I came into the groove the other day to do some shopping ( I loved this store ) up until yesterday. I walked in about 1 minute later I was approached and told I had to leave and put my purse in my care or up at the front while I shop because of there policy on big bags( never had an issue before)I have never gone into the store before and have been asked to leave my purse. I proceeded to tell the lady that's ok I just want this top right here and I'll leave. I went up to the register and proceeded to pay for the top. As I walked out of the store the sensor thing by the door went off. They all stared at me so I gave the the bag back to check for sensors. There was nothing on there so the lady then assumes and looks at my purse and thinks I was shoplifting. So I dumped my purse on there floor in from of customers and the employees and dumped all my stuff out of my purse. It was embarrassing and degrading. Why would I shoplift when I am a repeat customer and have an account with them. Also why would I leave my 4,000 dollar hand bag in the car while I shop and I don't trust strangers/staff enough to hold it either. I then called back and asked to speak with the manager and they acted like they cared but I have yet to get a call back. It's sad to see the way they are treating female customers. This is the first bad experience Iv had with them. Iv never felt so humiliated. The staff did not yield to me allowing to shop. The lady allowed to grab one item and escorted me to the front. Secondly if I had not emptied my bag or tried to walk out you and I both know they would have treated me like I was a shoplifter and not allow me to leave. It would have been humiliating either way. If you choose to now to enforce this policy you need to put a sign more in eye view or eye catching for people to see and maybe have a locker or two to put a purse in. One thing I know for sure is that you, yourself wouldn't leave a 4000 hand bag in a vehicle while shopping and no way would you leave it with staff members whom you do not know. It does suck I have to find a different place to shop at now and I'm bummed and as I see you as a business owner will take no fault or you seem to not care about customer service unless it seems to fit you with a good review. read more

I would love to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT TO SOME PRETTY DAMN AWESOME CHICKS THAT WORK FOR GROOVE. Today was my and my husband's first visit to the store.. Groove ( Gilbert location, adult store.) They made me feel not only comfortable but like I've known them forever. I have been to a few in my time and hated it. I always felt weird or wrong. Those who know me know I am a loud, dirty mouth girl. But people don't know I am also very uncomfortable talking about sex. Well my own sex. The moment we walked in I was comfortable and I wasn't even approached. They didn't stalk or hound me. In fact I ended seeking them out for help. They are so knowledgeable and even talked my questions through with each other to give me the best advice. And they did. I even asked them a rather akward question. They got me the answer and even wrote it down. And at the end of our visit they even had me proud of my choice in toys. Just amazing. Again I'm a dirty mouth girl with huge sexual hang ups ( yeah I see the irony) but not today! Thanks girls. Kinda feeling empowered. So Jade, Jess, Lauren, and Christina. You really helped me more than you probably understand. I have some playing to do, but to all you people looking to get your grove on and be that dirty girl go to Groove. Toys are not just for kids!! Definitely will only ever go there. You sexy, kind dirty girls are my people for sure!! Thank you! Gina F read more

Groove is such a great place. It was our first visit and from the moment we walked in the door we were greeted and offered assistance. The staff is extremely friendly, kind and understanding of their customers needs. The atmosphere is welcoming and doesn't have a creepy back-door arcade vibe like some of the places we've been. The store is clean and it is easy to maneuver through the store and not bump into shelves or clothing racks. No clutter, extremely organized. They have a plethora of clothing from dance wear to lingerie and robes. I was pleased to find dance wear. I attend pole fittness classes at a studio and it is difficult to find clothes that work well with my needs in gear without having to strip down to my undies and sports bra in class. I found several outfits including nightwear and some sexy little number to wear for him. They have a great selection and variety of toys and lubricants, pheromone spray, bachelorette gear, and much more! They have a broader selection than any other stores I've gone to and seem like a much more Upscale version of Fascinations. We purchased over $100 in clothing and another $100 on bedroom accessories. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. If you check in on Yelp you also get a 10% discount as well as Military and Dancers. We will see you all soon, thanks for helping us have one sexy Saturday! read more

