Tony was an excellent tech. He was very knowledgeable, and accommodating. He was respectful as my family slept in the early morning hours.

Had an appointment with Armen for Friday. Never got in touch, never showed up. Didn't respond to multiple calls Friday, over the weekend or Monday. Would not use this service again. read more

I talked to these guys on the phone and although they could not help me because I bought the a/c unit from another company and they could not warranty it he spent 10 minutes at least on the phone giving me some great advice and even called me back when phone got disconnected. although I did not do business with them I definitely would in the future. Top notch customer service! read more

Beware of this company! My bad, I should have checked on his work at my rental property. It was poor workmanship. You can't open the door to the closet where the AC is because of the pipes. My tenant told me that Armen told him that I was going to re-build my closet for the AC. Really??Why the lies Armen? I called Armen to please have a look on what could be done to fix the AC unit. We made a date and then he canceled when he should have been at the appointment. We rescheduled and then he never showed or called back. I have tried contacting him via phone and text for over a week and all I get is silence. Shame on you Armen for poor workmanship and horrible customer service. read more

These guys cleaned and serviced our ducts after we renovated our 1971 house. The vents had never been touched. Ever, and that is just plain scary when you think about it. Out of sight, out of mind? Nuh-uh. I have to say I was absolutely shocked at the amount of crap that was lurking inside of our vents and ducts. Imagine a giant vacuum bag with air blowing through it and you get the picture. At the end of our reno this really helped to put the finishing touch into our house and the amount of dust after running AC or heat has dropped dramatically, especially after adding a HEPA filter to help keep our clean ducts cleaner. These guys are the real deal. I'll see if I can find the copies of the before and after pix and I'll post them. read more

Started job two weeks ago but has not complete it. Armen said he will send someone out to check air filter and freon but no one has come. Last time I call Armen he said he would call back in a minute. He never did. Sister has had no success. read more

We contacted Armen based on the yelp reviews and he did not disappoint! He and his crew, Mario and John were so great to work with! Our second floor AC unit broke in September and our daughter's room was too hot to sleep in so he brought us a portable until the next day when they could replace the unit. We were so thankful for him - turns out our less than a year old unit was installed incorrectly so it wasn't getting enough ventilation, which caused it to burn out. We had had another reputable company give us a bid and he did not mention anything about where the unit was installed. If it wasn't for him, we would've made the same mistake twice / paying for a whole new unit, only to have it burn out again. I just wish we had found Armen last year when our first unit broke so we would've had it done correctly the first time around! He doesn't recommend any service or product that he wouldn't have installed in his own home. read more

When my HOA told me that my dryer and air conditioning ducts were being assessed because they hadn't been inspected in a while, I thought to myself, well, I know whoever they hired would be good because my HOA is a stickler for good quality and credentials. They were right, Armen and his team were incredible! They addressed the problems with my ducts, while also pointing out another issue of concern. I recently had work done on my utility room and knew my contractor had done poor work, but didn't know he messed-up THAT bad. Not only did Armen speak to me about my options, but fixed my contractor's error for no additional charge! Side note: They were super clean and made sure my wood floors were covered with both; plastic and thick cloth sheets, AND their ladders had special padding too. (Big Plus!) read more

It was the middle of summer 2014 and my AC wouldn't turn on. I'd never had an issue with it before and didn't know where to turn, since it's so hard to find someone trustworthy. I was referred to these guys by a good friend. I called and they were able to set up an appointment that worked around my busy schedule. They walked in and introduced themselves, handed me a business card and got straight to work. Within a short amount of time they were able to diagnose the problem. They gave a me a reasonable quote and I told them to go ahead and fix the unit and they suggested cleaning it, which was long overdue since I'd never had the unit serviced in the 15 years we've had it. They also gave me advice on how to help keep the unit clean on my own, which was a friendly gesture. Since they didn't have the specific part on hand they ran out to a nearby supplier and returned within a half hour. They were able to fix my problem quickly and when I told my friends what I paid they were surprised that their rates were so reasonable. A year later and I am glad to say my AC is still running strong and I haven't had a problem since. I cannot recommend these guys enough. read more

