The GMPC technician, Brad Humphrey, walked out after only minutes on the job and sat in his truck for over an hour, refusing to perform a scheduled termite treatment while I waited. What should have taken one hour, went from 10AM~1:30PM which included all the theatrics by Humphrey and finally the termite treatment. Humphrey claimed to "not like my attitude" in the 1st few minutes after we met. He asked me numerous times if "I" knew where the termites were, each time I explained I was the Realtor; not the owner, who had a death in the family and could not be present. Apparently I did not supply the correct answer for Humphrey, so he accused me of having a bad attitude and walked away to only sit in his truck until management made him do his job. I even called a male neighbor, I've known for months, over to speak with Humphrey to encourage him to do his job and attempt to convince Humphrey I was not a rude person. The neighbor stayed with me for protection, his idea. This behavior of Humphrey's was simply unwarranted. I've been a real estate professional over 30 years and have never experienced such unprofessional behavior. When Mr. Humphrey FINALLY decided to do the termite treatment, I was asked prior, by manager, Kammy, to stay away from Humphrey, preferably in my vehicle, while he treated the vacant home. GMPC had already performed an inspection weeks prior with the home owner. The salesman/inspector was kind and professional same as Allie, the receptionist. Wish I could say the same for the Manager, Kammy and technician, Brad Humphrey. If time was not "of the essence", we would have happily, without hesitation, cancelled the service entirely. Beware! Something is just not right here. UPDATE: Since I wrote this review, the Owner Corey Hodnett, has not only phoned me with false accusations, i.e., I threw things, violently kicked boxes, yelled at Humphrey. HE ALSO PHONED MY HOMEOWNER AND MY BROKER/EMPLOYER, requesting they both INSIST I remove the review. They both refused. Hoping the owner's harassment and defamation comes to an immediate halt. read more

All of the technicians are very polite. They give me time to relocate my small dogs to safe areas in the house, as they work. They spray the edges of every room in the house, garage, and back yard. They will show up if I see bugs or pests and need them to come out sooner. read more

I had problems with spiders and silverfish in a new build community. I understood that awhile construction was ongoing, it would be difficult to completely eliminate them. I started with the hope that there would be a decrease in activity. Thankfully the spiders stopped. The people were nice. Prices were affordable. BUT, there was an INCREASE in silverfish. They blamed the exterior pest control provided through my HOA. I disagree. I communicated with them extensively and I saw them spray the heck of a lot externally. Yes they can't control what another company is spraying but you would think a combo of internal and external would at least see a decrease, not an increase! read more

