Amazing little shop with excellent customer service. They worked really hard to find out why my PC's display kept crashing and discovered it was the power supply. So they sold me a new one and installed it for cheap, and also waved the diagnostic fee, which was incredibly nice of them! These guys are knowledgeable and helpful. I want to be as fair and honest as possible. I believe they are inexpensive for their rate of work. My thoughts they are more built to cover midgrade pcs and lower. The price for service of work I received was well below what I figured it would be. We brought in a custom PC built by Fry's electronics to replace the CPU. But they wanted To be diagnosed themselves since I was thinking of upgrading my system. This system was late model gaming pc. At time of purchase, 5 years ago it was over $3000. These are some of the major components of the PC we brought in: Dominator DDR3 16 gb Ram, Asus Sabertooth Z97 M1 Mother board, EVGA GTX980 Superclocked Graphics card and Intel core I7-4790K Processer. Not the latest or greatest, but still adequate gaming parts as of today. Green PC diagnosed computer as having a failed motherboard. I brought in a used motherboard for them install in the computer, which I bought from Offer up. Upon picking up the PC. I was informed by one of the technicians, that the left side of the mother board, RAM slots could not read RAM but the right side did. No problem, I replied. At least the computer is up and running. About me: I have computer intelligence, I have built gaming rigs from the ground up. Piece by piece. On the way home, reading a forum I found out what the problem could be hindering the RAM slots. Upon arriving home, I did what the forum said to do. I removed the processor, looked on the mother board and saw that two pins on motherboard were bent out of place. I straightened the pins up and replaced the processor back on mother board. I went upstairs and hooked the PC up. The PC came on fine. The Ram was registered BUT huge shock came over my face. The Processor that I brought in with the PC was no longer in there. The i7-4790K had been replaced with an inferior chip i5-4590. We had not been told anything about it. This could have been a simple mistake. But that gaming processor was not in the box with so called damaged motherboard and other pieces. I have not as yet spoken with Green PC or any of their management about this situation. But I will today. As of right now I will give this business a One-star rating. read more

My computer just kept having one problem after another; slow boot time, freezing up, dropping Internet connection, shutting down in the middle of the night. I usually fix my own computers, but his one had me stumped. Took my computer into to Green PC. They told me they would do diagnostic and let me know the next day. The following day I get a call and the technician says the problem is with the hard drive. I have them replace the 1T hard drive with a new one and ask them to leave the old hard drive connected, so I can retrieve information and have them reinstall the windows operating system. The following day I get a call telling me my computer is ready to pick up. I was really surprised that the cost for all of this was only $123.00 plus tax. My PC is working fine now and I have been able to retrieve a lot of information that is not normally backed up. I am very happy with this service. Do yourself a favor and use this PC repair service. I came here after having a terrible time with my first build. I figured it was the Mobo and the CPU but couldn't test it. The guy that helped me was super friendly and helpful. I dropped my computer off right before they closed and he called me that evening saying it was most likely the mobo but would finish checking it all and call back. I was referred to this company by a friend because he said they are cheap and they did a good job on his computer repair. What I found is what I already knew...you get what you pay for. The service was horrible, one guy in particular has bad customer service skills and a smart mouth. I took in a all in one pc to be diagnosed. I received a call Monday afternoon and when I called back I was told that they could fix it by restoring my operating system. He didn't explain my files would all be lost, had I not known to ask they would have just deleted everything on my computer. When I asked about it he said the price varied and he would see how much I had on there and call me back to let me know the price before they did anything. I didn't get a call so a couple hours later I called back to find out they had already did it, and when I asked what happened to the call back he said he didn't know what to tell me and they already did it. Then they lost the mouse to my computer as well and the guy who checked me in lied and said he gave me the bag back and that he told me he couldn't take it because it might get lost. We never had a discussion about the mouse other than me saying all the cords were in the bag I left on the counter. Again, I was told oh well they didn't know what to tell me. I would pay more money for a business that provides better service any day. You don't have to do anything extra but you do need to have some type of customer service skills which are completely lacking at this location. I'd never refer anyone or go back. read more

