I came here without having a dentist for almost a decade and had a lot of work to get done over the last two years. Every visit was always greeted with smiles from all the receptionists making the business side of things feel easy and helped relieve anxiety. The dental assistants are always kind and explain what their doing and what they notice. The Dentists are precise and always check in with you during the procedures. I visited Greenlake Dental for a scheduled 1-hour appointment. The dentist viewed my slightly chipped molar as requested and spent about 2 minutes filing the sharp edge. The process was professional and simple. I also visited for a routine teeth cleaning. I declined the fluoride rinse due to concerns about swallowing it. The dental assistant spent a significant amount of time explaining the biochemical bonding action of fluoride to protect from cavities--well over 10 minutes. I advised multiple times that I had an obligation after the meeting and asked just for the routine cleaning. She continued lecturing. She then proceeded to feel my neck for swollen lymph nodes. I said I did not need the service; she said it would not take long and completed it. She then began setting up for gum recession measurement. I again stated that I only wanted the routine cleaning and declined. She insisted it was required and could not be declined. She said that seeing a dentist once a year is not enough and that I should go 4 times a year, even though insurance would likely only cover two. She compared it to serious medical issues and suggested I pay out of pocket; it felt like scare tactics. I declined. She said I needed a deep cleaning to scrape bacteria from under my gums. I explained I had researched this and understood there are risks and mixed data on necessity. I clearly declined. She continued lecturing for many minutes. I repeatedly asked for the routine cleaning. She said it was almost lunchtime and that she did not have time to complete it and that I would need another appointment. There had been sufficient time in the 1-hour slot, but it was spent on lecturing and unwanted services. I scheduled another appointment. At the next appointment, with the same assistant, the fluoride lecture was shorter but still aggressive. I declined. She again attempted to feel my neck. I declined and noted it had just been done two weeks prior. She insisted multiple times, stating it was "the law" and that I must accept. I calmly and repeatedly declined. She then said she would give me a lesson on self-assessment at home. I declined. She insisted and spent several minutes demonstrating on herself. I waited so I could receive the routine cleaning, which was the only reason I was there. She then began preparing for my cleaning and discussed using a numbing agent. I realized she appeared to be preparing for scaling and root planing, which I had declined. I confirmed this, and she said yes. I declined again. She insisted repeatedly, saying it was "the law" and that I must accept. Her tone was aggressive and felt threatening. I asked what specific law required this. She did not answer and instead continued to warn of serious health consequences and repeat that it was "the law." I declined again. She then said she might lose her job and license if I did not comply and framed it as, "Do you want me to lose my license and not be able to support my family?" At that point, I decided to leave rather than submit to a procedure I had clearly declined multiple times. I seldom provide online ratings, though I had given Greenlake Dental a prior 5-star (out of 5-star) rating after a prior visit because of excellent service, including an excellent dental assistant cleaning. I was informed by Greenlake Dental at my scheduling that this dental hygienist no longer works with them. Even if I had a generally bad experience, I probably would not rate it, but this was so extraordinarily bad. She was actually using her position of medical authority to bully me and repeatedly demand submission to services I explicitly declined, and she actually physically barred my way when I attempted to leave. I offer this complaint partially as an opportunity for the owners of Greenlake Dental to be aware of this horrible experience. It is so opposite from my prior experiences. read more

It makes me wonder if these google reviews are paid because if you look on yelp (https://www.yelp.com/biz/greenlake-dental-seattle#reviews) you can see the horrible rating (2.9 stars) they've received. Two reasons why this place is horrible: 1. They took 18 XRAY PHOTOS of my teeth!! I told them I was uncomfortable with that amount of xray exposure and that I'm not sure how safe it was, but the woman assisting me was like "that's ok, it doesn't do any harm!" and then proceeded to run outside of the room to shield herself from it (do you not see the hypocrisy...?) 18 separate pictures of my teeth... It took 30 minutes just to do this. 2. Reason two: This place COMPLETELY RIPS OFF their patients for unnecessary services and procedures. I asked for an itemized billing for this visit and it was $501 (before insurance). Afterwards, they started saying I needed all of these extra things as the next step (e.g. occlusal guard -- another $616, 6 sealants per tooth -- $80 each which is another $480, another recommended procedure for $216). They basically wanted me to do all of this next visit which would cost another $1380! Fucking insane. I have never had problems like this with dentists in the past. Following up on this, I went to a dentist in capitol hill half a year later, and I was told my teeth were in pretty good condition and they did not list ANY of the recommended procedures they mentioned from here. Anyways, this is along winded answer to highly encourage others to NOT go here. This is a TERRIBLE place. I was told I had two cavities and got them filled only to immediately feel extreme pain. For a month it was as if I was biting down on a small pebble every time I chewed. Dentist told me this was normal and that I was "being sensitive" only to get it resolved immediately by another dental practice. I am not even sure who my dentist was because there were no women on the website at the time and all my forms said Dr. Chang. Going here was a painful, expensive mistake that I regret. read more