I had Green Machine come to our house, because I saw roof rats in the back yard and on our fence. Michael came out within a day and did a full inspection inside and out. He did a great job, we hired him to put extra screening around our vents on the roof. He did the majority of it the same day. He also put bait boxes out on our fence. I have not seen another roof rat since. We liked Michael so much we cancelled our quarterly pest service with another company to start service with Green Machine. Doug now does our pest service every other month. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. Plus our dog loves to get the treat Doug leaves for him. The owner was horrible to deal with and refused to refund my money for a service that wasn't provided in an adequate time and at the end of the day served no purpose as their services did nothing to solve the rodent problem I had and the guy even confirmed that when he picked up the traps from my place and they were all empty. It also took constant follow up from myself before he talked to me finally, only to tell me that I misunderstood and that he had my name in writing on the paper, he made sure I knew that. Regardless not coming to an agreement there he wasted my time with condescending questions to compare the situation to whatever, that had no purpose or value to the conversation. Again I had to call back about this I'd say 5 times over 2-3 weeks to be able to speak to him as I sit there listening to waiting music about how they have the best customer service out there, meanwhile the owner doesn't practice what he preaches. Really didn't like that aspect of this business and feel like all the guy cared about was that I signed his document. All the other staff was friendly for sure, but I even got confirmation when they picked up the traps that none of them went off and basically I did indeed waste $250 for nothing. I am a current customer and have had many issues with communication with this company. To explain my situation, I am a renter, with the pest control agreement being under my landlord's name/number. My landlord has paid for preventative service (already completed), and corrective service (which is 3 visits) for roof rats that were seen in the attic by a contractor. First, each time I call, I try to explain how I would like my number to be updated to the primary contact number, as my landlord lives in Texas and is unable to help with scheduling matters. After requesting this THREE TIMES, my landlord continues to be the one who is contacted for scheduling. Second, work necessitates that I am gone from 7:10a-4:15p, which I explained on my initial visit. I was told that I could be scheduled for the 6:30-7:00 slot (and we even joked about how techs would prefer this, as most people don't want them there that early!), however, it appears there actually is no 6:30-7:00a slot, and that 7:00-7:30a is the earliest, with 3:30-4:00p being the latest slot offered. When it came time for my first corrective visit, my landlord (NOT ME) was notified the day before that I was scheduled for the 7:00-7:30a slot. I told my boss as soon as I found out the time slot and she told me I could come in late that morning so that I could be home for the appointment. 7:00a comes and I have not received any communication regarding the appointment. 7:15a comes and nothing, 7:20a and still nothing, so I finally call the operator and (after waiting) I am told that the ETA of the tech was not until after 7:45a-- outside of my 7:00-7:30a window. This being so, I had to reschedule my initial appointment. Today, these problems culminated in a very frustrating situation. Yesterday, my landlord (NOT ME) was *once again* notified by text message that service was scheduled for today between 7:00-7:30a, which won't work for me. I called after work yesterday and was told that I could reschedule for Saturday with a 7a-4p window-- fine by me, I happily accepted the appointment. At 6:40a this morning (Wednesday), I get a text message telling me the tech is 20-25 minutes away. I reply stating I rescheduled the appointment for Saturday. The tech replies "Sounds good, we'll see you Saturday!" Around 10:30a today, my landlord (AGAIN, NOT ME) gets a voicemail from Green Machine stating the Saturday appointment will not work because "rodent control is only done Monday-Friday," and requesting a call back to reschedule the Saturday appointment. My landlord forwards the voicemail to me, so on my 30-minute lunch break I follow their instructions and call the company back at 11:57a to reschedule. Upon explaining my situation to the person answering my call, I am told that they are unable to schedule customers, and that they will have to send a message for me to get a call back to schedule. Why tell me (or rather, my landlord) to call back to reschedule if the person answering the phone can't help me? It is very unfortunate that these miscommunication issues keep happening, because this company was chosen based off of their amazing reviews and I have yet to see evidence that proves they deserve them. We still have 2 visits left for corrective service, so I am hopeful communication improves. read more

