Best parfait ever and really good coffee too. Love that their granola is gluten-free. Will be back

Solid choice for coffee and light breakfast for us! They are loaded with tasty treats! Great choice of coffee. All to enjoy in a lovely atmosphere! They have some great soundtrack playing. It appears to be some original tracks (not 100% sure). Creates a great vibe to get the morning rolling! Warning: coffee is a bit acidic/sour for my tastes. But the locals love it! read more

I was in New York last December and it was freezing outside so I Yelped the nearest coffee shop and stumbled upon this one. I came in and it was quite busy. Even though there was a line behind me the sweet cashier helped me with my order as it was my first time in there. I prefer my coffee sweet and creamy so she suggested the Honey Badger and Lemon Poppy Pound Cake, which I evidently found out was a vegan option. I am not a vegan so I thought this was not going to satisfy my taste buds, but to my surprise it was really good and Moist. The slice itself is generous so I didn't finish it. As for the coffee it was the balance of sweet and creamy that I had hoped for but I am thinking it would be better off iced. It seems like this place has multiple locations all throughout New York City so I'll definitely try it again when the weather is warmer! read more

Coffee has been consistently good, and it is not as bitter or acidic as the other big-chain coffee shops.

Came here on one of the coldest nights of the year. A Wednesday night, 6pm. There was still some seating available. Good enough seating to come and study for a short time. I got the Strawberry CBD drink. Forgive me, I forgot the name but it's the only one like it on the menu. Loved this. I can't say if it really had any "CBD effect" since I smoked right after, but it was comforting and the strawberry flavor wasn't overwhelming. My bf got the Drip coffee. It was good for those who like a more bitter flavor coffee. He added a little cinnamon and sugar on the raw. It was perfect. I love the logo and would've bought a cup and saucer if i was going straight home afterwards. They sell pastries and other cold beverages. The bathroom could use a clean but it's public in NYC..maybee they get a pass ? Looking forward to going back if in the area. read more

A couple almond milk latte and tea runs here lately. Join the Gregulars club if you come often. Also available are yogurts, smoothies, light lunch options, and pastries. Free WiFi, no line for the (only one) bathroom, several tables and outlets available, reasonable prices for the quality (better than Starbucks, not better than Culture), and sweet staff. Just sucked that there was no TP in the bathroom. I like how even though it's right by Bryant Park and Times Square, it's got a steady flow of both tourists and locals. It's quiet, so it'd be a good place for laptop lemurs. read more

NYC's answer to NorCal's Peet's Coffee. Local joint that services tasty pastries, etc. for bfast and drinks to satisfy virtually anyone. The drinks are not "fru fru" like Starbucks which is not a knock. I just wanted to set ones expectations. The staff is very efficient/organized and friendly. They definitely seem to be able to handle the throngs of people that frequent this spot! read more

Really great coffee here! I was getting sick of my Starbucks order so I wanted to try something different. Ordered an iced caramel macchiato with oat milk and it was great! The customer service is a different story. I did have this at 5-stars, but while typing this review I witnessed a staff member walking away from someone while they were ordering to go finish someone else's drink. If I were her, I would have left. Good coffee, terrible customer service. read more

Love love love the Gregory's on 58 W 44th St. Great energy, the baristas are wonderful and always know my order. Always with a smile! Julianna the Manager is a love. She's always making sure all is running smoothly and ready to help her baristas. She's has turned this location around to the better!! Best it's ever been. Love the matcha tea and vegan wrap! So many options for all. The food is healthy and delicious. Very clean store! read more

This place used to have the best vegan burrito. I don't know if they recently changed ingredients in it . But it does not taste good the last three times I ordered it it tasted like it went bad. I love the notes they always leave and always quick delivery but the vegan burrito just does not taste the same and once again I ordered it and it taste spoiled . So I threw it out and couldn't even enjoy my breakfast. Super disappointed read more

Good coffee, even better smoothies. We get our afternoon jolt at this location and service is always quick. Only once has it been curt (by a heavy-set bearded guy). I usually opt for their Morning Boost smoothie with strawberries, blueberries, Greek yogurt and granola blended into a frothy, creamy dessert you can slurp. It's $7.50 and great for any time of day, not just breakfast. The Root & Rise smoothie is $9, and tastes as healthy as it sounds, with banana, semisweet chocolate, almond milk, cinnamon, turmeric, chia seeds - basically chockfull of goodies. Their pastries are meh however, having tried the carrot raisin walnut pound cake (too dry and edges taste burnt) and Boston Kreme doughnut (big, but ruined by an odd tasting cream innard). Their chicken salad sold in the prepared foods freezer is surprisingly delicious, and would probably be fantastic with one of their croissants sold in the open dessert display, so light lunch idea for next time. We usually grab and go but on occasion have sat in store, where the seating is comfy, but a lot of meet-ups also happen here so you'll hear many varying conversations going on at once. read more