I'm not sure why this place gets so many bad reviews, my experiences (cleanings and crown replacement) have been positive.

The staff was nice both times I went but you can tell they only care about money. After needing to go to an emergency dentist from a chipped tooth (which was actually a cracked filling) I was informed this filling was never meant to be permanent and I needed a crown ASAP. The dentist here never had that on my dental plan. Find a different dentist. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST! The office staff are all very nice to talk to but the dentist is definitely pulling some stunt. My mother needed root canal done. After root canal, he put in post and core, no build-up, then requested that she gets a cleaning done first. The estimate then went up by $400 because he said he didn't anticipate some of the procedures. She said she didn't want cleaning done there. The dentist told her in 2 weeks, she would have the new crowns. Next appointment, they just started taking full mouth x-rays. I finally tracked down the dentist and he said, he hadn't even done the build-up, let alone making the crowns and now the estimated cost is $500 and they tried to bill her insurance for the full mouth x-rays that she didn't agreed to. The insurance paid the claims for post and core and build-up, even though he only did half of the work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST!! read more

I got horrible service here. Every time I went in there to get any teeth work done he hounding me about my money and wouldn't do any work unless I had all the money it was like some kind of drug deal, gone bad, and then on top of that after he got halfway done with my tooth, he kept charging me more and more money as the process went along so eventually he said he wasn't gonna work on my tooth so I got left with a big gap in the front of my mouth, this doctor is horrible service. I don't know how anybody could be happy going here now I'm getting charged extra from anywhere else because he already worked on it. Horrible place to go. read more

I have a mixed experience with Greenlake Dental. They only think about exploiting money from patients and overcharged me without notice. I had a crown treatment on one tooth in July, and the first day I came there for regular cleaning. After the cleaning, I asked front-desk for the cost of crown. She told me the out of pocket cost is around $400~$500 dollars with my insurance covered (50% coverage). I asked her to provide a quote with itemized cost, she did not provide that and I did not give a second thought on it. The second time after I came there for treatment, after the treatment I was ready to pay. The front desk lady asked $752 for crown treatment. I was shocked and asked how came it turned out to be at least $250 more than original estimation. She told me " the crown itself is about $400~$500, but the treatment includes buildup and blah blah" But I was never not informed with the extra charged. And I asked itemized cost receipt, they only provided me a receipt with total cost and said they would provide me later. After I received the statement from them, it turned out the total cost for the crown on one tooth including the cost from insurance is $1524.50. What a joke? They also charged me $10 for Covid-19 prevention cost. Another thing is, I scheduled appointment with them every time after the treatment, but every time they always sent me texts a few times and called me to reschedule. I was so frustrated for them changing the appointment time every time. I would suggest everyone never ever going to their clinic. It is really a bad experience. read more

Before beginning my care at Greenlake Dental I was very hesitant about going back to see a dentist. Dr. Alkhatib was the dentist I saw first and I was so impressed with his skill and knowledge. He demonstrates a genuine concern for his patients and takes time to show me pictures and give me a clear understanding of my care timeline and priority. I had a crown done and he and his brother, also a dentist, worked through their lunch after discovering a known cavity, near the crown had gone below the gum line. They both selflessly worked tirelessly to get the cavity done correctly. The temp crown fit perfect and the procedures went well. I spent more time, than I thought but the work was done correctly to prevent any further issues moving forward. I would not hesitate to recommend the staff, hygienists and dentists at Greenlake Dental. Thank you for creating such an excellent care team. read more

