This is one of the better Greek places in the area and lunch is around $15 per person. I recommend ordering via the app if you're in a hurry. Ok little restaurant for a quick bite. We got food to go. Beef & lamb gyros, chicken souvlaki, and stuffed grape leaves. Chicken souvlaki was fine, basically grilled chicken pieces in a pita. Gyros also just fine. Meat was dry, not a lot of anything else on there. Tzatziki not especially good. Stuffed grape leaves also not great. On the mushy side with some strange spices inside. Is this the best Greek I've ever had? No, but it isn't the worst either. The trio dip was good. They have really good tzatziki. I also liked the spicy feta dip. The kids had chicken fingers and fries off the kids menu. Pretty basic. My husband had the gyro wrap with Greek fries, he enjoyed. I ordered the grilled chicken caesar wrap and Greek fries. It was good. They really give a lot of French fries. (Pro tip: use the dips for the fries, yum). The Greek iced frappe was strong and refreshing. Prices keep rising and the food just keeps getting more mediocre and bland. Tzatziki sauce still is too watery and too much lettuce. Now they charge a dollar for delivery fee and have raised their prices twice in the last year. I understand local businesses are struggling but it's really unfair to raise the prices and not let the customers know or show on their website. Please take a look at your food and make sure it's cooked and not raw. I called them to let them know that 3 of our 4 chicken dishes were raw. Told I would get a call back from the manager and never did. Very disappointing considering the owner also owns Sea Bar down the block that I have yet to try. The owner contacted me months after my review explaining that the reason the food was awful was because of supply chain issues and labor problems. If you can't get chicken breasts for tenders and can only get frozen chicken nuggets (processed ground chicken) then the menu should be updated to reflect that. I was asked to remove my review and in return for doing so I would be given a $20 credit. Not only does that not cover my meal, but this goes against yelp policy. If you don't want negative reviews, fix the issues your customers are complaining about or remove items you can't actually supply because of COVID. Taste 3/5 - Wrap was decent. Pita bread standard, have had some that tastes more freshly baked elsewhere. Lemon potato poorly flavored, way too much lemon, totally soaked into the potato, probably squeezed lemon all over and let it sit. Not my style, but maybe other's style given high ratings. A- OK, just would not personally choose to go to a fast casual joint with food priced in mid-teens using relatively inexpensive ingredients. I would just go to Chipotle instead honestly next time. Based on the recommendation of a friend/neighbor I have Greek Xpress a try. Being my favorite option elsewhere, I went with the gyro on a pita and threw in some curly fries on the side. (I would give this place a 4.5/5 if I could but eh) This Has to be the best greek place in the great neck/manhasset area. Although there isn't much competition it's even topped greek places in the city. Their lunch specials are always something to look forward to. Yes it's a little pricy but the quality of the food is outstanding. The meat on the lamb gyro is so juicy thin and tender. I also got the spinach gyro and although my mother doesn't like it, I think it's a good alternative for someone's whose vegetarian. I also always get some tzatziki and hummus on the side as well with some pita bread to complete my meal. I do have to dock half a point though, as I'm not a big fan of their French fries. Seem pretty bland and usually when I get them they're soggy. If you can, I'd pay extra to get the lemon potatoes. Those taste like literal heaven, or you can take the safe route and take the rice, which is alright and will do the job.
