I took my 2013 Ford Focus in for service. The car shuddered! I had it into the dealer where I purchased it twice before and I was told they knew their was an issue with the transmission in these cars... Gresham Ford told me the car was running fine No problem with the transmission.. I had no option but to trade the car in with a significant loss on the trade in! Got a low key fob battery reading, so went to Ford for a new battery, but somehow my fob lost its programming. Ford tried all they could but was just dead. Karl looked for & found the alternate way for me to drive home by inserting my key fob instead of the usual push button until I could make an appt with my other fob to reprogram this one. I was worried about driving with the fob inserted because I was scared of somehow being stranded. He assured me that I wouldn't & explained that it still had like 2 inches range of emitting frequency or something like that. I was also concerned about the possibility of having to wait weeks for that appt. It was already the end of their day. He could see that I was worried and was kind enough to say to be there the next morning at 9am for his foreman to reprogram it. Both fobs ended up being no good anymore and he arranged for me to get two new fobs. I cannot express enough my appreciation for his genuine care and concern for my plight. I was truly touched by the level of help received. He could have easily just sent me on my way home saying to call to make an appt. Thank you again I am also thankful for all the other employees there, like Jordan, etc. I wish I could remember all their names. Was very impressed with the customer service here. Came in for oil change. Pulled up and went in, was greeted promptly and checked in my vehicle. Ian asked what I needed and he asked if that was all. Sat in very clean waiting room. Was comfortable during my wait. My truck was done in about 30 min. They presented me with a checklist of what was done and said all was well. They didn't try to force other services or products onto me like other places which I really appreciate. Needed a recall repair on our Focus Electric. Part was ordered quickly, and repair was completed very quickly!

August 2018 On July 11, 2018 I brought my 1999 Mustang GT to Gresham Ford to have the air conditioning looked at and the key fob replaced. They brought my car out and said the AC works and the put die in the Freon line to detect future leaks. The total cost was $202.64 with $55.71 going to the key fob and $146.93 going to the air conditioner. A week later the AC stopped working and I returned the car to Gresham Ford on July 26, 2018. I wanted to replace two dash light bulbs and have the left rear window motor repaired and of course have the AC analyzed. They brought the car out and said, "Both rear windows were inoperable and Ford no longer makes rear window motors for 1999 Mustangs." To be fair, when I got in the Mustang back, both rear windows worked. Only the passenger side window worked when I brought it in. But, they told me neither window worked. and were surprised when I told them that both windows now work. It's hard to give them credit for fixing the the drivers side rear window when they said it did not work and no parts were available. He obviously shook some wires in the driver door panel which made a connection unknown to them. They offered to replace ten more dash light bulbs at $11.50 each which would have been an additional $115.00 for parts, I am not sure what the additional cost for labor would have been because I declined. They also stated, "The AC pump had a leak and repair cost would be $1168.00." I declined this repair also. I went across the street to Advanced Auto Parts and bought the AC pump for $140.00. I jacked the car up and proceeded to analyze the AC pump situation before swapping it out. I realized the Freon pressure valve was finger tight. I immediately tightened the pressure valve to the closed position. I then bought Freon and pressurized the system myself. And my AC has been working excellent since. I went back to Gresham Ford and requested $100.00 of the initial $143.93 to be refunded me for their mistake and my cost to fix the AC. A women general manager refused to give me a refund of any kind. The bottom line is two trip to Gresham Ford for a total of $424.64 amounted to two dash light bulbs and key fob. Either way you look at it Gresham Ford is negligent. Either this mechanic did not have sense enough to close a valve before adding Freon or the AC pressure valve was purposely put finger tight so the Freon would slowly bleed off and they could sell me a new AC pump for $1160.00. Are you going to pour water in you radiator with the drain plug open? This is what Gresham Ford did with my AC pump. This was supposed to be a professional certified Ford mechanic and he is putting costly Freon in a pressurized system with the pressure valve not tight. You be the judge. I prepaid & when I came back for it to be installed, it didn't fit. They had to get me another that was more expensive but didn't charge me the difference. That's customer service! Very disrespectful and rude. Played games and beat around the bush. Finally did make a deal on a 2016 ford fusion energi it lacked some features i wanted but i let it slide. The issues really started once I bought it. I have owned it 9 mo now and have had to take it back to the dealer 4 times. Everyone there was rude and called me a liar to my face about issues that are still not resoved on my car. They are not helpfull and by far the worst car buying expirence I have ever had. I took my 2017 Ford Edge to Gresham Ford to fix a few small problems under warranty, including replacing a rubber door seal which had come loose. They had the car for 2 days and never replaced the door seal (they said they would need the car for a 3rd day to fix that), and said they saw no problem with the wind noise in the driver's door, and the erratic outside temperature sensor. I guess they thought I had an overactive imagination. They are slow as molasses, and seem unaware that it is very inconvenient to be without the use of a vehicle. I will go to another metro area dealership to actually fix something. read more

