Having purchased many vehicles and some financed, I was dreading the thought of buying a new car because most dealers are waiting for the next opportunity to "take you for a ride". Not so at Gresham Dodge. I had my down payment together and all of my information for financing and sent a contact mail late one evening on a 2014 Challenger R/T. Terry Soriano called me the very next morning and we discussed my situation. I had a 1994 Corvette and some down, but was afraid that I couldn't get financed because of my credit. He told me that I would be surprised at what they were able to do at this dealership. So, we set up to meet that weekend. My wife and I arrived on Saturday afternoon and took the Challenger for a test drive. All the while, I already knew I wanted it and financing would be the issue. Sunday we returned with the trade and the first part of the cash for the down payment. The remainder of the cash would be paid within a week from a cash out of some investments I had made. Will Hatton, Ron (forgot his last name), and Andrew Suvanvej in finance were able to work nothing less than a miracle in my eyes. Not only did they do better than the 20% interest quoted by other dealers, but they got it to under 8% with my BAD credit. I'm not saying that this would be possible for everyone, but it does show that they can make what might impossible turn to reality. I will never buy a car from any other dealer, used or new. These are my go to guys from now on. If you need a car and are being given payment horror stories by other dealers, go see these guys. You'll be glad you did! I got the payment I needed and had a great time when I was there. It was fast, and more like hanging out with family and old friends than buying a car. We even spent an hour or so after everything was done to just talk, joke , and laugh together. This wasn't just about the sale and making money for these guys, it was about doing the right thing. UPDATE!: I just took my truck into the dealership where I bought the truck. They confirmed my concern and also found no power at the OBD port. They located and replaced a bad fuse, (#51), (visually looked good but tested bad) which restored power to the radio and OBD port. Radio and key fobs still inoperative. After the system was REINITIALIZED (as Gresham should have done) one key fob worked but not the other. They reprogrammed the second key fob and it now works. The radio still does not work...internal failure. They told me there have been problems with the radios and it could have happened as a result of service but it just as likely could have happened as a result of age and use. It cost me $159.95 for them to check it out and perform the repairs that Gresham Dodge should have done, but refused to in the hope I would bring it back and pay them to do what they should have done initially. As to the radio I guess I have to accept that it may have been it's time to die. read more

We received a safety recall on the shifter cable for our Promaster 2014 van. We received one that said no remedy was available yet and then a second notice that said the shifter cable needed to be replaced so we needed to call a dealership to schedule an APPOINTMENT since our time was valuable, blah blah blah, to get the cable replaced for free. Safety recall Woo/NHSA 20V-036. We called Gresham Ram Dodge dealership day before yesterday and got an appointment for yesterday morning at 9. Lance was the employee my husband spoke with. My husband explained that we were having to drive from 65 miles away so could we have a loaner car. Lance said no but that there was a shuttle. Well, due to Covid 19 we decided we needed to drive 2 vehicles and maybe could go to Cosco while we waited. Of course it was pouring and the drive down 84 with standing water was not pleasant. After an hour and 15 minute drive one way, and another 1/2 hour there waiting to get checked in we found out they did not have the part. We went to talk to the service manger with our masks on, and see there is a fence up distancing people for Covid so you can't get closer to him, Clayton Birtell, than 6 feet. He says he is the service manager. Fine with us since he has no mask on. As we getter madder and madder, he tell's me he can't hear me so I have to yell to be heard at that distance through my mask. It was loud because we were in the middle of the entire service area. I thought maybe he would pull us aside somewhere but he did not not so we had to yell through the masks! He tells us no one has the cable, as if we were supposed to know that! He said Lance was new and did he check if the part was in! Clayton tells me I'm getting hostile and I explain I have to yell to be heard according to him. He asked why we didn't go to Urness in The Dalles! Not close for us either! I said a friend bought a van in Gresham because he liked ours and suggested we go there since we were unimpressed with the service dept at Urness. Clayton told us sorry but we explained that did not help us at all and that they should pay for our gas to which he said he