This establishment touts themselves as a healthy food restaurant, which they definitely have. However, they also have not so healthy items like an array of fried foods which are mostly on the kids menu. We tried a mango pineapple smoothie which is only made with almond milk. Unfortunately, with an almond allergy we asked them to use water only, so the consistency was different, but was still tasty. We also tried the crispy chicken wrap, Caesar salad wrap, grilled protein bowl, and a Dubai chocolate cheese cake. Everything was ok to good. It was all very fresh, but the steak in the protein bowl was chewy, some things lacked a little flavor, while others were very flavorful. So just a bit inconsistent. Service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is intimate and cute. I would return if in the area, and try something different. read more

Stumbled upon this place from an instagram ad, and noticed it was close to my job. I came here for lunch. Street meter parking is available. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap, fries, and a soda. Everything came out to $20. The food came out relatively quickly. The wrap was good but the chicken was under seasoned. I wish it had more flavor. Other than that, everything was just ok. read more

Grill & Greens - Chicken Caesar wrap and Side French Fries - Wraps Near Me - Bloomfield, New Jersey

Grill and Greens kept popping up on my FYP, so I was excited to finally give them a try. For the food alone, I'd give them a solid 4.The dishes are tasty and well priced. But I'm giving them five stars because of the staff. They were incredibly friendly and so sweet to my toddler, who was definitely not on his best behavior. They even gave us a free drink to try. Their kindness and patience made me a customer for life, especially since I was juggling an indecisive human and a cranky toddler. We ordered the shrimp and salmon wrap, the tenders and fries, a Turkish soda, and a fountain drink. The wraps were flavorful and delicious. The salmon tasted fresh and wasn't overcooked. The Turkish soda was something I'd never tried before, and I was amazed by how light yet flavorful it was, all while having half the sugar of regular sodas. They also have parking, which is a huge plus, and they offer delivery themselves. Overall, such a great experience! read more

Grill & Greens is such a gem in Bloomfield Center! They have the best lentil soup and falafel wrap -- seriously so flavorful and fresh. There are tons of vegan options, which I really appreciate. On top of the amazing food, the owner and staff are genuinely so nice and welcoming. Even the decor is beautiful -- the whole place just has a great vibe. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. They even have free parking right next to the restaurant, and if that lot's full, there's meter parking right on Glenwood Ave. So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood. Highly recommend! read more

Service was great for a Monday night. We got immediate attention and our server was polite. Food was very good and tasty. This food tastes authentic, healthy and yummy! It's very filling I had the gyro and was able to take my other half for lunch the next day. Ambiance was decent seems like a good spot to get a quick bite or even a casual date. read more

I've ordered from their Parsippany location a couple of times and always enjoyed the food. The Bloomfield location has exactly the same menu and is just as tasty! The wraps are phenomenal and I love the vegetarian options. read more

My go to dinner spot. I'm always greeted immediately and the servers are attentive. The intimate dining room is where I enjoy the best falafel in the area. My go to with every meal is hummus and calamari. The Grilled Branzino Filet was too dry for me. read more

Today I happen to visit Rumi Mediterranean Café and Grill. I have walked past this restaurant on several occasions, but I never was hungry right then and there. So I made a mental note of the place and promised myself that I would come check this place out. Anyway, today was the day that I decided to stop in and have some lunch. The ambience of this restaurant is quite lovely and the staff was beyond friendly. I was quickly and efficiently sat at a table, handed a menu, and my drink order was taken. The place was pretty empty as you can see by the photographs and so I had a lot of time to peruse the menu. So, let's talk about what I ordered. So I decided to start my meal with the lentil soup as an appetizer. And for my entrée, I decided to order the lamb Shawarma platter. The lentil soup arrived surprisingly quickly with a side of warm pita bread but was quite flavorless. Then moments later, my entrée arrived. I was really looking forward to this Shawarma platter until I tasted it. To say that it was void a flavor would be an understatement. I had to salt and pepper the meat just to get some sort of flavoring because this dish was truly void of any taste. To be quite honest with you I really wanted to like this restaurant, the service was lovely and the restaurant was clean and had a nice ambience, but the food just didn't hit the mark. Hopefully one day I'll come back to this establishment and give it another try but until then, they just get three stars. I hope that this information helps you on whether or not you decide to visit this restaurant. But anyway, until next time, happy timing and happy yelping! read more

Food is Great the spices intensify an amazing taste. The food was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed drinking the beverages as well.

This place opened recently in the old Glenwood Diner, and the interior looks really nice and updated from the old decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. I looked in the dessert case, and a staff member came over to tell me what everything was. They all looked good! I got a gyro to go, and the gyros are described as coming with "served with lettuce, onions, pickles and french fries" as having a side of fries, not fries inside the gyro, as I've never seen a place do that. The wording doesn't say it's on the side, but I think that's more expected and for the price, a side would have made sense. It came with a side of sauce, and the gyro was tasty. This place has some really promising items and nice atmosphere. There is some parking in a lot or street parking available. It's nice to see a new business in the area. read more

I ordered two chicken Caesar wraps through uber eats. It was buy one get one free. Both wrapped had a shit ton of brown lettuce in them. There is no way it wasn't intentional unless you're employing blind people. Idk if restaurants just hate Uber eats but I could barely eat it. read more

Grill & Greens has really good food. The lentil soup is so delicious i purchase with every meal I buy. I do take out at least 3x's a week here and i just love. Nice dining area with comfy chairs. Service was excellent. Hummus was tasty and served with pita. I had chicken Adana which was cooked well but needed alittle more seasoning. My husband had the Iskander and he also wanted alittle more spice and he said the bread was alittle too thin - he likes thicker bread with this dish. We got the Baklava for dessert. I do like this place - just wish they'd up the spice a bit. read more