They went above and beyond and accommodated my schedule since I had already spent my time previously coming out to their location. They drove to my work to pick up my car and give me a loaner. We were making our way through Gresham Friday night late, and our RV had an engine problem. Our coach went from sounding like a well-oiled machine to a one cylinder badly tuned Harley Davidson in one short stroke of a cylinder. I quickly found a place to pull over and investigate. I discovered what I believed to be an engine issue that was trip ending, and felt a deep sinking feeling in my heart. When I looked at the engine I saw a spark plug sitting on the top of the block with a stripped out hole in the block where it used to reside. I was certain that this was a game changer and I would have to terminate my holiday, pay an exorbitant towing fee and leave the RV somewhere for what would, no doubt, be a fee that I would be pained by for some time well into the future. I called Ian and he was very empathetic to my plight and said if I could somehow get the RV over to your dealership that they would see what, if anything, they could do. I decided against the towing service and drove my RV to your location. Chugging along on the nine remaining cylinders through Gresham with my emergency flashers on for the six miles to your dealership at close to midnight was, well, interesting. Here is the beginning of when I noticed the presence of Jesus was in the RV that night as well. I limped my RV to your dealership which was only 6 minutes away from my breakdown location. Totally a coincidence? I think not. Next, Ian greeted me and my family and started the paperwork. The breakdown needed very little diagnostic endeavor when I handed him the spark plug from the #9 cylinder from my Triton V10 motor. Ian said that there was little they could do on Friday night at nearly midnight and we would likely be realistically looking at some time on Monday at the earliest for the probability of coach to be repaired. He offered to let us park the RV in your lot overnight and sleep in it, (he did attempt to get the nod of management prior, but apparently was unable to, so he acted in the best interests of the customer). Finishing the paperwork he walked us over to a spot where we could park for the night when two of your mechanics approached him and started whispering together. What I heard next from Ian was something totally unexpected and quite honestly unheard of in today's vacuous state of customer service. Apparently Brendan Beaver and "Rocky" had offered to Ian that they were willing to stay and do the repair. Mind you, this was by now around 12:30am on Saturday morning. When Ian made the offer I found myself in a state of disbelief and was dumbstruck. I don't know whether your staff walk with the Lord, (I suspect they do), but I do know that on this night their actions were indeed walking that walk, and by that, I do mean "IN DEED". We were offered a seat in your service waiting room, the TV was turned back on, our pets were made comfortable, and we began our wait for the repair to be completed. It is now 8:00 am on Saturday morning. My RV is repaired, my family is rested and there is nothing to hold us up from continuing our vacation. You are an extremely fortunate employer to find men of this character and caliber. They quite simply and one in a million and you have been able to attract and retain these people for quite some time. My highest compliments to you, your staff, and your dealership. There quite simply are no words to express my gratitude for the selfless acts each of your staff performed for us. I am thankful, grateful, appreciative and glad to have found such an organization that goes well beyond anything called the "extra mile". My sincere thanks to you and your company. read more

The service department is shady. I took my 99 Expedition here regularly. At 145,000 they say my engine completely died.