Every time we, as homeowners, solicit bids from contractors, we unwittingly welcome in to our homes unscrupulous charlatans, along with companies dedicated to providing great service, at a fair price. Green Technology Systems is, in my experience, an admirable enterprise that falls squarely in the latter camp. Armen bid on the job, accompanied by his Little John sidekick, Saul (sp?). On the first day of work, three other workers arrived to begin demo: Mario, Sergio, and Majestic: all three professional, courteous, and thorough. During the next three days, the 5 men came and went, conscientiously replacing my whole HVAC system with a brand new configuration that I am confident will prove more efficient, sustainable, and effective than the reliable dinosaur that we had previously owned, and was long past its prime. The gentlemen cleaned up the house every day, and finished their installation with great care and application. When the duct testing company came, it was little surprise, therefore, that the readings were less than 4% leakage (an admirable score!). The city inspector was also impressed, and I was thrilled. Green Technology Systems backs up their work with a solid warranty, and provides a free maintenance checkup up in the first year. If this is how they do business regularly, I would not be surprised if this company grows steadily, and can only hope that Armen and his team never forget that their success is based upon the integrity, talent, and excellent service they demonstrated each day they worked in my home. This was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive bid we got, but I am - for now - pretty sure it was the best. read more

These guys are great as long as they know they're getting a big check from you. When I called to ask about having three units repaired they were at my house the next day. They talk a big game about all the stuff they do, I was sold. One month later two units stopped working...in the middle of this heat. When I call them About this they tell me they can't come check on it for it a week and a half! What? Where's the guarantee on work. I have guests staying at my house that have to sleep in ninety degree heat now. If you go with these guys pray your unit keeps working otherwise you're gonna suffer while you hope they make time for you. I wish I'd gone with a better company that would check on their work right away. Now that they got their money from us Armen doesn't even get back to my texts or calls. I do not recommend them. read more

Armen owner of Green Technology came to repair a suspected leak. He came on a Sunday, also had an assistant named Mario they said the job would take 2 to 4 hours and what the charges were going to be. They completed the job in a timely manner ,the work was really good from what I can tell it was clean well done ! I must emphasize again how great Armen and his team are at Green Technology System. I wish I had the chance to use them again when I had other issues but had another company come out . Big mistake ! Armen still helped me get a price quote and made sure I understood what I needed to get fixed so I don't get ripped off again. I really appreciate their honesty. He's always willing to help even when I needed a referral for other repairs . Don't bother looking elsewhere, Green Technology System is a go-to. Great people and great workmanship . Our A/C Died last week, and we had a party to host. Green Technology Systems came out the next day and serviced our unit to make sure we had a/c for the party. Not all super heroes wear capes. I've dealt with a few AC companies, but this one is by far the most responsive and professional I've worked with. Armen was so helpful and easy to work with. His team was on time and super friendly. Called this guys based on my friend's recommendations. Armen was a polite and nice guy he did a great job! Came as scheduled and fixed my A/C! BUYER BEWARE!! One of the worst experiences I have encountered with a home repair service company. Three of my referrals for AC repair could not make it out to the house, so I looked online and saw that Green Technology Systems had some decent reviews and I found a 25% discount on another website. They were able to come out the same day for a service call. That is the good part. Now the rest... Armen said that the $85 service fee would be deducted from the total repair bill if we used their company. We did use them and they fixed the main problem. He said he had to come back out to fix another issue with the AC. He never came back to fix the other issue. Then said it would cost more if he did come back out to fix the issue. One of the reasons this company was chosen is because they said they accepted credit cards. The person who was paying for repairs resides out of town, so this was important to them. Once GTS was to be paid, they said now they CAN'T take credit cards and wanted a check instead. This would take time as a check would have to be mailed. Once, GTS received payment (four figures,) Armen called and said we still owed GTS $85 for the service call. I explained that he told us that would be included in the repair fee if we used his company to do the repairs. He then said he couldn't give a 25% discount, plus waive the service fee. Mind you, he never mentioned this before. He then threatened us with putting a Mechanic's Lien in the amount of $85 if we didn't pay it immediately. We didn't want the hassle so we paid this fee, but we will not be using them again. Funny thing is, two main AC units will need to be installed at the house probably within a year, and we were planning to use them to do this if the experience with them was a good one. They lost out on thousands of dollars for $85. Bad business. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Update: Right after I posted this review, this is a response I received from the owner. "Armen V. Owner Subject: Your Review "Hi Mike.. i will be filing a lawsuit for libel.. thank you" Not sure how it it libel when this is what happened and this is a review site. read more