This was by far, the worst dental experience I have ever had in my life. I have never seen such an unclean dental practice ever. During my appointment the dental hygienist did not floss my teeth very well so I ended up having to go home and floss them again. The worst part of it was when it came to my fluoride treatment. They use a bottle of fluoride that they use on multiple patients. When it came time to opening the bottle, the dental hygienist proceeded to open the bottle and touch the cap with her gloves that were soiled in my saliva and blood. And then squirted the fluoride on a tissue before applying it to my mouth. Not only is this extremely unhygienic in all cases but especially when we are in a pandemic and I was not even asked to get a Covid test. I am truly so disappointed with the care I got. I'd moved back to Seattle and was looking to start up with a new dental office. This office was close to my house and they seemed like a good place to try. First, there were some small snags in my overall experience as in the office staff seemed inexperienced in dealing with my type of insurance (federal) and the office seemed disorganized; there was some confusion about which hygienist would be working with me. It was not a smooth appointment from the outset. The most significant blow to my confidence came when the dentist examining my teeth and x-rays (no laser technology used) announced I had SIX cavities, but other than that my teeth and gums are in impeccable shape. (I have no pain or any other reason to believe I had cavities). I'd never had a cavity in 33 years of life and all of a sudden they say I have SIX. Surprised by this, I went to get a second opinion at a different dentist. The dentist providing the second opinion found ZERO cavities. Greenlake Dental said SIX cavities Second opinion found ZERO. Additionally, I'd written 2 weeks prior to my second opinion appointment to have Greenlake dental forward my medical records to the other dental office, they reported never receiving my request and proceeded to take multiple hours and calls to fax over the records. I came here 2 years ago, and left feeling swindled. I was honestly too angry to write a review, but enough time has passed that I can now write about my experience objectively. I came here for a dental cleaning, which is completely covered by my insurance. The cleaning procedure was fine, though not as thorough as at my previous dental facility. The reason for the 1 star review is that they charged me a large sum for a paste they used during the cleaning (I think it was fluoride). During the procedure, the hygienist said something to the effect of "I will now apply this paste" and I didn't object. But she didn't tell me that it was going to be at an extra cost. All my previous cleanings at the Mukilteo Dental Center had been completely covered, and I was not expecting to pay so much money for less than an ounce of some paste. I was so angry, specially because I had gone after I got laid off (I went for one last procedure before my insurance expired) and I talked to the Dr. and the hygienist about it. I was at a low moment, they knew it, and they still took financial advantage of me. I write this in the hope that other patients don't have a similar experience. read more

I went here a few times just to get cleanings. I have always been applauded for having great teeth, no cavities, etc. Out of nowhere, they said I needed extra work done, cavities, etc. The hygienist even said "wait until you've done a little extra brushing and see if it clears up." The next time, I arrived fifteen minutes early. They told me I needed to leave and wait until my appointment time because they were doing sales and eating lunch. Then, they were running late. I came here for a cleaning and later for two cavities to be replaced. I have to admit that I only came back to have the cavities replaced because not many dentists accept my insurance. Otherwise, I would never have returned after my cleaning. Like the other reviewers have said, Dr. Benjamin Chang seems to be knowledgeable about dentistry, but lacks the skill of being gentle. This was the first time I've ever had a cleaning that really HURT; this after having more than 50 cleanings in my life and none of them painful. The equipment is also outdated - in one exam room an old soda bottle replaces what used to be some other liquid reservoir. The people at the front desk are definitely nice, but if you don't like small children running around the office this will also be an issue for you. I thought it was kind of cool that they could bring their kid to work, though I did wonder whether it was unlawful for a small toddler to be around all of this health equipment. Finally, I apparently had an outstanding bill of $75 but was not made aware of this until I switched to a different provider (7 months after date of service). P.S. When I started this review I had marked 2-stars, but as I wrote I realized I really could not recommend this dentist to anyone and have not experienced worse. read more

I came here once because my dental policy at the time didn't give me a lot of options. I never came back and changed my plan as soon as I could. I know I'm very picky when it comes to dentists because I have worked for one of the best in the country so I know what's what. First impressions: the equipment is old, outdated and worn. Felt eerily like a torture chamber. People were friendly enough, until they charge you for things you didn't know you had to pay for. I tend to grind my teeth at night, so dr recommended mouth guards. I know my insurance covers them so I said sure! It was my fault for not asking more questions. When I went to pick them up, I got a 200 dollar bill. I asked why, the dr said the type my insurance covers isn't as good and won't last as long. Again, I wanted to know why this wasn't explained to me but all the could do was look sheepish. Needless to say I walked out extremely unhappy. At the same appointment, the dr asked if I wanted orthodontic work. Yes, I actually did but I was looking for someone who would do lingual braces and asked for a reference. Instead of giving me one he proceeded to tell me why I don't want them and tried to sell me what he has. He even went as far as to tell me that most dentists will have to extract but he has a special technique so no extractions will be necessary. Fast forward to 1.5 years later, I am almost done with my lingual braces treatment with an excellent orthodontist and guess what, extractions weren't even brought up. My current dentist actually takes the time to check out my insurance policy, explain things to me, and does their best to get me the best care possible with that's covered. Every penny out of pocket is explained and alternatives discussed. So please, do yourselves a favor and stay away. read more