My girlfriend took her F350 in to have the serpentine belt replaced at 100,000 miles. She also had the oil changed among some other 100K maintenance items. When she got home and we looked under the hood we noticed it didn't appear anyone had done any work. When she returned and questioned why the belt wasn't replaced the service manager said "they forgot". They offered to put the belt in for her but she opted to get her money back and go elsewhere. I assume they did the other things they charged her for but it makes me wonder how often they "forget" to do work they charge for. I would recommend checking to make sure the work has actually been done before you leave the premise. read more

Fast service for an oil change and being open until 12:00am is a plus during the week. However, if you are in a position, such as the cashier, that deals with people all day and are sick you should not come to work. The whole time we were there yesterday she sounded like she was hacking up a lung and when we went to pay there was no sign of cough drops, cough syrup, tea or anything else to fight a cold or quiet her cough. As a previous owner of a 2013 Taurus, purchased from Gresham Ford, I was a very satisfied customer until my vehicle was stolen out of my driveway last month. It was an unsettling event to say the least, but the entire team at Gresham Ford turned it into a positive experience. The car was stolen on a Saturday night and by Monday morning I had a loaner car as I began the insurance claim. The insurance claim took about two weeks to process and during this time Preston Wills was able to identify a 2015 Taurus that met my needs. Once the vehicle arrived at Gresham Ford, as I hadn't seen it, to say I was thrilled is an understatement. The vehicle was absolutely beautiful!! During the financing and registration process I was offered a very fair extended warranty as this was a used vehicle. It was suggested to purchase this as this car has all of the latest technology and electronics the industry offers and I felt it was a wise investment. Disclaimer: This review comes from only one experience. I needed three repairs done to my car. Went in, and was told up front that it was hard for them to estimate how long these repairs might take because they were somewhat uncommon and because there was three of them. They told me three hours. I went and killed some time, then came back and sat to read one of my old favorites, Dune. 2 hrs and 50 minutes after arriving, they came out and told me my car was done. I was charged exactly what I was estimated, the car works, and it was finished promptly. I noted that he put a mark to the mechanic that there was a three hour time limit for him, which was nice. read more

We discovered the wonderful customer service at Gresham Ford a couple of years ago after we purchased a 350 Ford dually pick up truck from another local dealership. The dealership we bought the truck from was Gresham Dodge, and I won't go into all the frustrations we had encountered with Gresham Dodge but I will just say I don't recommend them. When engine light came on shortly after we purchased the vehicle we schedule an appointment with Gresham Dodge's repair shop as we had purchased an extended warranty with a promise of a zero deductible if we bring our vehicle to Gresham Dodge for all repairs or services. We had taken time off work to take the truck down for our scheduled appointment at Gresham Dodge's repair shop only to be turned away because it was a Ford. Which was weird, as I told them the make and model when I made the appointment with them, besides we were never told that when they sold us the warranty. I had taken time off work to get it there, so I was frustrated and not certain I could get in at another shop in such short notice. We called Gresham Ford and explained the situation to them and they got us in on the same day! The repair shop at Gresham Ford was great, it turned out to be a very costly repair for our warranty company as the engine needed to be replaced. Gresham Ford's wonderful service repair staff worked closely with us and the warranty company explaining their findings and what needed to happen. We have been using Gresham Ford for all of our oil changes, maintenance and repairs ever since. I have never purchased a vehicle from Gresham Ford but their sales staff have never been pushy when I have browsed their lot while waiting for our truck. I am thinking maybe they are just different from other dealerships and have a different philosophy. All I know is that they have always been great to us! read more

I've been going to Gresham Ford for almost a decade. I've had two Expeditions. I love Ford vehicles, but this service department always make me question if I should continue to buy Ford vehicles. On my first expedition the door entry pad had lights go out. Thought that would be easy to fix. Went to Gresham Ford and the lights started working. They said to just bring it back when they weren't working and they would fix it under warranty. It was difficult to get in when the lights were out as you really only saw it when it was night when they were closed. They were so nice about it though I thought it would be fine to bring it in when I could see they were out. One day I noticed it and brought it in and now I'm told its out of warranty and I have to pay out of pocket. I thought this was wrong, but after them insistent on them not paying I finally just fixed it out of pocket. Then it went out again! I went back in and it was working. They can't look at it unless they can see it not working. Came back when it was not working again. You can pay out of pocket for another new pad? WHAT? this is ridiculous! I went to another dealership to get it replaced. It worked until we sold that Expedition. On that same expedition we had some electrical issues with the door locks. Very similar experience to the entry pad. At that time we went to a Ford dealership that was quite a bit further away to avoid the horrible service issues. Once we got our new Expedition we experienced an issue where the steering slipped while turning. We took it in to Gresham Ford hopefully the issues had been resolved. We were still under factory warranty. They said they replaced the steering column. Only a few months later it slipped again. We called and they said its out of warranty. When we brought it in for an oil change we asked about it and they said they could look at it we should schedule an appointment. We scheduled an appointment. I re-arranged my whole schedule and when I got there? It's out of warranty! I've got a few issues that I would love to have a service department look at like the key pad on my new expedition and brake service, but I'll have to do it myself or drive to another service shop since I can't trust my local Ford service department. I likely wont buy another Ford not because I don't like the vehicles, but because I can't get a trustworthy service department. Have a Ford in the Gresham area? I wouldn't bring it to Gresham Ford. read more