I dreaded taking my 2 computers in for repair because of the exorbitant cost and inferior service received previously from other places like Office Depot and the Geek Squad. Although Green's physical location is warehouse ambiance with no public bathroom, it's irrelevant because the service is so far ahead of the competition. I was expecting to drop the laptops off, wait a week or two to get them back, pick them up, pay at least $200 and still have unresolved problems requiring further trips. Instead, Paul immediately went to work on them as I stood there watching. He showed me so many things that are invaluable: how to remove and clean my dusty fan, uninstall unnecessary files to speed startup, tell the difference between a virus and a corrupt shortcut, etc. The most incredible? He fixed them both in about 15 minutes and charged me nothing!! I bought a refurbished Dell laptop with a touch screen and 6 month warranty for only $140. I came in when they opened to get an os installed today. And before they installed it they did a diagnosis check to make sure everything is working properly. The only thing was the power wasn't hooked up properly to my motherboard and they installed two fans with it at no charge. I know basic components for computer just don't know how to install. They kept it simple and explained difference between 7 and 8 and 10 windows I bought 10. And I got it back around 6. I was very satisfied with all they did especially the return 9-6. Ever since i bought a personal computer from these guys i have had issues. The first time i had a problem with my computer I had to have the whole thing re booted and all. That was when i had a warrantee. When my warrantee was over, I discovered another problem which involved my computer constantly popping up a U S B not recognized message. I took it in and guy tells me to pay a 35 dollar diagnostic fee to find out if its a software issue. He already tried to erase the root thing but to no avail nothing worked. I tried the same thing before bringing it. Obviously it is a software issue but yet they wanna charge me for that. Doesn't matter if its a software issue or a hardware issue. The fact is, I bought the thing from them. I feel they should fix the problem. Without cost mind you. I have paid enough for a computer that i have not even got a year out of. I had done nothing to cause the problem. Only thing i did to the computer was use it. Then he tells me most likely i will have to pay another 100 or so dollars to fix the issue. Pretty much the computer is crap in other words. Only had this computer about a year and it has already just turned out to be crap. I will never buy another computer from these people. They dont do good business and they don't seem to care about the customer. I really would not suggest you buy something for them. There stuff does not last and if ya ask them to help you they just look at you like your crazy. I really feel like they just don't give a care. All about the money and not about helping people who need their help. God forbid your warrantee ends. You will be just screwed. read more

This is the best computer shop in western Washington. Tai, Paul, and the rest of the guys are friendly and knowledgeable. There is a museum of technology with a lot of old computers and electronics. I picked up a refurbished gaming laptop there with an i7 and 16 GB of ram and it runs awesome, also upgraded to windows 10. Their prices can't be beat. I bought my computer there maybe 5 years ago.. Updated to Windows 10.. No problem put in the anniversary update that was the end of my computer thank you Microsoft.. I've managed to mess my computer up a couple times and Thai is always faithful to handle my problems and just does a great job all around he's Fair he's honest and that's what I look for in a business.. I can't imagine where all the positive reviews come from. The first motherboard they put in produced no sound -- zip. Had to haul it back in where they finally figured out it was defective. So I pay for a better one. It's hardly any better. These guys put together a new system for me with superfast CPU and video card, but the video-audio converting is no faster than my old system rated at 1/20 the speed. Huh? The Youtube video sound and many movies are scratchy, really irritating to listen to. I never heard that on ANY system I had before. This is the worst new system I ever had, and I've bought maybe one a year for 35 years. So now I have to pay to take it to a real professional shop where they understand how to build a system, cause these characters don't, and how audio and video work. read more

I bought a refurbished computer from them yesterday, it cost me 600 dollars and it was the second most powerful refurbished they were offering, dual core processor and 8 GB of RAM. I booted it up at home and it has been the slowest, buggiest computer I have ever worked on. Absolutely terrible, websites crash almost immediately, the programs freeze, and the whole system is very slow. I don't know if this is common practice for these guys, but I definitely would not recommend them. read more