wasn't going to. Clayton Birtell had zero interest in doing anything for us so I told him I would be writing bad reviews wherever I could. Be warned they've changed their service department and it's affecting the experience. I bought my Jeep at Dicks Country Dodge but it's too far to go for regular oil changes. I've brought my Jeep here over the past 2+ years for unscheduled oil changes and always been able to get in if you show up in the morning - weekday or Saturdays. I was disappointed to learn that they are only doing scheduled oil changes now and they are booked for about a week except during the middle of a weekday. I left and went down the street where I was able to get my oil changed without an appointment or a wait. I will not be returning to the dealership at this point for oil changes or other service work. read more

Painful experience with horrible customer service. Our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica was there for 56 days!! It required a warranty transmission replacement. Gresham Chrysler sat on it for weeks doing no work. It required us getting Chrysler customer care involved to get them to move forward with repairs. I now know that warranty repairs are the bottom of the food chain with dealerships. We also found out that Chrysler authorized $1800 in loaner reimbursement to Gresham Chrysler and Gresham Chrysler gave us an in house loaner that they charged Chrysler for. The loaner was in no way comparable to the size of my mini van and I asked repeatedly for a larger loaner with no luck until Chrysler customer care stepped in. This dealership gave us the run around for weeks until we got assertive. Amazingly our Pacifica was finished to the day that the $1800 reimbursement from Chrysler ran out. When they returned the Pacifica to us it made this horrible noise that they refused to fix or even acknowledge that something was wrong. We took it to Dicks Chrysler in Hillsboro and they repaired what Gresham failed to do. Gresham Chrysler failed to hook up the exhaust correctly after installing the new transmission and they forgot to hook up our GPS antenna. They made a horrible stressful experience even more horrible!! Wish I could give no stars read more

Absolutely horrible customer service!!! It's amazing how difficult it is to schedule an oil change and then it takes over 2 hours when you have an apt!! This place is a joke! Went in for warranty work and told them that the front bumper and rear bumper has freshly been painted. Ask them to check for any codes in the computer and they said they did not find anything whatsoever. When my truck was done they ended up scratching my front bumper and my drivers door. And before I even got out of the lot I looked things over and had them re-check the codes and I had three new codes after they were done. Of course they never had them in there before they said. I said of course not you check them and now we checked them again so I didn't do it so evidently the work you've done on the electronics left codes and now you're doing nothing about. All they could do was argue the situation. So as I drove my vehicle home and parked it I noticed the receiver dryer they installed for the air conditioner was silver color and looked horrible through my front grill. My truck is blacked out in the front and all you can see is this great big silver Area in the front. They evidently take no pride in what they do and do not check their work. If I have anything else done including warranty work I will definitely not go to this place. I have been a mechanic over 40 years and prefer not to let them touch anything if it all possible. And arguing about codes in my computer was not the thing to do. Do you want me to fill out. A 40 question questionnaire on how they did. I'm not going to waste my time because I can't really say much of anything good. So I see that the dealer has read my comments but not willing to try to work anything out about the $700 front bumper was painted on my vehicle which they scratched up by pulling out the grill. We bought a 2006 Ford Mustang on 4-8-16 from Tanya. Tanya told us that the car had gone through their multipoint inspection and it was good to go. Well, needless to say the car was not good to go. While looking at the car we noticed one of the brake lights was out along with the license plate light. Funny how I was assured this car had gone through their service department and had been all checked out. When we tried to negotiate the price of the car lower because of the two lights out and several other issues with the car Tanya tells us that they are only making $250 on the car and she is only making 15% off of the $250 dollars so the car is as is. We then buy the car because they tell us that the car is guaranteed to pass DEQ (the car had no plates on it) but then three days later the car will not pass DEQ. We are now told by Gresham Dodge to bring the car back out to them so they can fix it and make it pass. Why would they need to do that when it supposedly passed their multi point inspection. Also, when we sat down to get the paperwork we were told that we needed to take the car to DEQ and then bring the form back to them and then they would give us the license plates. Well all fine and good but we live in Sherwood so it is an hour drive each way. How come they do not just take the vehicle through DEQ themselves to make it easier on the customer. Oh wait, it is not their time that is being wasted. Long story short they are liars their and do not believe anything they tell you. I will never do any business with them again and will tell anyone I can how I was lied to and misled on our car. This place is a joke. read more