I took my 2005 Ford Escape in to have the brakes bleed on two occasion. The check engine light was on and the brake warning message was displayed. (First visit) After several attempts to bleed the brake system, they decided that there must be something wrong with the HBU/ABS unit. I paid approximately $300 to get the vehicle back in the same condition that it was in when it arrived. After replacing the HBU/ABS unit myself at considerable cost and time, I returned the vehicle to Gresham Ford to complete the brake bleed. (Second visit). Once again Gresham Ford was unsuccessful after several attempts at bleeding my brake system. I spoke directly with the shop foreman at length and offered a few suggestions. He was not interested in my input and was "done" working on my vehicle. I went in and paid an additional $200 charge to pick it up in the same condition that it arrived. While I was standing at the cashiers window, the shop foreman began a loud disparaging tirade with the parts man about the my vehicle and myself. I finally interrupted by saying "I'm standing right here." No apology was offered. I was subsequently successful in doing the brake bleed myself after purchasing the necessary tools. No parts were replaced. I just did the labor that Gresham Ford was not able to do. Notes: Gresham Ford did provide "discounts" on the work that was done. Had they not, the total cost would have been $800 to $1000. After completing the work myself, I ask for a refund which was refused. read more

I have used him for my last 2 purchases, and is honest and really works hard to get you a good deal. Now to the main complement. Recently had my oil changed at another Ford quicklane, and the tech noticed thay my engine cover was missing. I thougt about it, and remebered months ago, I had some engine work done at Gresham Ford, and they are the only ones that worked on it since I have owned it, so I thought that maybe the forgot to put it back on (easy mistake). I checked with the service dept. and they could not find one. So I left a message with Cher, the service manager to inquire about replacing it (thinking they must have left it off). She called me back, and looked at my repair history, and the mechainic who worked on it last, noted it was missing at that time as well. So I thought I would just then have to buy the part, about $80 +/-, but Cher told me that even though it was missing before they did the engine work, they were still going to replace it form me! That was so nice of her, that is why I always buy my vehcicles from Gresham Ford, and will buy my next one there. The customer service is OUTSTANDING! Great Service department, go see Carl in service! Gresham Ford blew me away with their customer service. I was in the market for one of those new hot hatches. The Ford Focus RS. However I was late to the game when it came to ordering one. I must of called at least 7 Ford dealerships. 4 of those 7 laughed in my face and basically said "good luck buddy." 2 of them informed me that they were all allocated for but they could put me on a 16 person wait list. I nearly gave up when I decided to give Gresham Ford a try. When I told them what I was looking forward they said it'd be tough but they'd work on it. About 15 minutes later I got a call back and they found me one! I ordered my RS in March and I picked it up the last week of July. As you can guess those four months I was very excited and the Sales Manager Van Austin very kindly called me with weekly updates. He always made sure I was happy. And when the car arrived Van even came in on his day off so I didn't have to wait another day to get my car. Customer service has issues first off somehow i ended up with 2 different people working on my credit app but phone messages where matching up with conversation so i assumed they were were working together as i finance rep and salesperson. Then i message them the next day and the only respone i get is " apparenty you already working with so and so already you they will have to reach out you" i wont mention names but personlly it reflects on the whole team if they got the mentality of your not my commision so talk to someone else. There was no let me check or ill direct your message to your salesperson just basically a piss off. read more
