I did a pickup order, but the interior looked really nice for dine in as well. It was pretty easy to place an order, but they do charge to use credit cards (which I did not see disclosed but meh). I did get a gyro platter - meat was nice. and it did come with 2 side options. The baba ghanouj was a really nice, big serving with a rich, roasted eggplant flavor. The roasted potatoes were fine, but nothing remarkable. Overall the meal was satisfying and was a lot of food. I did give in and have to try the heaven cake, as I had not heard of it before. The pistachio crust and phyllo edge reminded me a lot of baklava, but the whipped cream filling was very sweet and denser than I expected. It was a unique treat. Overall, the food was nice, and Manouche offers some interesting dishes for the area.

The food was really tasty and fresh. The dips were creamy. The service was amazing and friendly and the ambience is cozy.

We are always on the lookout for new dining experiences in the Bloomfield/Montclair area and will definitely be returning to Manouche. Everything was delicious and the freshness of the food is what makes Manouche a standout among local Mediterranean restaurants. We plan to order one of their family style meals for takeout the next time we have guests visit.

Solid experience! My friend referred me to Manouche and I'm so glad she did. I made sure to make a reservation because she told me it gets busy. Parking is only street but we found a spot quickly. Upon entering we were greeted welcomingly and directed to a table. The dining space was pretty small but cozy. It looked like a lot of local families visit. The waitress was very kind and attentive. We had sodas (no cocktails here!) and the Ouche Dipper. We picked the Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, Zesty Feta with chips. The dips were sooo good. We particularly loved the chips because we haven't seen that at any Mediterranean restaurants we've been to. For the entree we ordered the Ouche Mixed Grill Platter with Pilaf Rice and Ouche Salad. 10/10!! The meats had so much flavor. Rice and salad were great and a good balance. My stomach is sensitive but it didn't hurt. The portion size was great for 2. I only didn't like the onions because I'm particular but my gf did. I'd definitely come back!

Fool - authentic and seasoned well - A bowl of lentil and chickpea stew with a garnish of lemon wedges and mint leaves, served in a restaurant setting.

We had our family dinner and curious for an authentic Lebanese spot in the Montclair/Bloomfield/Clifton area, Alas! This place was very friendly, service was excellent (checking on tables frequently), It is a family friendly atmosphere and on top of that the food was excellent! This is definitely a place we can bring family and friends over, price is very affordable. A gem in the Bloomfield area.

Growing up in Saudi Arabia, I ate a lot of Middle Eastern food, mostly Lebanese. Ever since moving to the US 15 years ago, I've been searching for a Lebanese restaurant that reminds me of the ones I used to go to back home. Finally, I've found it at Manouche. We went for lunch on a Sunday and got seated right away. We started with crispy falafels and tahini sauce. They were so good - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also had a sfeeha (not pictured), which is a minced beef, parsley, and onion pie. It came in four slices and was delicious. Next, we ordered the ouche dipper and chose labneh, zesty feta, and hummus. The zesty feta had just the right amount of spice, and if it got too spicy, the refreshing labneh balanced it out perfectly. The pitted olives were a nice touch too. For our main course, we all got the chicken shawarma, and it was amazing. The shawarma was long and slender, packed with marinated chicken, fries, Lebanese pickles, and just the right amount of toum. It really brought me back to my childhood. Manouche is now my go-to whenever I'm craving a taste of home. P.S. I went back three days later for takeout. Even though I live about 15 minutes away, the food traveled well. I got the falafels again, along with French fries, chicken shawarma, and the gyro platter. I seriously love Manouche for making such amazing food!

Manouche was meh and although the service was really nice and attentive, the food left much to be desired. We stopped here after seeing it's raving reviews here on Yelp. I swear ya be lyinggggg lol. After a day of oo-ing and ah-ing at the beautiful cherry blossoms in Branch Brook Park we were HUNGRY. We ate in and tried a variety of things: lamb and chicken platter (beef was substituted for chicken), fool (fava beans), and regular gyro with a side of fries. The fries were plentiful. The gyro was pretty basic. The street carts in NYC have more flair and flavor tbh. The veggies were lacking and the gyro meat was exactly as any other gyro spot. The platter was basically a gyro but with sides-- we tried the hummus (again, super basic and bland) and the salad. The beans were plentiful (seriously, it was a HUGE portion) and we did not eat most of it. They tasted a bit odd, like burnt garlic, and felt like they needed to be cooked more. We did not enjoy these beans at all. Add a can of coke for $2.50. I don't drink soda so I was shocked-- when did a can become $2.50?! Is this normal? (serious question) I'm not sure so I won't hold it against them. I don't think I will return. Overall it was flavorless and bland. Not my style.

I went last night after a concert at the MetLife stadium near by. Once we were seated they brought out plates for the table and every one of the four plates given to us had charcoal dust on them, which isn't alarming at an establishment that serves hookah. We asked the waitress LAMIA if she can change the plates, Immediately she caught an attitude. She was adamant they weren't dirty but went to get us new plates as requested. The great thing about outside seating at this establishment is that the windows are wide open so you can see inside. We watched as LAMIA walked over to her coworkers to complain, stomp her foot and have an attitude driven tantrum while she filled them in on our request for new plates. For the rest of dinner we were greeted with the rudest attitude and treatment of distain from this server. She didn't want to speak with us. She didn't want to serve us. Thank you for runing our night LAMIA. She even brought the check over while we were mid eating our dinner, put it on the table and walked away without a word. Rushing us out without even acknowledgement. Paying $200 for a meal with that sort of treatment makes for an interesting end to our evening. We were raised with manners so we continued to be polite and thank her each time she dropped off an item. Makes me question if our food was tampered with because we even found a piece of hair in our meal. We all have long jet black hair down our backs so this hair definitely was not ours. But didn't feel comfortable to speak up due to the treatment we were already receiving. The service industry is for those who enjoy curating a space of fun and enjoyment for consumers. I would think twice about going to this establishment if you're looking for a good time.

Antika, I sincerely Apologize for Mis-judging and Pre-judging your menu items. It will Never Happen Again!!! I started with the Fried Calamari...it was seasoned beautifully and cooked correctly!! We ordered spicey fries, avocado salad and chicken thighs platter, and spinach pies. The avocado salad was good but heavy on the onions. And the spinach pies were savory. Next time I want to try their borekas and halloumi. The chicken thighs were moist and juicy! We decided to order watermelon mint hookah after dinner which was my favorite part but realized we over stayed past the two hour limit as other tables were waiting, so we got booted out. I went to Yasmeen with a friend as he said it's one of his favorite restaurants and it did not disappoint. We ordered the calamari to share & salmon. The calamari was good but I believe the portion could've been bigger. The salmon was also great & I loved the white sauce that accompanied albeit my friend wasn't a huge fan. Do note that the sauce is a bit on the sweeter side so it's not for everyone. In addition to the food, we also had the slush lemonade which was refreshing (despite it being 20 degrees outside haha) & the hookah (albeit the employee there didn't seem sure on how to use it for some reason) which was fine. All in all, I can see why Yasmeen is quite popular in that area.