I usually pay close attention to reviews, but decided to give Gresham Dodge a chance despite the less-than-attractive rating I saw posted online. What. A. Mistake. Turns out, paying attention to reviews is a wise idea when one is about to make a $30K+ purchase. Almost everything that could have gone wrong with this place did. It was a comedy of errors. Things went so sitcom-worthy-badly that it would have been funny had it not involved me personally. Or a purchase of a new vehicle. But it did, and I deeply regret having any involvement with Gresham Dodge. In fairness, I gave the place multiple opportunities to fix the problems I had. And even then, when they failed miserably to follow-through on their half-hearted promises to fix their own mistakes, I avoided posting a bad review. Because negativity sucks and there is already too much of it online. But ultimately, I decided that I needed to post something as a public service to my fellow Oregonians or any out-of-staters who decide to add to our state's GDP (thanks, BTW!). A car purchase is a huge deal, and there are lots of options out there. Please don't pick this one. And if you - like me - choose to disregard these reviews or write them off as angry-will-never-be-happy-about-anything-miserable-internet-trolls like I did, well, buckle-up because you're about to risk the twilight-zone of bad car purchasing experiences. I won't rehash specifics, but here's a brief overview: 1) the first salesperson I spoke to unapologetically lied to me like I was at some used car shop named something like Barry's Cherry's in some sketchy neighborhood, rather than an actual dealership, 2) the second sales person told me the first salesperson isn't trustworthy and often misstates the truth, 3) they promised a few things related to my new vehicle, didn't do the things promised, and the apology consisted of "sorry, but we got busy," which is interesting because they never looked all-that-busy during the many unnecessary hours I spent there and they had plenty of time to smoke and talk about colleagues and male anatomy, 4) I would not trust any of the sales people to be alone in a car with a woman based on what I witnessed while waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, 5) their managerial staff lack basic customer-service skills or the ability to address concerns, 6) I had to return to this forsaken location multiple times because of paperwork errors made by the Gresham sales/financing staff. All-in-all, I easily sunk 10 hours of wasted time into repeat trips and waiting at their facility. This whine list doesn't come close to capturing the agony and frustration I felt, mixed with deep regret, like the time I thought it would be a good idea to eat three Big Mac's and a large fry at 11:30 p.m. after a 10 mile run. Only imagine those Big Mac's cost me more than a trailer home in Montana and that comes close to how I felt. I tried to remedy these problems by working directly with the staff at Gresham Dodge. I am a reasonable, normally-easy-going person. I dislike complaining. I am an advocate for people needing to have thick skins. But my experience crossed a threshold that I felt was unacceptable, and imposed an obligation of disclosure to my fellow community members. Had Gresham Dodge done the bare minimum of correcting any of the multiple wrongs that occurred, I would have justified myself in forgoing a review. But they failed spectacularly. So, while Gresham Dodge did not remedy its many wrongs related to my transaction, I will feel some peace knowing that my experience may help a neighbor avoid their own carmageddon (trademark me, 2017). Buying a new car should be a fun, exciting experience. Not being chased by a great-white-shark exciting, but driving off the lot with a car you love and at a fair price exciting. I hope your excitement is more like the latter kind. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I HAD READ THE BAD REVIEWS BEFORE BUT TOOK IT TO THIS DEALERSHIP ANYWAY!! Needed our 2016 dodge caravan side sliding door look repaired. Took two weeks to get an appointment. Took it in and was told that I would receive a phone call to keep me updated. 7 hours later "I called" for an update. Was told piece was needed to be ordered that would take 5-7 days to come in. 7 days later "I called" to check if it was time to take my vehicle back in for the repair (keep in mind I'm driving around town transporting twin toddlers,with a sliding door that doesn't lock!!!) and left a message and no return phone call to this day. The used car dealership has called numerous times because they are paying for the repair, and still no response from anyone. All of this has happened from the beginning to now in a 5 week period!!!!! Made arrangements to take to another dodge dealership out of the area. TRUST ME DON'T DEAL WITH THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! read more