Armen is the best! The AC in my condo broke during these past days heats. I found Armen on yelp. Called him and he and his associate came over the same day. They were able to find the problem immediately but it wouldn't be possible to fix the same day. What he offered was just amazing! he offered a portable AC till they would come next morning to fix it! His customer service is TOP NOTCH! They did a great job, they worked very clean and fast. I highly recommend Green Technology if you need Air Conditioning Repairs! read more

i want to start by saying im glad that i found these guys on yelp.so i gave them a call a gentleman named ARMEN answered the phone after I explained him the issue i was having he set up an appointment with me to stop by and take a look at my A/C unit it turned out that my whole system needed to be upgraded.so he set up another appointment to come and do the job after we agreed on the price.so they came and covered all the floors at my house so they don't mess it up and they finished the job on the same day. very professional very reasonable price very intelligent Highly Recommended read more

Had a problem with my thermostat. I called them at 9 AM, they fit me into their schedule and showed up on time. Replaced my thermostats professionally and efficiently. Made sure there were no other issues with the controller, damper, etc. Obviously, if you need replacement parts, don't expect Amazon or wholesaler prices on equipment, but overall a great experience. read more

I hired Armen based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. In fact, he determined as he was fixing our AC that he could fix rather than replace a component, and based on that saved us several hundred dollars that we had already paid. He mailed us the check. Doesn't get more honest than that. Excellent, detailed explanation of the problem and possible solutions, timely work done well, respectful customer service -- I am very glad I went with Green. read more

I called Green Tech based on another Yelper's mention that they were the only firm that could repair old floor furnaces. Armen and his crew came out, assessed the job, gave me a very fair quote. His guys came back when they said they would and did an excellent job. Our older AC unit -- and I mean older (1980 Magic Chef) -- was working decent in the day time, but sluggish in the evenings, so we decided to give Green Tech Systems a try. John and Mario came to our home to perform a tune up inspection and we found both gentlemen to be very personable, knowledgeable & efficient. They determined the issue (needed freon) and they provided us with our options. Before we knew it, they had our old AC unit running like new! I would definitely use them again! read more

I just called 10 electricians for help on my portable air conditioning unit and Armen was so so so helpful! He told me my options over the phone, was so super friendly and informative, and answered all of my questions! He was up for the job but let me know that there may be some cheaper alternatives (not to say that he's expensive, I think his rates are reasonable. Just not in comparison to the cost of the machine itself!). It is so rare to find someone who actually wants to help these days! What a gem! read more

I saw a Groupon for this company at a great price and decided to give them a try and I'm extremely happy that I did. Armen and his assistant were personable, professional and honest. I wound up purchasing more services from them, a choice that I made without any up-selling pressure from them. I will not hesitate to use them again and I definitely recommend them! read more

You can trust Armen at Green tech. He is a stand up guy and the prices are reasonable!

