Kale Caesar Salad

First time to Margarita Monday at Gringos and Mariachis at Park Potomac. The food is fabulous. We ordered guacamole with chips, kale Caesar salad and chicken and avocado soup. Our entrees included two quesabirria tacos, two carne asada tacos and the chicken chimichanga. All delicious winner choices. Our server Patty was friendly and took excellent care of us. I think I like Monday night the best because the restaurant is not as loud as it is on other nights.

Always a fun time at Gringos & Mariachi! They have happy hour specials with drinks and food deals. They also celebrate Taco Tuesday's. The tacos are $4 each - the Honey Habanero Shrimp had a kick to it! The cauliflower taco wasn't my favorite. They offer a weekend brunch as well! I enjoy the margaritas, chorizo stuffed dates and duck nachos. The art in the restaurant is unique. 2 hours of free parking available

I came to the Park Potomac location with two friends who desperately needed a night out! No issues with service or with the food. The server was willing to ensure dishes were made according to our dietary needs. I've been to the Bethesda location as well, but prefer this spot since its much more spacious. The decor was spot on, and loved the rustic appeal! My friends absolutely loved the Birria, Honey Glazed Shrimp and the Chicken Tacos. I appreciate how they had other options for vegetarians such as the Chorizo and the Sofritas. Each taco had the right amount of salt and spice; they were so good we ordered more of each kind! Please think about adding three tacos instead of two!

I'd rate higher if the service was better (they were clearly understaffed on Father's Day). My duck tacos were tasty, though greasy. My wife liked the safritos tacos, and the avocado salsa.

Gringos and Mariachis: A Flavorful Fiesta Came here with my ladies. Gringos and Mariachis offers a dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds while providing a cozy atmosphere. The house margaritas are a standout, packing a powerful punch with their strong yet delightful blend. For those seeking a bold cocktail experience, these margaritas do not disappoint. The shrimp tacos, which are a true flavor explosion. Each bite reveals a complex taste profile, with a subtle heat that adds an exciting dimension to the dish, I changed my tortilla for lettuce wraps. Dessert lovers will appreciate the restaurant's sweet offerings. The flan is so delectable that you'll be tempted to order seconds, while the tres leches cake strikes a perfect balance - sweet but not overly moist. It's a dessert that will satisfy those who prefer a lighter, less saturated cake. The environment adds to the overall dining experience, though it's worth noting that the space can become quite loud. This might be a consideration for those seeking a more subdued dining atmosphere. Pros: Strong, delicious margaritas Flavorful shrimp tacos with a hint of heat Excellent desserts (flan and tres leches) Vibrant environment Cons: Can get noisy (that's okay to me)

Carne Asada Tacos and Mexican Rice.

Came in for an early dinner over the weekend. The space is beautiful! I love the art and the energetic vibes of the restaurant. Service was also great. The waiter checked on us several times throughout our meal. Food was hit or miss for our group. One person ordered the elote and did not enjoy the flavor of the mayo used. I ordered Mexican rice that was absolutely flavorless. The chips weren't amazing but the salsa was fresh. I also had a strawberry limeade that I thought was just okay. My whole party agreed we would come back for the birria quesadilla and the carne asada tacos. The tacos are small, but the meat is cooked to perfection and the flavor is great! Overall an average experience. I will definitely come back to continue to explore the menu.

Pancake Taco (Chorizo)

Even though we are regulars, it was our first time for brunch. Really enjoyed the pancake tacos and churro waffle !! As always, outstanding service by Ivan !! Very informative, patient, and courteous.

Wanted to try a new to me restaurant so went to Gringos. It is definitely a space that is more energetic i suppose based on the location and bar. The drinks were good and it seems they have a $7 deal during happy hour that looked amazing. Unfortunately i went around 8pm. The service was fabulous but i felt like there could be more with the food. The shrimp tacos i got for my main were very confusing. It was also very small portion so i am not a fan. The best thing i ate was the birria special! The consome and actual birtia taco were delicious and perfect. I would go back but specifically for happy hour so i can get more bang for my buck.

Are there heaters for outdoor seating?

They have a nice outdoor tent with good airflow and yes good heaters

Are the tacos gluten free? What about other gluten free options?

When I was last there, I know they have an option to use lettuce leaves for their tacos. I believe they have a choice between corn and flour tortillas, the corn should be gluten-free, but I would check before committing to corn tortillas.

Parking was a breeze as there are multiple lots and plenty of free street parking. I got the quesadilla, the chicken was lean and seasoned great, the cheese was flavorful and stringy, however there were big chunks of onion? In it. I wish I got just chicken and cheese. The chicken was also wet and the whole quesadilla was quite soggy. My friend got the tacos, there were also big chunks of white vegetable in her meat. My favorite thing was the corn, it was really delicious. The interior is decorated and the service is fast and friendly. You order at the front and they give you a beeper that rings when it's ready. They offer lots of fun drinks & sides that I want to try out next!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated with lots of art and vibrant colors. We got the birria tacos, Al pastor torta, and shrimp tostada to go and ate them in the small park nearby (Flinn Park). Everything was delicious and well portioned. The torta was really good and something we don't typically see on menus- so want to give that a shout out. The bread was toasty even with all the filling, which included meat, pickled jalapeños, refried beans, cheese, avocado, lettuce, and tomato - wow! We were so impressed at how good it was. The birria tacos were tasty too, and still crunchy when we got to the park. The shrimp tostada was okay- generous with the shrimp but I thought the tomato sauce it came in was too sweet. We also got one of their agua frescas which comes in a bag! Overall, a solid spot with a creative menu and great service. I remember when they were a food truck during Covid and am so happy to support their storefront! Next time I will try their pozole!

Its extensive, diverse menu features unique specialties and vegetarian options, all crafted with flavorful, fresh ingredients. This location is smaller than other Taco Bamba outlets I've visited, with limited indoor seating and patio seating available. Many customers choose to take out. The Lengua De Res Taco was okay, while the Shrimp Quesadilla delivered a well-balanced flavor from the shrimp and plenty of cheese. The Torta Bamba is generously filled with meats, pickles, avocado, tomatoes, and pineapple, and the portion size is ample.

When you enter the restaurant, you can either order at the kiosk or the register. The menu is extensive, but I doubt there isn't something on the menu you'd like. After placing your order, you sit at one of the dining tables in the large dining area, and a staff member brings your food out to you when it's ready. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I ordered a chicken fajita taco and a bacon egg and cheese taco - yes, they serve breakfast items all day - and shared some queso and chips. As expected, the tacos were delicious, fresh and flavorful. The queso is one of my favorite things on the menu. If you're in the area and want to try some unique tacos, definitely try out Torchy's!

The staff was friendly and gave some suggestions, but the service is mostly you doing things. The food was good, nothing amazing but pretty good! Good portions of meat and interesting flavors that work together. The steak was tender enough and the chicken was good. The only thing I would suggest would be a heated up tortilla and meltier cheese on top. Overall most of them were pretty decent! 3.5/5 Chips and sampler was good! I do like the chips tasted freshly made and the guacamole and salsa were great! The queso was decent not my favorite, but it was a good addition to the trio. 4/5 Overall, this place is better than Taco Bamba and what I would compare it to with thier similar fusion flavors. I'd go back and try some more things!