After looking through other reviews I'm pleased to see that it wasn't just me who received below average service. I took my 2018 2500 in for a recall appointment. My truck was scheduled to be serviced at 8am. At the time of check-in, I was told by a very nice woman that my truck would be ready no later than 3pm. Well 3pm rolls around and guess what? My truck has not even been looked at. I was given a menagerie of excuses. None of which explaining why my vehicle was not serviced, when I had an appointment. Initially, I was told I would need to reschedule, or they could keep my truck overnight and have it ready by noon the next day. At no point was I offered compensation or even a rental car. After a lengthy and heated conversation, I was told my truck would be serviced immediately and would be ready at 5pm, again no compensation for my time was offered. While this service department is the closest to us geographically, I will never bring my service requirements, or money back, to this establishment, especially not for buying a car. Do yourself a favor, go literally anywhere else. Stay tuned for if my truck will be ready at five. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. I've been driving my 2005 dodge neon around for 5 years with no problems, I bought it 5 years ago with 30,000 miles on It and only had one user. The check engine light came on and the car started shaking every time I drove it so I bought it to dodge. They took 4 days just to tell me what was wrong with it, I paid $580 for them to fix a "broken valve" and clean out the pipes. I went back to pick up my car, they forgot to do the oil change so they kept the car and said they would call me later in the day. Never called me, I came back the next day to get my car, paid for it, went to drive it and it was completely dead. They now said the car battery died which is a separate issue and wanted $160 to fix that. I paid for the car battery, my car was still not ready for another two days and two visits later. When I finally picked my car up, there was a loud noise of air blowing coming from under the hood so I had my dad take a look at it and there was a hose sticking straight up blowing air out! I was so tired of dealing with dodge, my dad just reconnected the hose and I hoped it would be fine. Two days later my car starts to overheat which it has never done once before in the last 5 years. It overheated twice that day so I took it back into dodge to tell them what's going on and demand that they fix it because I believe the loose air hose caused the over heating (we checked the coolant, fluids, everything else was fine). They took 3 days to look at it again, then diagnosed it with having a blown gasket which would cost $3700 to fix. They refuse to take any responsibility for the sloppy job they did on my car and then asked me to pay $200 for them to tell me what's wrong with it. I took my car and left, I will never buy or take my car to any dodge again. I'm going to have to purchase a new car because now my car is basically totaled, although I will get a second opinion first, but I will not purchase a dodge car. The service dealer Kristin was completely not helpful, talked so fast so you never really understood what was going on with your car, never once mentioned I would have to pay for them to diagnose it again, and then, hysterically, yelled at me that I would have to live with myself for being a liar... wtf customer service is that. read more

This review is solely for the service department, not sales or any other department since I have not dealt with them (parts department is great though). I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel and have been taking it to this shop for warranty and recall work over the last 3 years. I am ok with it being a hassle to drop of my car and get a rental car, which by the way, they do a great job making sure you have a ride or a loaner vehicle and that is why they get the 1 star. What I am not okay with is dropping off my car and being told it will be ready by the end of the day and then not only it not being ready, but they don't even call to let me know before they close. Anyways, I had a check engine light come on about a year ago with a code that indicated the diesel particulate filter wasn't filtering properly so I took it in the get looked at. I had the vehicle back within a day or two with the light off and all was good. After driving about 10 miles the light can back on for the exact same problem. I understand there is a process of elimination for some issues which takes a couple tries