Great date night spot! First time visiting, the menu, while small, makes it hard to decide because everything sounds so amazing! Thankfully, our server Ashley gave her recommendations and pairings, and we ended up with the perfect amount of food between the two of us. We ordered a round of cocktails and the babaganoush, foie gras, feta toast, branzino and cauliflower mezze. Everything tasted great and was tastefully plated as well. The babaganoush was the surprising standout, with an assertive smokiness and super creamy consistency. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

This restaurant is somewhat hidden and not the easiest to spot unless you're specifically searching for it. While it appears small from the outside, it's surprisingly spacious inside with tasteful decor. The food is incredible--easily my favorite Mediterranean restaurant. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, with no complaints at all. Our server was exceptionally attentive and answered all our questions. I'm excited to return and try more dishes!

We had the hummus, beets, Charred Octopus, Grilled Branzino, Steak, Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras, shrimp pasta, roast duck. Everything was quite good. It's a little pricey but overall everything was excellent. The shrimp pasta was a bit in the sweet side. The foil gras was my favorite. Service was great.

This place was SO good. We got a bunch of the "shareables" so we could try a bunch of things. The chicken shawarma was so delicious, the flavors mixed together and then ontop of the warm pita had me scraping the bowl. The fattoush salad was so fresh and ENORMOUS! I loved the feta and pomegranate seeds. The chicken schnitzel was fantastic as well, the potatoes added a sweet, creamy flavor to the pounded and perfectly crisp chicken. The artichoke malawach was good, but not my favorite, it was definitely more spinach heavy, and was a bit too heavy for me. The brussel sprouts were ok, and could have definitely had less dressing mixed in. I definitely want to return for more shawarma and want to try the babaganoush. Solid spot for middle eastern food!

A trendy and beautiful Mediterranean restaurant on the main drag in Great Neck. We sat in a comfortable round booth. The wine & cocktail list were very nice. Unfortunately, there was only one waitress, Chelsea was also the bartender, bussed our tables - she was efficient, personable & very very busy. It was a busy & noisy Monday night. We enjoyed our wines & cocktails along with appetizers. The baked feta fondue came in a cast iron pan it was creamy & had a sweet onion, nut topping. The artichokes were on a fillo pie crust. For dinner we shared the lamb kofte and Brussels sprouts, they were just delicious, portions were so large before coming home. The baked Alaska was as delicious as it was beautiful. All four of us enjoyed an exceptional & very delicious memorable dinner.

Won't return - very uncomfortable seats - what the hell! They're more than half empty. My back hurts. This Mediterranean restaurant has been opened for a while. Eggplant - very good, served in a chipped bowl Chickpea fritter - great Octopus - ok Artichoke Malawach - pizzaish: topping is good, crust is sweet. Street parking.

Lola is one of the best restaurants on Long Island. Chef Lenny Messina is a genius in the kitchen. Lola uses the freshest ingredients. The food is delicious. We've had the salmon, branzino, chicken and lamb. The foie gras is a fantastic addition to whatever entree you try. All the small plates are amazing. So are the side salads. No matter what we've had here, the food has been delicious. They have a great wine list. Their cocktails are so good. The desserts are memorable. Try the baked Alaska!!! The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming.

We had sigara borek and hummus as appetizers, and the hummus in particular was so fresh and flavorful - definitely the best hummus I have ever had. We ordered a couple of entrees and unfortunately the wrong food came out. We didn't initially realize and thought they had put out two meals on the platter (and they were just small portions) and included some extras as well, until our waiter came over a few minutes later and apologized. Unfortunately, because we received the mixed grill instead of our two chicken entrees, the solution of charging us the price for the mixed instead of our two meals only took roughly $10 off the bill but resulted in us having less than half of the food we otherwise would've had. That aside, the food was delicious enough that Kebab House still warrants five stars and we will be back, just more aware of what to expect as far as portions.

Their food is always tasty and service amazing. When they closed at their old location more than a year ago, I was heartbroken. So glad to have found them again today. We enjoyed every dish and bite (we were very hungry and forgot to take pics of the appetizers). The owner/chef came out to say hi, the server was friendly and professional. The entire experience was simply superb. We will be back again soon!

There's a lovely rustic, yet high end vibe. It's also immaculate. Our server was fantastic...just the right balance of friendly, attentive and helpful. It was hard to choose appetizers because I actually wanted one of each. There aren't a lot of Mediterranean choices near where I live currently so my eyes were definitely WAY bigger than my stomach. That said, we shared the halloumi and three different dips served with warm pita. Then we added a last minute choice of grilled sweet sausage for my stepdad. Before we even received our appetizers, they brought a lovely pile of warm pita with delicious sides to accompany: olives, white bean spread, and red pepper hummus (I believe... whatever it was, it was delicious!). The appetizers were outstanding and it was really hard to pick a favorite. Each one of the dips was delightful: taramasalata, hummus, and eggplant. I tasted a bite of the sausage and I understood why my stepdad enjoyed it so much (perfectly cooked and just the right amount of seasoning). The appetizers were new to my mom and she truly enjoyed everything. Her main course was crabcakes and she raved about those as well. I chose the Souvlaki with a side of grilled vegetables and it was exactly what I wanted with perfectly spiced and not overcooked cubes of chicken. The other grilled chicken dish got a huge thumbs up...and that's from a super picky eater. We topped everything off by sharing a large piece of cake that was very decadent....and even though I love chocolate,.... no way I could've finished it by myself. It had an Oreo crust and the rest was a rich chocolate mousse. Next time? Baklava. Looking forward to going back to visit the fam and enjoying Maria's again. Maybe they can open up a location near Saratoga? Just saying...

I believe the menu is kosher too, in terms of dietary considerations. The baba ghanoush was excellent, it had a rich texture and a slightly sweet aftertaste that was very unique. I ate it with the veggies served alongside, as well as some rice later on in the meal, but honestly could have wolfed it down on its own. And then for mains, I had the fesenjun, a sweet stew with chunks of marinated chicken, served with a plate of rice. It was out of this world, with a thick consistency and lots of meat throughout. If you're up for a classic Persian dish and feel adventurous to try a sweet stew, I strongly recommend the fesenjun.