Very cute coffee shop in Midtown Manhattan. I was impressed by the collection of their cold brew. Besides the regular black coffee brew, the have Nutella Cold Brew, Halls and Oats Brew. They are quite amazing. I got the Halls and Oats, and it tasted really good. It is a mixture of coffee, oat milk, cinnamon and some chocolate (I think). You should check it out. I enjoyed it a lot. The price isn't too bad. Close to 5 bucks for a medium size of cold brew. Comparable to other coffee shops in the area, it is a good deal. read more

We had just gotten off of a flight and needed a pick-me-up, so on our way to Times Square we stopped by Gregorys Coffee. The employee that took our order was very friendly and helpful, our drinks were also prepared very quickly. The place itself is pretty spacious and has several tables for you to sit and enjoy your coffee. I ordered their iced matcha latte w/ oat milk, my husband had their Hall & Oats cold brew and we also ordered a banana nut bread to share. My drink was delicious and the banana bread was so yummy, but the star of the show was definitely the cold brew - so good! Definitely stop by if you're in the area! Highly recommend. read more

Overall this was a solid latte, but I wish it had been hotter. Don't get me wrong, it was much better than, like, Aroma Joe's or Dunkin, but I would've liked more foam. It had a very strong almond milk flavor which I didn't hate, but would've preferred a stronger espresso flavor. It potentially would be good with a flavor syrup, but I don't know if I'd go back (other than for the convenience). To be honest, starbucks is superior (stronger coffee flavor and less $), so if I'm going to go to a chain, starbucks is better, but I'm not mad about it. Side note, this was a large location, not super aesthetic but there was indoor and outdoor seating which I liked. Also - lots of specialty lattes that I'd potentially want to try (Fall Oat Boy?!) read more

I loved how they have nice seating area! It's so hard to find a place to do your work but Gregory has nice seating and several plugs to charge your phone or computer. Although they are a little slow, this is a fun, modern coffee house in New York City.

Why do I feel like reading a book or typing on a laptop every time I walk in? Why would I tip if I have to add my own milk and sugar? Do you tip cashiers at supermarkets when you bag your own groceries? Why do I hate all humanity when I have to wait to add milk/sugar? Why will no amount of sugar or Equal sweeten their coffee? Why is their banana bread so effing good!? read more

Cozy little coffee shop with kind workers and a good atmosphere. Their coffee and tea were good, and they were made within a reasonable amount of time. We left an item here and didn't realize it until after dinner, but luckily they were cleaning up when we went back and gave it to us when they saw us looking sad in the window. read more

Really not sure what all the fuss is about. I went here with a friend yesterday, and it was cute, small but we were able to get a table, and the coffee was...coffee. I just got a regular, and it tasted a lot like Starbucks to me. Which is great, because I love Starbucks. I just don't understand why people say this chain is so much better. My friend got the Borboya coffee, which she claimed to like but didn't even finish half of. We didn't try any of the snacks, so I can't speak to their baked goods. I will say one substantial advantage over Starbucks is that they offer a soy milk cannister. If I'm ever around a Gregory's Coffee again, I might go, but I'm not in the Times Square area often. And they don't have that bonus star rewards program like Starbucks does that I freely admit to being a total sucker for. read more

I was staying at the City Club hotel which is across the street from Gregory's Coffee. Having a need for some caffiene, I spotted this coffee shop across the street. At first glance is was modern design, clean and cute! My initial reaction was this is going to be great! however, the service lacked energy, ( perhaps, they were in need of some coffee) bottom line coffee was better than tarbucks! and decent taste. read more

I like the interior. Plenty of small tables to seat yourself. Unless it's packed...which it did get. And I'm not sure who's playlist they were playing but I looooved it. You can never go wrong with Motown. I ordered my usual Americano (black/no room) and a chocolate chip cookie. Call me a fatty but the cookie was a little on the small side.lol. And more on the crunchy side than soft which I didn't mind. Nothing overly special. The Americano was piping hot. Which I LOVE. I can't stand luke warm coffee being served to you. The Americano was smooth and good. I'll go for another visit sometime soon. And you gotta love the logo! read more

Really great coffee and breakfast options. My favorite is the fruit parfait. Down side is that it's really expensive.

I really like this place near 5th Ave and Rock Center. Of note, it is also near Macchiato Espresso Bar. Gregory's had the usual: Free wifi, small seating areas, some bakery, and friendly baristas. I really liked their medium drip roast (kicking myself for forgetting what it was) and it definitely tasted better than regular old stuff like Pike's Place roast from Starbucks. Another plus for this place, compared to the zillion starbucks around, was that there was no wait for the bathroom. read more

The mornings on the weekends are so hectic! The two male workers are rude, they yell at costumers while taking their orders, rushing them to pick a size & they even speak over you ! Pretty solid coffee and great cozy place to sit and chat a while. Dana F. and I met up briefly for a caffiene injection. I ordered a Dirty Chai, which is chai and espresso. I had high hopes coming to this spot but my expectations were sadly unmet. I ordered through my ritual app and although my order was stated to be ready for pickup, when I got there only half of my order was ready. Also, I had ordered an iced drink, but I was given a hot one. They did make me a new one but that also took additional time. The drink tasted like nothing special and oat milk is an extra $0.95 which I thought was kind of pricey for what seemed like a very small amount of milk I got in my drink. read more