sometimes and I am fine with that. So, I take it back to have it looked at again. I ended up taking it back for the exact same thing 3 or 4 times I believe, before they decided to replace the sensors. After I picked it up this time, the light stayed off for about 500 miles before illuminating once again. This time I am told the particulate filter needs to be replaced, which is a $2500-$3000 part (under warranty) and Jim in the service department told me it was on back order and should take about two weeks and that I should expect a call around then to schedule the installation. I left happy that the problem would finally be replaced. After two weeks I had not received a call, however I was leaving for vacation and I figured I may get the call while I was gone. After a month I still had not received any calls or messages, only a text saying they hope I was satisfied with my service experience. No, I am not. Since then I have called multiple times, left various messages, and even sent emails asking someone to contact me. Still nothing. It has been just about two months since I was told it was going to be two weeks. Additionally, since I have had the exhaust sensors replaced I have noticed a terrible rattle under the car when the engine is running. I finally got sick of it yesterday and crawled under the jeep to see what the issue was, turns out someone left a couple sensors completely unthreaded and they were rattling from the engine vibrations. I really hope it didn't cause any further damage. I understand mistakes can happen, but this one was fairly obvious. This is my honest recollection of my experience with the service department, with Jim in particular, and I made a point not to exaggerate. I am very dissatisfied with the service I received and would not feel comfortable recommending anyone to have their vehicle serviced here. I hope other customers don't have the same experience. I took in my 2015 Jeep Cherokee for an engine light diagnosis and Service Electronic Throttle Control light. I had an appointment at 5pm on Friday night, my vehicle wasn't even looked at until 9pm that night and only after I called to get an update on it. When the service writer told me about the readings (above), which I told them about when dropping it off. I tole the writer that I was really disappointed that my vehicle had sat for 4 hours before being looked at and then only because I called. As a customer, that shouldn't be the case. She then said the tech was going to take it out for a drive to see if he could recreate the codes again. I never heard back from them. Then I had to call again the following morning to get an update. The "Saturday Service Adviser" John said it wasn't on his list for service that day so he had no information. Repeating the situation to him from the night before, he again said that because it was from the day before and from another writer, he didn't have any information. I told him that that was unacceptable and that I would be coming to pick-up my vehicle within the hour and I would not be paying for anything. When I got to the dealership, they had pulled the vehicle into the service bay, told me there was no engine or service light on the dash but they did fill my tire since that light was on. I again repeated the scenario from the night before and asked why it had not been serviced when I had an appointment and they didn't contact me PERIOD. He had nothing to say other than he was pretty sure he would have a technician available to look at it but it wouldn't be until later in the day, around 2pm. It was 1030am when I picked it up. I told him not to bother because I was going to take it to another mechanic. He didn't say another word to me, handed me the keys and I left. Granted, this was my first experience with them however, it was a pretty crappy experience and I will be basing my next experience with them on the first one. They had one chance to make a great first impression on me with this experience but they failed miserably. Perhaps they could improve their daily processes and pass-down for the crew working the following day. The fact that they didn't even try to save my business and just let me walk away told me they weren't interested in obtaining my business at all. read more

They actually have sales people you can trust!! Sterling took care of the whole process super professionally, went above and beyond and made it super easy! No pressure at all too. I bought Volkswagen Jetta 2014 and so far it's been a great car with no issues, which I don't expect to see any time soon. She's a crotchety old hag who rolled her eyes and threw a fit when I had a coupon for my oil change (sorry, wasn't going to pay almost $90 for only an oil change) then she had the audacity to slap my husbands hand away when he went to grab HIS receipt. I was extremely angry at this point and then angry went to LIVID when they lost my car for a solid 30 minutes. Not a single person apologized or even seemed to care. Needed a leaf spring replaced on a dodge dakota. Took 2 weeks for these guys