And then for mains, I had the fesenjun, a sweet stew with chunks of marinated chicken, served with a plate of rice. It was out of this world, with a thick consistency and lots of meat throughout. If you're up for a classic Persian dish and feel adventurous to try a sweet stew, I strongly recommend the fesenjun. And then throughout the meal, they kept bringing complimentary dishes that were outstanding. From the tahdig with ghormeh sabzeh on top, to the plate of hummus, to the fruit that came with our teas for dessert, all such a nice touch! Their food is always tasty and service amazing. When they closed at their old location more than a year ago, I was heartbroken. So glad to have found them again today. Their new dig is bigger and better, has a separate bar section from the restaurant. The food is as fabulous as before. We enjoyed every dish and bite (we were very hungry and forgot to take pics of the appetizers). The owner/chef came out to say hi, the server was friendly and professional. We didn't initially realize and thought they had put out two meals on the platter (and they were just small portions) and included some extras as well, until our waiter came over a few minutes later and apologized. Unfortunately, because we received the mixed grill instead of our two chicken entrees, the solution of charging us the price for the mixed instead of our two meals only took roughly $10 off the bill but resulted in us having less than half of the food we otherwise would've had. That aside, the food was delicious enough that Kebab House still warrants five stars and we will be back, just more aware of what to expect as far as portions.

Perfectly cooked and partially deboned, I'd definitely get it again. As funny as this may sound, the real MVP of the dish is the roasted tomato. Delicious juiciness. The first time I went, the owner was kind enough to gift us an order of homemade Saffron Ice Cream. I ordered Baklava on top of that and it was so good that I had to buy half a pound to bring home to my family. When my glass of water spilled on the floor, none of the workers or the waiter even noticed and the water remained on the floor through out the meal. The food was plentiful but not great. When we wanted to take our left overs, the waiter brought over 7 containers and 7 plastic bags for us to assemble and bag ourselves. We were surprised to see that at a fine dining restaurant. I think that since the Shiraz waiters know they are getting a 20% tip no matter what, they don't have to go above and beyond. This was a treat! ~ Lahme Meshwi (grilled filet mignon cubes w.rice & veg) ($40): I thought this dish was a tad bit overpriced but great nonetheless. The filet mignon was so tender and prepared perfectly.
