I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I would recommend Louie anytime! So based on the good reviews on Yalp, I hired Louie to patch up our backsplash with tiles, because we replaced the microwave range with a more powerful range hood ,and as a result the backsplash needed to be patched up where the microwave height was. These guys are great! They reattached and regrouted several tiles in my downtown condo shower that had loosened. It is actually not as easy as it sounds, as the tiles are attached to concrete. I cannot say enough about how fantastic Groutfix is!! Louis is a perfectionist! We had several sinks in need of new caulking and a master shower with grout that had discolored, as well as caulking in the shower that never looked clean anymore. We'd had someone more upscale come in to give us a bid and while that would have probably worked out, the price had us looking for options. Louie was able to give me a bid over email after I sent him measurements and pictures (+10,000 for convenience). The bid was very reasonable and reviews were good, so we booked him for the job. He installed tile we'd purchased online and left us with a gorgeous kitchen back-splash (on three walls) and new hearth for our fireplace. Loui came by my house in a short notice and looked at the water issue in my shower that runs through the tile into the cement board (hardie-backer). He told me to try reseal and regrout first before having the shower wall redone (as per 3 other contractors suggestions). And thanks to his suggestion, problem was as simple as resealing the tile (house is ~50 years old) likely because the previous owner never maintained the house well. Reseal and (minor) regrout costed me $100 instead of $1500 redoing the shower. read more
