It's bright. It's clean. It's fresh. It's hopping. It's well-staffed and the workers are friendly and on top of their game. Each visit I've ordered at the counter and received my grub lickety-split. My only two issues - it's not cheap and this mini-mall can be savage (especially in this half - close to the TJ Maxx and dollar store) so parking can be rough. Regarding the cost - the quality of the food is noticeable, the portions are substantial, and I've been able to have leftovers the next day for my paninis. So far I've tried a hot one (chicken) and cold (tuna) and both were incredible. And I'm not sure what kind of witchcraft is being practiced here but one of my kids has not liked or eaten bananas since he was a toddler. Him and his crew will come here for lunch once in a blue and what's his go-to order? The Nutella Protein Toast which has... yup, bananas. How did that happen but he still won't have a banana at home? Inside was very clean and everyone was very attentive and helpful. My wife got a salad, which I was originally going to get but she wound up talking me into getting one of their bowls. I can't get past the prices. Example: To order a "make your own" salad online, the price starts at $10. That only includes the lettuce. Every item added incurs an extra cost. Protein (including avocado) is $4.00 extra. Each vegetable, topping, etc, is extra. After adding only 3 things to my plain lettuce, seeing $16.49 turned me off. To think, I wanted to add at least 3 more normal things. They even charge for the dressing. I'm not talking "extra" dressing. I mean for the dressing that would normally be included with a salad. I couldn't get myself to place the order after that. They do have pre-determined salads with more ingredients, with the pricing set (around $15-$16.50), however... If you try to change something, you get charged extra for the replacement. Example: I don't like gargonzola cheese. I tried to change it to cheddar, extra $.075. Why? That makes no sense. read more

I thought I was a regular, I guess the customer really doesn't count anyway here I had an employee basically try to overcharge me for something that I know I paid $3.29 for they are totally inconsistent in regards to what have tried to charge me anywhere from $3.29 to 8 dollars so I questioned the difference in the price which was only at that point an extra 150 the money is not the point the sarcasm and nastiness of the girl that I encountered at that cash register goes above and beyond anything, they have absolutely zero sympathy towards anybody that comes in with any type of like illness, especially when this whole thing was just $3.29 if you have any loved ones that suffer from any type of World Trade Center related illnesses or just cancer in general this place has absolutely zero sympathy or compassion very argumentative and the kids they have working in their absolutely have zero respect for anybody older or sick, This is my opinion, but it has been my experience. Had high hopes of this place after seeing good reviews. Stopped in to make a salad. I created a salad to go and the girl serving me asked if I wanted it tossed, I said yes. She proceeded to make the salad and told us to go by the register to pay. As we were about to pay, we noticed another worker instructed the girl to toss it in another to go container versus the big metal one. As they were flipping the salad, it fell all over the counter. Instead of tossing the food that fell all over the counter, the worker proceeded to pick it up and add it back to my bowl. I was very turned off that they would even think to do that. This place is a rip off. One paying more than $15 for a salad is ridiculous. My salad was over $16 dollars and then they give you one scoop of dressing and when I asked for a little more dressing because what they gave me didn't cover my salad they told me I had to pay extra. I go to this one and the one in Wayne often and now being that I got charged a $1 for a tiny scoop more of dressing I will not be back just for the point of it. I'm not cheap but $18 dollars for a bowl of salad is crazy and charging me $1.00 for a tiny scoop of dressing is out of my mind crazy. I will not be coming back again.