to ship the parts from across town Milwaukee Oregon to Gresham oregon. The service writer was unconcerned that i was having to pay $ to rent a car during the 2 weeks. Finally got frustrated and threatened to take my truck else where for the work and the leaf spring magically arrived the next day. in summary, ended up paying close to $500 in rental fees because these guys were dragging their feet. Worked with Jim on getting my 2011 Dodge van main computer replaced. I recently bought the van from Gresham Toyota (who I would not recommend to my worst enemy). Jim was great, & the service tech Ken actually called me right as he was working on the vehicle just to keep me in the loop. I really appreciate when someone keeps me in the loop. The repair was expensive, mostly as a result of the part, which I was quoted on right from the parts department, but have not had an issue since. One less star because it seems they are under staffed in there, & they should get some additional help for the service writers. Also some of the other employees are rough around the edges, but if you call & ask for Jim, you should be in good hands. If you have a Chrysler product that needs to be repaired, these guys are worth it! read more

I recently purchased a new Ram 1500 from this dealership and I found the staff friendly, courteous and professional. I conducted most of the transaction over the phone after locating the vehicle I wanted online. I spoke with Branden (sales guy) who researched and then confirmed that if I made the drive from the west side of the metro area they would do the deal I was requesting. True to his word I was basically in and out of the dealership within an hour and a few minutes. No haggling games, lies or shenanigans. Just an honest and friendly transaction. I was making an appointment for some warranty concerns over the phone for my 2500 ram. I felt like they were in such a hurry to get me off the phone and that i was inconveniencing them by wanting them to work on my truck. It sounded like my concerns were not important to them at all yet they were important to me as i plan on keeping this truck for a very long time. I made the appointment but did not go to it because of this. Now my ram is out of warranty and i will be paying for these concerns myself. Horrible. Went in and ordered parts from the parts department. Paid for parts they had to order and was told it would be 2 weeks before parts arrived. Okay fine. 3 almost 4 weeks later i call asking about the parts i ordered and paid for. They couldnt find where any parts where ever ordered or paid for. I had to take in my receipt to them that showed i had paid and what was ordered, to only then be told that nobody ever ordered the parts. I would have to wait another 2 weeks to get my parts. I get better service at the local napa, or oreilys. I wanted a refund as i couldnt wait another 2 weeks. Attitude was given by the dealership that i wanted a refund. (Its not my fault your employee's could make a simple order) finally got my refund, found my parts at another local dealer (in stock) and they where cheaper! Service Totally Sucks Or Management !!!, If I could rate a ZERO(0) I would. I purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler from CarMax a year ago, currently only 13,x miles it started having problems starting with the battery, as I called checking prices everyone said should take it to a dealer because I still had warranty left. So I called good ol Gresham since it was the closer to me. As soon as they found out that I didn't purchase from them was a complete bout face. Sorry but we can probably get you in about a month were booked up. I had my wife's 2015 Jeep Renegade towed to the Gresham Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership, as it was acting strangely (transmission maybe?) and the engine light was on. I was contacted the next day and was told that the car was likely acting strangely, because it was overdue for an oil change and that the oil level was low. Upon discussing this with my wife, she pointed to the oil-change sticker in the upper left corner of the windshield, which they did not replace. Nevertheless, the OLD sticker that's still there (as we speak) says it's not due for a change until 06/02/20 or 77,286 miles. Given her current odometer reading shows 76,661, someone there at Chrysler/Dodge screwed up the last time her oil was changed. Had we actually waited until June or 77,286 miles, who knows what kind of damage we'd be dealing with now. That said, I submitted a request to the service department requesting info on when we should actually return for routine maintenance. It's been a week. Still waiting for a call. read more

Last time I went to take my ram 3500 for service they did not do what I asked for. They told me to drop off night prior and next day around 1pm we went to go check on it and comes to a surprise they hadn't even touched it. Long story short, I told the gal what I wanted and once they were done they only did part of what I asked. What bothers me the most they don't even inspect your truck to see what needs to be done and now I'm having to fix an even bigger problem with my brakes since they never bothered to check them for me when I would get my oil change done. When I called to complain they didn't even care. They have all new techs that don't know what they are doing. Will never return. read more