It's over 100 degrees out right now. Last night I was in the attic, trying to make room for some storage items. There was a wire running right down the middle that I kept tripping over. I wondered what it was for and thought, "well, if it's something important I can just splice it back together. No big deal." I cut the wire and nothing happened. Then I went downstairs and realized the thermostat was out. OMG, that wire was the thermostat wire! I went back up and cut the wire back to see that it was not as simple as a positive, negative and a ground. This thing had EIGHT wires. I'm a soccer Mom, but when I was kid I always helped my Dad...I went to Home Depot and got some wire....went back up to the attic....reconnected ALL eight wires....ran down to thermostat and NOTHING....By now it's 11:30 pm...I went online and started making calls to air conditioner repair companies, asking them to call me asap. To my SHOCK, at 12:07 am I called Green Technology Systems and the guy (Arman) ANSWERED the phone! I told him what I did and he explained what he thought it could be. He came out the next morning....A SUNDAY! I turns out I was lucky enough to have blown a fuse and not the board (which would have been at least $400!). He and his helper John were AMAZING. He took a look at the portable air conditioner I had too and told me how to clean it. Having him come today was like a guy on a white horse. It's back to over 100 degrees right now, but the air is on...He's still working on getting that thermostat working, but I wanted to write this review because I want everyone to know how great they are. I don't know who this Suzanne Y person is, but she must be on crack....Arnon's prices were REALLY cheap. My ex husband is an air conditioning guy and he charges almost 1/3rd more for a service call. I called him to make sure the pricing was right and he told me, "That guy is giving you REALLY good pricing!" Anyhow, I can't say enough good stuff about these guys. read more

My heater went out a couple of days ago and I couldn't find anyone to come out day of and take a look at it, but Arman was nice enough to come out and take a look. The motor was busted and someone put in parts that didn't belong. So he came back the next day with all the right parts and now it's running perfectly. He gave me a great price and was friendly. I recommended him to anyone who is looking for repair and a person who won't up charge you. read more

Last night, one of the coldest yet in L.A., our floor furnace stopped working. Huddled under duvets and blankets we made it through the night and began our search for help. Several companies wouldn't send anyone out until Monday; several wouldn't work on floor furnaces. I finally found Armen at Green Technology Systems. He arranged for technicians Saul and Mario to come out. They arrived within 2 hours of my phone call and immediately discovered the cause--two simple wires, one in the furnace, one in the thermostat. Problem solved very quickly; very efficiently. I can't say enough about all of them. read more

Armen installed a split system A/C system and did a great job. He quickly responds to phone calls, shows up when he says he would, and got the job done timely. I was very hopeful for these guys after reading so many positive reviews. I took advantage of a GroupOn special deal which made the service visit very affordable. When they came, they made several recommendations to me that I knew to be false. They made at least three attempts to up-sell me on upgrades that I knew from prior experience were not accurate. To take just one example, they claimed my insulation was "very inadequate" (despite multiple handymen and a home inspector telling me it was abundant and maybe even overkill). They recommended a replacement part for a part I had just replaced myself (brand new and working fine). They tried to get me to opt for a few more expensive services which, they said, would increase the efficiency of my system. But I don't know what to believe when they told me blatant falsehoods to my face, and then offered me an instant discount if I would agree on the spot to that service. These are the kinds of experiences that make me not want to call a company like this ever again. Sorry. Usually I go with the tide of Yelp reviews and have found many quality providers, but in this case, I have to disagree with the ratings here. Buyer beware. read more

This is the sort of business that you can get ripped off real quick and on top of that not get what you needed done. That had happened to me a few times so I went with a friends recommendation to use this company for my Air Conditioning repair and service; they gave me an estimate and a time frame for completion and came through exactly as they promised. Their price was actually a lot cheaper than anyone else I asked. As far as personnel goes, Armen has his crew under wraps and goes out of his way to make sure every detail is done perfectly, even giving caution to my personal belongings, carpets, you name it, they treated it as their own. Would recommend any day. read more

Very honest and professional. My air conditioner was working great until it started getting a little humid at which point it still worked but never seemed to get quite as cool to the point where it would turn off. I purchased an air conditioning tune up to have it checked out. After some examining and testing I was told that my air conditioner was actually functioning correctly and that when the humidity went away the unit would start to work as it did before. The problem was the vents in the house were not large enough to pull enough humid air into the unit to keep up. I appreciated that they took the time to explain to me what was going on and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. At the end of the visit I asked if they knew anything about dryer vents because my dryer kept turning itself off and I had already tried cleaning the duct and had someone else look at it already as well. They took a look and noticed that the flap on the outside of the house was getting stuck and spent some time fixing it. The humidity is gone and the air conditioner started working again as they said it would. The dryer vent fix also worked and saved me a lot of frustration and another expensive visit from someone else. The visit was very reasonably priced and they didn't even charge me for the time looking at the dryer vent. Will be using them again in the future. read more