My husband and I stopped by Groove last Sunday and had a fantastic shopping experience! This is a classy, chic store in a lovely little shopping plaza with kind and helpful staff, the perfect selection of merchandise and great prices. The shop has wood floors and creative shelving with great lighting and a welcoming layout. A truly beautiful selection of lingerie is on the left, books and various sensual/play items are toward the back, and vibrators, pleasure devices, and bath/body/lubricant products are on the right. While other local stores may have more merchandise, 70% of what they carry is tacky, gimmicky, blister packed crap. Groove passed on the crap and has stocked their shelves with products that are worth buying; they also have unique items that can be difficult to find elsewhere. While this shop carries some of the nicest high end vibrators available, they also offer a selection of the best budget friendly options on the market. Sometimes stores of this type are creepy, but absolutely not Groove. Groove is to romantic stores what Restoration Hardware is to home goods, and going forward it's the only romantic store we'll be shopping at. read more

This was the first time I've ever been to a Groove store and I had an amazing experience. All of the ladies at the front greeted me at the door when I came in. But one person that really stood out was Lyric; she offered to help me right away even though she was busy working on products. She helped me find some really cool nipple suckers and vibrators. She also educated me on some BDSM and shabari; which is something I've always wanted to explore. She was very knowledgeable and hilarious. I EVEN SAVED MONEY THANKS TO HER; by checking into Yelp! I felt like we really connected and you don't get that from a lot of associates in most retail. I would HIGHLY recommend this store to anyone they have a large selection of many products and great staff. read more

Incredible staff and HUGE product selection. Store was a lot bigger inside than it appears! Having worked at fascinations and shopped there for 6+ years I've definitely switched over to the competitor. Groove was SUPER clean, decorated beautifully and had the most amazing staff. SKY was SO nice. They were able to help my partner and I find the products we needed very quickly and kindly. I wouldn't have spent $400+ without this employees help so THANK you Sky for your incredible customer service skills and kindness. We know working with the public can be very stressful so we really appreciate kindness from those who work to make our experiences great. read more

Christine has got IT POPPIN yo! My girl and I were tryna select from a specific area of items, and when asked for help, IMMEDIATE response and enthusiasm was seen and definitely heard by all. What could've been a awkward conversation to find the right item, INSTEAD she made everything, lighthearted, fun, and did not hold back. Her personality, as well as professional attitude, is a great addition to the store. Please shop here if you want a fun, judgement free experience! Also their product selection is fricken HUGE. read more

I had such a great experience shopping at this store! The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and judgment-free, which made me feel super comfortable exploring new things. The staff was knowledgeable and kind, never pushy, and they answered all my questions without making it awkward. They had a wide variety of high-quality toys, lingerie, and wellness products, so there's definitely something for everyone. Whether you're new to it or experienced, this place is perfect for spicing things up. I'll definitely be back! read more

The groove is perfect! They make you feel so relaxed, it doesn't matter whether you're a novice in your sex toy experience or master level. When I ask questions, every single employee there has been so sweet and supportive that I am sure most people will feel uncomfortable asking them. This is a free field of judgement and they are truly there to assist. One of the employee i think her name is riley I believe was so informanative with the products she's selling i walked out with many purchases. read more

This is the spot for all you smexxy needs. Ricki is phenomenal and so incredibly knowledgeable. Everytime we've come in and she has helped us. She has shared her personal experience with toys and things. She listens and provides genuine advice without being pushy or trying to "sell" a product. She is encouraging and understanding. Be sure to ask for her if you want great customer service and help. read more

Amazing they are all wearing masks in the store and the store was pretty busy, they have lingerie on one side and toys on the other so if you're there for one or the other you have options. The best part is that they allow you to try on the lingerie! They have panty liners and they clean everything you don't take back to keep it clean which was another level of care involved! read more

It was not the first time my boyfriend and I had gone into the store but had I known that the experience with Christina we had was so educational yet comfortable with her, we definitely would have asked before.. she was very informative and helpful with our search.. And I have to say that we had an amazing outcome with our selection ... Thank you Christina!! See you soon!! read more

Awesome selection, way better vibe than the competitors... and the prices are a lot better! Pleasantly surprised at how affordable the lingerie selection is, which gave me the opportunity to pick out multiple outfits. Always clean and comfortable to shop in, unlike the creepy vibes at Castle and other adult stores. So glad to have this store in the East Valley! read more

Stuck at home? Add some spice! Groove has the best service, selection and prices in the valley. Awesome specials if you sign up. Never need to order from the other local shops again. Didn't even have to leave my house. Got my order delivered same day with Postmates. Soooo worth the $10 bucks! Amanda at the Gilbert location is a rock star! read more
