    Stuffed schnitzel with salad

I came here with some friends after work and service is warm and friendly, although not always knowledgeable. The food is excellent: the chicken shawarma is warm and you can choose the spice level! The falafel hummus is delicious! The cold appetizer mixture is very nice. Interesting dish of stuffed schnitzel - my friend liked it. Atmosphere is nice and gregarious. Come earlier because as the night goes on, it can get very noisy! Overall I do recommend.

TLDR: I've only been for brunch but I now no longer need to trek to the city for an Iraeli-ish cafe. If you like middle eastern food, complimentary dips! Arayas, shakshuka. So good. I'm not sure how we ended up here but I really like this place. In fact, I find myself craving this pretty often. Typically I'd have to head into the city to get this type of food but now - I can pop over to Great Neck! I appreciate the massive complimentary bread with the miniature salatim you get. The arayas are awesome. Stuffed pita with kebab that's been grilled over. Pickled onions, sauce, what's not to love. I've also grown quite fond of the shakshuka with the merguez sausage. It's spicy, it's tangy, savory, the eggs with all that sauce are super delicious. The smoked eggplant wasn't too shabby either. Seriously - if you're into this type of cuisine, look no further. Paprika is a solid spot.

Paprika is the best kosher meat restaurant in all of Great Neck. The service was phenomenal and so was the ambiance.

We had sigara borek and hummus as appetizers, and the hummus in particular was so fresh and flavorful - definitely the best hummus I have ever had. We ordered a couple of entrees and unfortunately the wrong food came out. We didn't initially realize and thought they had put out two meals on the platter (and they were just small portions) and included some extras as well, until our waiter came over a few minutes later and apologized. Unfortunately, because we received the mixed grill instead of our two chicken entrees, the solution of charging us the price for the mixed instead of our two meals only took roughly $10 off the bill but resulted in us having less than half of the food we otherwise would've had. That aside, the food was delicious enough that Kebab House still warrants five stars and we will be back, just more aware of what to expect as far as portions.

Their food is always tasty and service amazing. When they closed at their old location more than a year ago, I was heartbroken. So glad to have found them again today. Their new dig is bigger and better, has a separate bar section from the restaurant. The food is as fabulous as before. We enjoyed every dish and bite (we were very hungry and forgot to take pics of the appetizers). The owner/chef came out to say hi, the server was friendly and professional. The entire experience was simply superb. We will be back again soon!

There is something truly special about their seasoning that makes every single dish amazing. What really sets Maria's apart, besides the incredible food, is the outstanding hospitality. Maria and her staff treat everyone like family from the moment you walk through the door. It's that rare, warm atmosphere combined with consistently delicious food that makes this a place I always look forward to returning to. Food (5/5): Consistent and amazing. There's a lovely rustic, yet high end vibe. It's also immaculate. Our server was fantastic...just the right balance of friendly, attentive and helpful. It was hard to choose appetizers because I actually wanted one of each. There aren't a lot of Mediterranean choices near where I live currently so my eyes were definitely WAY bigger than my stomach. That said, we shared the halloumi and three different dips served with warm pita. Then we added a last minute choice of grilled sweet sausage for my stepdad. Before we even received our appetizers, they brought a lovely pile of warm pita with delicious sides to accompany: olives, white bean spread, and red pepper hummus (I believe... whatever it was, it was delicious!). The appetizers were outstanding and it was really hard to pick a favorite. Each one of the dips was delightful: taramasalata, hummus, and eggplant. I tasted a bite of the sausage and I understood why my stepdad enjoyed it so much (perfectly cooked and just the right amount of seasoning). The appetizers were new to my mom and she truly enjoyed everything. Her main course was crabcakes and she raved about those as well. I chose the Souvlaki with a side of grilled vegetables and it was exactly what I wanted with perfectly spiced and not overcooked cubes of chicken. The other grilled chicken dish got a huge thumbs up...and that's from a super picky eater. We topped everything off by sharing a large piece of cake that was very decadent....and even though I love chocolate,.... no way I could've finished it by myself. It had an Oreo crust and the rest was a rich chocolate mousse. Next time? Baklava. Looking forward to going back to visit the fam and enjoying Maria's again. Maybe they can open up a location near Saratoga? Just saying...
