, he rearranged his busy schedule to come to our rescue. We were not only worried about the stains and odors but also concerned about the safety of my elderly mother, as the buckling of the floor had become a safety issue, as there was just too much pee in the carpet padding that affected the underlying hardwood floors. As soon as Jason arrived, his warm smile and comforting presence instantly put us at ease. He understood the distress it caused and reassured us that everything would be taken care of. He then got right to work by skillfully pulling up the carpet, replacing the padding, and diligently fixing the buckling problem. The transformation was truly remarkable. Not only did Jason make the carpets look beautiful, but he also ensured a secure and stable flooring surface. The peace of mind it brought us, especially in regard to my mother's safety, cannot be overstated. He went above and beyond, treating and cleaning the affected areas. I also continue to be in awe of not only Jason's technical prowess but also the genuine care he ALWAYS shows towards our furry family members. Being an animal lover, this was something I noticed the first time he came. His authentic love for animals was evident in every interaction, and especially this time, with our dog's health issues, brought us immense comfort. I CANNOT RECOMMEND JASON ENOUGH. His exceptional skills, coupled with his kindness and compassion, make him a true hero. He not only saved our carpets but also provided solace and support when we needed it the most. She explained everything that needed to be done and why. Based on her obvious expertise and thoroughness, we decided on the spot to have the work done ASAP by Grout Medic. The price quoted seemed fair, and the proposal explained all work to be done in detail. About a week later a gent named Leo from Grout Medic showed up on time to do the work. Leo was polite and considerate, and took pains to protect our new wood flooring downstairs and carpeting upstairs. Leo explained how he would proceed, and took about 4 hours working straight through. Bottom line is that we are very happy with the work. Our shower/toilet room looks like new! The tile shines, grout looks great, and the natural stone floor looks so nice. And a sealer was applied to the grout and stone floor to protect. As very satisfied customers, we highly recommend The Grout Medic!

It looked so awful that I had doubted it could ever look close to good. Allan from the Grout Father arrived at 10:45 and assured me that he could make the grout whatever color I wanted. Even though the grout looked black, he suggested white to match the tiles. After 5+ hours of hard work Allan took a floor I considered tearing out and made it look almost new. My husband & I could not believe the transformation, which was truly amazing! Now Allan did have to come back the next day to touch the grout up but only because it was nearly black when he started and changing it back to white was arduous. But he arrived with a smile and took care of the issues immediately. I cannot sing his praises higher.

We had a tricky flooring issue with about three and a half inches of drop in some areas and met with a few general contractors who mostly complained about how hard it would be. Robert actually took the time to understand the problem instead of trying to upsell us. He showed up about 15 minutes early, reviewed the situation, asked the right questions and set clear expectations for what realistically needed to happen. We got a clear, no pressure quote and an honest game plan. Easy to work with and someone I'd absolutely work with again. There is a reason they have 5 star review on Yelp and Google.

Long version is that both tubs were ruined by living in this house 21 years which made them dingy, my mother in law's assisted chair set up which scratched up the bottoms, and our teenagers dying their hair which set black and blue color permanently into the scratches. One tub was acrylic and the other was metal, (determined by me testing a magnet). They both looked really bad and dingy and I was pretty concerned that the metal one was bound to start rusting out with continued use. The tubs looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years even after a deep cleaning. There was no shine. I was embarrassed to have guests use the restrooms, as there's absolutely nothing you can do to hide a bathtub. So I read a lot of reviews and got a few quotes. OBR had a good price to begin with plus they offered a 10% cash discount. I also liked the idea that they were so confident about the finish not yellowing. I have a few re coated tubs in a rental property that have held up over the past 25 years but they have yellowed over time and are ugly. I'm going to invest in having OBR redo those tubs in the near future. I only needed to do the insides. The outsides still looked shiney and new. Serge recommend that I let him remove the drain kit so the white coating did not get on that metal and that gave me the opportunity to run over and buy new drain kits (for about $25 ea) and that was the finishing touch. Both tubs now look BRAND NEW and have a very glossy, almost wet, looking finish. I am thrilled with the end result and feel I most definitely made the best choice in hiring these guys. I wasnt too concerned about the potential smell but if you are, the process is indeed odorless. Serge told me it might take around 6 hours but it actually took about 4.5 hours for him to do both tubs. I had left him home while I was out and had to come back sooner than expected since he finished early, and he was very gracious waiting for me to return. The coating only takes 1 day to cure. A+ experience all the way around.