Response to 1-Star Review on Yelp: Mr. Afif H. Ah, yes--thank you so much for gracing us with your one-star insight amidst a sea of 4.9s and 5.0s. We were just sitting here, with our average rating hovering near perfection, wondering what it must be like to have a highly refined palate that apparently finds fault in freshly made Mediterranean cuisine, professional service, and fair pricing. Thank goodness we finally have you to set the record straight. Let's unpack this together, shall we? First, the food: Everything at RUMI is prepared fresh on the premises daily. That's right--no microwaves, no frozen nonsense, no mystery meat from a back alley. Just chefs actually cooking--a concept that may seem foreign if one is more accustomed to ordering via a clown's drive-thru window. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and the presentation? Let's just say I've paid twice as much elsewhere for something that looked like a rejected high school home economics project. Speaking of prices--if you thought they were too high, perhaps the issue wasn't the restaurant, but your budget? There are wonderful establishments that serve food in paper bags through sliding windows at lightning speed. Just a suggestion. Now, I've been a regular at RUMI for over a year and a half. That's four times a week, every week. Do the math if you must. I'd gladly double what I pay because the quality of the experience is that consistent, that professional, and that exceptional. The staff knows customer service like they invented it. If you felt neglected while being "the only one in the restaurant," might I recommend saying something? The owner, mind you, is on-site daily, clearly visible and always receptive--unless, of course, speaking up might interrupt a good sulk. And let's be honest: if you are the lone dissenter in an otherwise glowing chorus of praise... maybe--just maybe--the problem isn't the café. Anyway, we'll be over here, sipping our freshly brewed Turkish coffee, enjoying a beautifully plated lamb shawarma, and basking in what the rest of us recognize as one of the best dining experiences in town. Cheers to you and your discerning taste. May you find that perfect dollar menu item that never dares to disappoint. Warmest regards (and a hearty eye-roll), A loyal customer with actual tastebuds Ted Striker read more

Very quaint inside but very cold. The restroom was absolutely freezing. We both had the Lamb Doner Shawarma dinner. Sliced very thin, not much flavor. It was served with a salad, no flavor either. No sauce served. It would be nice if entree was served with some hummus or Tzatziki sauce. Our entrees were not served together which was very odd. I had to wait 6 more minutes for my entree to arrive and we had the same dish. Staff was very friendly. read more

Place looked appealing from the outside. Service was decent. However the food itself was very bland. My chicken shish looked as if it was cooked in oil versus grille. Steak and shrimp should not be sold as a platter. Fatty, minuscule salad add-on esque portions. Would not return

I don't think this restaurant needs another great review, but I have to chime in. The place is nice and immaculate! The food absolutely outstanding. I had the Turkish tea which was delicious, the hummus, and the falafel wrap. The falafel wrap had french fries and a little bit of pickle in it. That was surprising but it was amazing. My husband had the lamb platter and he can't wait to go back to have it again. And my husband is super picky. . The staff are kind and attentive and overall this was an exceptional experience. Had a terrible experience for my sister's graduation lunch here. Went on a Thursday at 3pm. There was no one else in the restaurant. Had a party if 7 (not huge but sizeable where you'd think they'd care about service). The service was TERRIBLE. Like absolutely terrible and I personally dont go to restaurants for the ambiance/service but care more about yhe taste/quality of the food. They would come by every 30 minutes and seem bothered when we'd ask for water every 30 minutes... what kind of service is that? We spent close to $300 and they couldn't care to refill our water glasses. They were not accommodating at all and pushing ordering more food when we ordered 5 appetizers, the largest family sized platter and 3 desserts. The food is VERY overpriced, though good quality and overall good. Maybe they think they can charge more because there isn't as much competition in the area. There are much better quality places that are authentic in Paterson/Clifton area. Save yourself the trouble and go there instead. For example, they charge $12 for a child's size mozzarella sticks or chicken fingers, which is highway robbery. Their individual kebab dishes are around $28. They have a cold trio of 3 appetizers and they charge $28 for it snd it came out in this tiny little dish. We got the hummus, graoe leaves and another eggplant/tomato dish, the name of which I'm forgetting. They have 2 grape leaves. That means we spent over $9 for 2 grape leaves for an appetizers sampler that is meant to be shared... Please make it make sense. That's comparable to high end/fancy restaurants and way out of line for this restaurant. The family platter that feeds 4-5 is ~$150, which amounts to $25-35 per person. What family meal is more expensive than individual orders... the pricing makes no sense and is a complete ripoff. The appetizers weren't very good, the entree was good and the desserts are not good (probably the worst out of the 3) and are not good quality. The decor and theme of the restaurant was nice and what drew us to it. We have been to many Turkish restaurants and have always loved the food/ambience. This was not it. There are many better restaurants in the immediate area that blow this place out of the water. Extremely disappointed in our experience. Normally I wouldn't care for the service and whatnot but we went for my sister's medical school graduation and had an awful experience. There were two couples who came after us who sat for at least 20 minutes without anyone coming by to take their order. I'm not sure how this place has so many positive reviews, I would not go back and would recommend others go elsewhere. Please save yourselves the time and effort and thank me later. read more

The food was excellent! We had a great time with the family style offering they had. The staff were all great as well.

The food is just wonderful. The service is attentive and friendly. . Cold appetizers like lebni, esme, baba ganoush are rich, flavorful. Lunch special is a great value at $20. Main courses do not disappoint, either. A fantastic addition to Bloomfield! Give Rumí a try! read more