I was and still am in the market to get a new truck ($20-$25K range) but this terrible place will not be getting my business. It has nothing to do with the sales associate that helped me out and the older gentleman that helped me as well. This review is for the service department who pretty much stole from me. I needed a spark plug replaced and I had to get to work that day due to certain circumstances and I explained this to them over the phone saying that i knew what the issue was and I needed to get my car back today or I could find someone who could do it for me. I was promised same day service which I took. dropped the car off around 10 A.M. and did not receive a call until 3:00 saying that the total on the service was $726 and they replaced all six spark plugs but wouldn't be able to get my car back to me until 5:00. All in all i was about to talk them down in price to an astonishing $420 to replace one bad spark plug. The parts totaled $40 and they charge me $375 for labor. I will not be buying anything from this terrible establishment - I will be buying a new dodge 1500 in the next month or so but not from this terrible estqablishment. read more

Brought my car in for a known issue, could only be one thing and a airbag recall. Wasn't able to get looked at the first day, asked if I was on the schedule for the next day and they couldn't tell me for sure even though my car was there all day. When I came to pickup my car they charged me for an evaluation fee that I never agreed to. They didn't state the cost of evaluation ahead of time and filled out the paperwork after I signed it to have them look at it. Won't be returning to this dealer for work. read more

We ordered a tow package for a 2007 Dodge Nitro and were told at 4:20 PM that none were in stock and the item had to be ordered from back east, and would take about a week to arrive. We called the dealer back at 9:00 am the next day to cancel the order and were told we'd receive a refund, but we had to pay a $41 restocking fee for a part that wasn't even in stock. Make sense? I actually wasn't going to write this review until I got a text from them asking to please write a review, received by the employee who was extremely unprofessional and rude. . . Where to even start. Teona has absolutely no customer service skills at all. Her attitude is exactly what lands them bad reviews for the service department. I brought my car in to be serviced knowing the issue was covered by my warranty (called and spoke with warranty company before making the appointment). When I dropped my car off I gave them all the information about my warranty - the number to call, contract number, and told them what my deductible was. Teona calls me after the diagnosis was done- talking 1 million miles an hour , the first thing that comes out of her mouth was "nothing is covered by your warranty, it's going to be $989" then proceeded to talk at extreme speeds about the issues going on with my vehicle. Multiple times during her rant I had said "mam, please slow down, excuse me mam can you hear me, hello?" Still continuing to talk them finally stops and says can you hear me ? I asked her to explain very slowly the issues with my car. I told her the issue she is telling me is covered by my warranty I'm looking at my paperwork... she kept telling me well most warranties don't cover this issue - said it many times. I then stated I have an extended warranty- she says oh.... what's the contract number .... I told her I gave all that information this am when I dropped it off and then questioned her on why she lied and told me it wasn't covered by my warranty when she never even called and talked to them..... she called then and wow how about that it's all covered only needed to pay my warranty deductible. Maybe she wasn't trained properly I'm not sure but I would have called the warranty company before calling me... I wouldn't even be writing this review. read more

We then paid to get the car inspected and once the dealership found out that the car was good, they told us that they were joking and could only sell the car to us for a thousand more than what they promised us. AWFUL SERVICE! I bought a used 2013 Dodge Journey from another dealership. I started having concerns about the transmission after it started to rev high and shift hard and hearing noises like maybe the bearings were bad. As there were also two recalls I chose to take it to Gresham Dodge so I stopped in one day, talked with them about all of the items I needed looked at, including the two recalls. I then made an appointment three weeks out (first availability) I dropped my car off the day before my appointment time so I could barrow my moms car while she