I scheduled a dentist appointment in January with the earliest opening in April. I was ok with that and scheduled for an apt at 2. I wrote that down on my calendar and put that same time in my outlook calendar. I start driving early knowing this was my first visit to a new dentist, but get a call asking if I'll be able to make it since I'm late. I'm confused. The receptionist puts me on hold, and I find out they're taking in a patient in 10 minutes for surgery. This would mark 1:20... Uhhh technically if my appt is at one, why do you schedule a surgery at that same time unless you get your patients in, xrayed, work done and out in 15 minutes. I ask for the next available appt, and that would be July. How does this place exist? read more

Wow. I really can't believe that the other reviewers saw the same dentist. Benjamin Chang is funny, kind and (most importantly) concerned with my comfort. I have a deep fear of dentists and I'm hyper sensitive to pain. Dr. Chang got me through a horrible cavity experience and was super patient with my panic attacks during the procedure. He even made me laugh. His equipment isn't outdated, it's functional. It's not fancy a place, but as someone who has been paying 3 times what Dr. Chang charges for the past several years, I can do without the ambiance. This place is for the utilitarian. Good people. First of all, don't get this place confused with Green Lake Dental CARE, those are different people. Secondly, BAD. Extremely rough, painful. Ended up costing way more than was quoted with my insurance, and had to have an entire extra appointment (total of 3) for a root canal and crown. The procedure felt like a torture, and the exam room equipment is from the 1950s. Seriously, Dr Chang may know a lot about how to get the job done, but he could care less about your comfort or time (not to mention money). Go somewhere else. read more

I'm not afraid to admit that I have had teeth problems my entire adult life. I have spent more time in dental chairs then most being poked and prodded. I expected more of the same when I went to Dr. Chang at Greenlake Dental. Wow, was I surprised when he put me on a comprehensive plan that limited my time in said chair. He explained to me in detail the proper way to brush and floss, and the many ways I can improve the health of my teeth. He explained to me in a fun and friendly manner, not in Dentist speak. Since my first day 3 years ago, I have had some gum issues, but nothing like I had prior to coming to his office. I am always greeted by his smiling staff, who are friendly and knowledgeable too. They always worked around my schedule, and understood if i couldn't make it certain days. I enjoyed my time going to Greenlake Dental (as much as you can going to the dentist). Nothing but positive things to say about this office. I've been going to them since I moved to Seattle a few years ago. I hadn't gone for a while and I had a discolored tooth that I had been very down about for months. I just went in for a routine cleaning and the ladies let me know that it was just a surface stain. I did t get my hopes up but when they finished, I looked in the mirror and saw a perfectly white smile. I couldn't believe how well they removed the stain and they were so kind and friendly the whole time. I was very comfortable and enjoyed chatting with everyone at the office. Dr. Chang is incompetent, impersonal and his dental practice is a joke. I gave him a try for a simple teeth cleaning and exam and he told me I needed 5 fillings. I've never had a cavity in my life! I went to another dentist for a second opinion and was reassured that I had no cavities. He seems only to care about money and not about the care of his patients. His offices are also dirty and old. Didn't need to go meet Dr. Chang and knew he is not legit as a dentist or a service provider. Summary: Tell patient to tell the insurance provider to "screw themselves"; ask if patient is willing to pay cash; question if patient knows how little he gets paid for the service he provides. Here is the detail story: 2/2/2015: I was looking for a new dentist and tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Chang yet the receptionist told me that they won't have a spot for me until late March, and I have to be listed in their roster with the insurance provider. So I hung up and called my insurance provider to switch me to Dr. Chang, and was told it will take into effective on March 1, 2015, I can start making an appointment and I have to ensure the appointment is after that day, so in my mind, things are aligned because I won't get to see him until March anyways. Then I called back to the office and the receptionist after talking with Dr. Chang, told me she is not allow to make any appointments until my name shows up in the roster per my insurance's guidelines. I replied saying, the insurance company just told me I can schedule it but need to ensure my appointment is after March 1st. She instructed me to double check with the insurance company again. Since the insurance company was closed by that time, I decided to call the next morning. 2/3/2015: I called the insurance company and confirm once again I have been switched to Dr. Chang and confirmed that I am allow to make appointment for dates after March 1st per their guidelines. With that said, I called back to Dr. Chang's office and with another receptionist answering, she scheduled me for a late March date. Thinking everything was set, I was a happy. Then by the time I got home, Dr. Chang called me back and left a voicemail saying my appointment is canceled because he was not able to find me in the roster (the roster in his system might not match the insurance, since it will take time to update). I called him back immediately and was shocked to find out his attitude toward the whole situation, here is the dialog: Me: I was able to confirm with the insurance that I have switched into your roster and was constructed to make appointments after the March 1st date. Chang: I can only take appointments that are in my roster. Me: This is different than what the receptionist told me, they said it was the insurance company's policy but I was able to confirm that it is not the case. Chang: I am just a service provider, I don't deal with insurances, and in the past, they have lied to me, so you can go tell them to "screw themselves". Me: Well, if in March, I am not on the roster, then you can always cancel my appointment but I have done my due diligence to double check with my insurance company. Chang: I don't care, I am just the service provider and I don't do middle man work to deal with your insurance. Me: Well, I am just a patient that wants service. Chang: Do you know how much they are paying for the services I provide? Me: I don't know but I didn't appreciate you telling me to tell the insurance company to "screw themselves". Chang: You pay the insurance company, right? Do you listen to your boss that pays you? Me: Yes, I listen to my boss but I don't pay the insurance, my company does. Chang: So if you listen to your boss, you are the boss of the insurance company so you can tell them to "screw themselves" because I am not the boss, and the insurance company is paying me, hence they are my boss. Me: Well, you are correct, in the same logic, I am your boss' boss, but you telling me I can't even make a simple appointment when I have double checked two times with the insurance on being on the roster. By the time I call back in March, I won't be able to come in until late April, that is close to 3 months away. Chang: You can always come in without insurance, and make an appointment. Can you pay cash? Me: I don't want to deal service providers without my insurance around. This is getting ridiculous. Chang: I don't think I want to even take you as a patient now. I've been coming here for 8 years. I first started seeing Dr Chang for orthodontic work, and he individually molded my teeth so that he wouldn't have to perform an extraction in my crowded mouth. I had braces for one year and had them removed the day before my wedding, so I could smile with confidence. Dr. Chang had a promotion for implants online in Dec. 2018 for $1,999 including a free consultation (worth $450). I was offered a price extension and booked my appointment for a consultation for the beginning of January.This consultation was cancelled because Dr. Chang went on a vacation and my new appointment was January 18, 19. The free consultation (supposedly worth $450) lasted approximately 5 minutes. It consisted of all the extra money I would have to come up with. Dr. Chang appears to be extremely "money hungry". Probably spent too much on his vacation and needs to make up for it. 1. Extra charge for a CBCT scan $341. On his implant pricing list for Web Marketing I found that the CBCT scan used to be included with a down payment of $1,000. 2. Extra bone graft $525 I had already a bone graft immediately after my tooth extraction ($600)- different dentist, but Dr. Chang thought I might need an additional one for $525!!! Highly unusual to have two bone grafts for one tooth implant. I called some other dentists, and they confirmed it's very, very unlikely. 3. Flipper, an extra $700. Wow, that $1,999 implant is getting up there. Congratulations Dr. Chang, your vacation is getting paid for. 4. And then another surprise. Dr. Chang tries to pressure me into making the full payment of $1,999 within a week, otherwise poor Dr. Chang can't hold the price for me. Fact is, I am supposed to pay $1,999 for an implant without any work being done at the time being (it takes approximately another 9 months for the whole process). 5. During my visit, the staff and Dr. Chang where continually trying to sell me there "oh so reasonable" house insurance as I do not have any dental insurance. $400 a year, gives you two free cleaning (each one is worth $400), wow, one can really save or a lot of money, ha, ha. Also gives you you 10% to 15% off on his expensive fillings and crowns. Conclusion: If you want to spend money and if you are looking for a dentist, who in my opinion, is not trustworthy, you must go and see Dr. Chang. read more