was out of town. When I dropped off the car I had a list of items to be looked at. The rear hatch was broken, plastic on the side of the seat was broken, the transmission, the possible bearing noise and the two recalls. I watched the gal write it all out of the work order. I then specified I had the extended warranty with a $100 deductible and that is why I had a list to be done at once. I stated that if there was anything out of pocket over the $100 deductible to call me first to approve. I again, watched her write this on the work order. The transmission was the actual reason for the appointment. My appointment was on a Wednesday at 8:00am. Thursday afternoon (2:15) I sent a text message (this is their preferred method now) and asked status since I had not heard from anyone. I right away received " still waiting to hear back from my transmission tech, the workload in the shop is extremely heavy" then I simply asked if I would be able to pick up Friday evening as I would not have another car any longer. NO reply....Friday at 10:30 I sent another message asked if I could pick up that evening, NO reply.....Friday at noon I called asked for the adviser and sat on hold for over 10 minutes. Hung up and called back and asked for the service manager, twice, only voicemail. I called again and said I just needed a live person in service. Finally got thru to the adviser and was told his transmission tech was very busy and had not looked yet and that he would ask him to that day. we are now almost three days after my appointment time and still haven't even looked at it!!! I asked what had been looked at. He said he ordered the parts for the body but they would take a week to get there. He then told me the cost. I asked why they didn't call me to approve it before they ordered the parts? He said there were NO NOTES. WRONG, i watched her write it down. I then asked about the warranty coverage and he stated "I didn't know there was warranty": WRONG, again.....I watched her. He said he would call the warranty company and check on loaner cars and call me back. I asked him to make sure he called me back that day...NEVER HEARD BACK!! Monday morning about 10:00 I called and asked status. He said his transmission tech was overloaded with three weeks of work and had not looked at it. WHAT??? My appointment was how many days ago?? He said I will ask him to today....NO you said that Thursday and then Friday. I asked what they actually have done in almost a week....He said the two recalls and that I gave him the wrong number for the warranty...(later he calls me and says oh it was the right number but now they are closed due to the hurricane) I asked if they check the bearings and he says...what do you mean?? WHAT??? Now I feel like a broken record...I watched her write it. I said ok DO NOT TOUCH my car. I will pick it up tonight because I need a car. I asked why they were taking appointments if they were that behind.....??? We tried to catch up... Anyway, I called about and hour later and said it would be picked up in an hour to please make sure it is ready....My mom got there over an hour later and they had no clue what she was talking about....She was there over 30 minutes just trying to pick it up. Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a car dealership. The manager was terribly rude. I could hear him yelling about us when the salesperson asked if we could use a debit card. He obviously didn't like being interrupted while searching yahoo entertainment online. I would've walked right then and there if we hadn't actually wanted the truck. Will never go back. I am very unsatisfied with the techs service here due to the fact I was suppose to have an alignment done which I believe it didn't get done because it was still pulling to the right after taking it back 3 times on this issue my front tires were rotated. After the rotation I drove my car home parked in the garage went out Monday morning to find out I had a hole in my tire which happened to be a holiday which made it harder to get it fixed. I am concerned with the techs services due to the fact I have to return on the 10th of January to have my mirrors fixed but back on the subject jeep will not replace 2 tires which I have to purchase after them popping one tire due to a corner panel screw in my front tire. I have called back and talked to service to see what they would do for me they tried to send me somewhere else because their balancer was out of service and they said if I had bought it would screw up my car mechanically also throwing it off alignment again which would cost me more money out of pocket which my car is a 2016 jeep compass not very old as u can see. Enterprise has aloud me to purchase this car threw them with a warranty threw jeep and you folks will not take care problems when you make them as you can see I am a very upset customer with your tech services due to the fact your making me spend money when I don't need to spend money this should be on your services techs dime not mine Sincerely Dennis James Sanders read more