I've never written a Yelp review before but I feel exceedingly compelled to do so after this horrid experience with Dr. Chang. I've been having pain around my wisdom teeth, so I decided I should get them removed. I got dental insurance and after battling them they told me that I could only get my wisdom teeth removed if it was done by my primary dentist. After searching and searching I found Dr. Chang who's office said they did wisdom teeth removals in office but that I needed a consultation first. I get there, sign in, wait for my late dentist and finally he walks in and within seconds of me opening my mouth he says he will need to refer me to a specialist. No x-rays, no examination, no explanation. I repeatedly asked him, point blank, WHY can't you do this here? And he could not speak a coherent sentence. His answer was because we can't. As my insurance won't cover me to see a specialist, referral or not, I was upset and wanted an explanation for why I was brought all the way in after being very clear about my situation and needs, only to be told a simple no in seconds. And he could not give me even a pathetic explanation besides No, because some we can do here and some we can't. Okay but WHY? Why not mine? I am disgusted by Dr. Changs lack of examination, care, explanation and knowledge. He is a pathetic excuse for a dentist and should not be allowed to practice if he can't give patients a simple explanation. Instead his secretary had to give me an explanation for "why she maybe thought he couldn't because of my gums blah blah blah". She isn't a dentist and it's not her job. It's my dentists responsibility and he was an absolute joke. read more

Dr. Chang is absolutely the best dentist and I have been going to his office for years as well as many other family members, I believe 5 of us go to Greenlake Dental and they are always very kind and helpful and awesome at what they do especially Dr. Chang. He always makes time for us especially when there is an emergency. The staff is always friendly especially hisako she is awesome and we are always happy to speak with her she knows everything A to Z. I went to Greenlake dental after a few years of not going to the dentist. I've never had any issues with my teeth and only two cavities in my life. The staff here are great - but the actual dental work is not. I was told that I had multiple cavities and needed a crown. The cleaning itself was very rough, and I have had sensitivity for the first time ever, after coming here. After switching to a new dentist recently, they were amazed that I had gone in for a cleaning just four months ago, because they needed to do another (deep) cleaning. The staff are very nice, but I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go to someone who will actually help you! read more

No way. This apparently is our closest provider but I'd rather drive 20 miles if need be then see them. It was the worst service I have ever received and they way they handled some of our insurance inquiries and payment requests was unprofessional. They are a young group I think, I don't know if this makes them feel high and mighty but it was disappointing. So, no way, not going back to these even if my insurance keeps popping them up as our closest provider. I was fortunate to find a great dentist after this flop and felt I should actually thank them for pushing me and my family along. read more

Dr. Benjamin Chang is the best dentist I have ever been to. I have been going here since I was sixteen years old and now I am almost 25. Wow it has been almost ten years. Now everyone in my family switched from their old dentists and we have only see Dr. Chang for any kind of dental care. Unlike other dentists, Dr. Chang doesn't make us wait too long or let us deal with his assistant while he juggles around the office with too many patients. We actually get to see Dr. Chang and he is the person who cleans our teeth everytime we go in there. I went to get teeth cleaning done at other office and they could not clean it well like Dr. Chang. I got braces done by Dr. Chang when I was 16 years old. My family was very very poor back then. We didn't have dental or health insurance. Dr. Chang gave us reasonable price. People compliment me all the time now that I have amazing teeth and they are all because of Dr. Chang. Unlike other dentists, Dr. Chang won't try to sell you unnecessary procedures. My family and I can't thank him enough for all the dental cares we received from him over the last 10 years. :D Thank you!!! read more

rough! The doctor and receptionist were actually very nice, and the doctor seems have good knowledge, but he is just so rough!!! I hope he read this and improve to be more gentle, so that he would not waste his knowledge and he is really a good person too. But I would not go back unless he gets more gentle. read more

This place had me nervous from the start just walking in, because the building is so small and uncared for. It got confirmed by the one white girl receptionist there who sounded about as sure of her job as a 15 year old whose first day was today. Dr. Chang did not speak to me as a person, and even though most dentists seem to do be a bit aloof he was the worst I have had with this. Like others have said, he did not want to answer questions I had about the procedures I was about to get that would cost me a lot of money. I was getting a wisdom tooth removed that had started hurting, and afterwards he gave me no paper instructions for aftercare. I just generally did not feel well taken care of. read more