I met Cory, the owner, And one of his techs (I forgot his name) when they stopped by my house offering a free inspection for roof rats. They claimed that my neighbors down the street were experiencing a problem with roof rats and so they wanted to make sure all of the neighbors were rat free. First thing that came to my mind was "Yeah right. These guys are just trying to market themselves." So I played the ignorant ditzy girl roll just to see if they would tried to con me. I let them in and they went to the backyard to check around the citrus trees. They thoroughly examined the fruit that dropped to the ground for evidence of being eaten by rats. Then the tech went up to the attic. He was up there for a bit then called for Cory to "come take a look at this". I dont go up there EVER so I don't know what they were looking at but they both came down and proceeded to check around the outside perimeter of the house and noticed a little screen missing from one of those little holes up towards the roof. They offered a service where they would come out and make sure any holes or potential spaces where a critter could squeeze into the house, would be sealed. I declined their offer and asked them what the conclusion of the inspection was. They said I was all good. No signs of any rat infestation. I was shocked! I knew that we didn't have a problem with rats but I wanted to test their integrity and honesty. They were just about to leave when I asked them about other services they provided. I already had a reliable and very effective pest control service subscription but I like to support my local small businesses. Because I value their honesty and integrity and Cory and his tech didn't try to sell me services that I didn't need, I cancelled my bug service and switched to Green Machine for my scorpion and bug control. Haven't seen one scorpion! After we had a couple weeks of random rain, I did notice a few creepy crawlers in my driveway SO I texted Cory and he sent out a tech the very next day to retreat at no charge. I really like EVERYONE at Green Machine. Their prices are affordable, the service and techs are very knowledgeable and courteous, and I highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Doug is the nicest guy! He just came by to do a last minute appointment that he was able to squeeze in for me. He had a big biscuit treat for my dog & treated all of my house plants while treating every perimeter of each room, gave me the best tips for things to watch out for in my home, & helped me figure out where/why/how got maggots near my sliding door (reason the for last minute emergency appointment). Green Machine is the real deal. We had a real scorpion problem when we moved into our Mesa home in the orange groves. Since Green Machine, we've had no scorpions and no problems! Recently though, we've had a lot of landscaping work done and noticed a few extra bugs around. Super impressed with the first visit where the tech spent like over an hour doing what I could call a "deep soak" around the outside of the house. Then just maintaining every couple months. If there was ever an issue with a hornets nest/infestation in a bush, rays in the attic, or maybe seeing a bug between visits, they would come and spray for free. I HOPE I CAN SAVE SOMEONE TIME AND MONEY!! I never write reviews but here I go.. I had 2 properties I wanted to get sprayed one is my home I have not had any problems at my home but these little spiders that only come out in the summer so I said why not spray both properties just in case... the other property had scorpions, roaches and black widows that I knew about... the gimmick was $5 for initial spray so I signed a contract for a year $75 per property every other month with a promise if I had any issues they would come out and spray again in between sprays if needed After the first spray aprox 4 weeks after, my other property was infested with roaches I called them and I was told I needed to wait for the spray to work he said the spray makes the insects come out and they die, so I waited another 2 weeks this other property had more roaches and spiders than before that I had ever seen there. I called again no answer emailed finally a answer he said ok well your normal spray is coming up we will just wait and come out then spray really good .. they came charged me a total of $150 ....guess what yep roaches everywhere still after me waiting after they sprayed another 3 weeks they sprayed inside and out I called no answer left message no return call emailed them that I have no response by phone finally I recvd email back the following day she put me on the schedule to come spray the gentleman came out sprayed inside and out and asked if the roaches were Asian because they would have to use a different spray for those roaches ... um like I don't know the difference ... when I went out to property besides roaches there was a nest and a live black widow in the garage. I tried texting again how unsatisfied I was with what seems like sugar water they are spraying when I get home and low and behold I see the same little spiders I've seen before in my house. Really what are they spraying with! I emailed this company again... I was aware signing this contract I would have to pay a cancellation fee per property of aprox $120 each and I have just given up on green machine I received a call from James he apologized and said he had a better spray that he could use and try to catch a roach to see what kind it was to better kill it with then hit me with "I'll give you a discount on it and it will run around $250 additionally on the already overpriced $75 I was already paying he said just don't say no right now give me an hour let me know" my answer in my head is already no I was working when he called so I responded the next day to cancel and charge me. So after dropping exactly $228 to cancel needless to say so unsatisfied customer right here. Go to amazon they sell gel that works better and is so much cheaper. read more

Cory and everyone at Green Machine are incredible. We moved into our new home just over a year ago and inherited quite a pest problem from the previous residents. Spiders and scorpions and bears oh my! (Just kidding, no bears. Definitely a large amount of wolf spiders though). I saw a coupon for their services and when I called Cory was so informative. He gave me pricing info, scheduling options, and answered my mountain of questions. He was sincerely reassuring. I was so worried with my allergies and health conditions that the chemicals would cause a flare up. Plus I was terrified something would possibly hurt my pets and neighbourhood wildlife. He completely put me at ease, explaining not just the safety of the products they use, but guaranteeing everyone would be safe. Every employee that has come to our home has been friendly, helpful, and professional. The office staff I have spoken to are super nice whenever I need to update info or reschedule. The cost is very reasonable, especially considering the excellent service and product safety. I love receiving text updates about our service schedule, so convenient. They have literally showed up rain or shine (even this week, when shine ment 108°), and had products specially for rainy days which I didn't even know existed. We have continued to use them on an every other month schedule since early last year, and our home and yard have been totally pest free since our beginning service. In all the difficulty in finding home professionals like plumbers, handymen, landscapers, etc for our new home, this is by far the best and easiest "find" we've ever had. I had an issue with them the first couple of times because after they came the first time my cricket problem got worse. They sent out Fredy and he actually knew what they hell he was doing. He checked and looked in places I never thought crickets would come in. I'm very confident those suckers won't come back because of him. Please teach the rest of your guys to be like him. Their billing practices are completely disorganized, the workmanship is spotty and their prices are ridiculous. Each time I received an invoice I paid the full amount through their customer portal. Regardless, I received a phone call the afternoon of a service requesting payment of $120 for exclusion services. Okay, I paid it that day. I figured, we're in a pandemic, the company must be hurting for money. Three weeks later I get a text message that I owe another $200 for that same service. I call. No answer. I leave a heated voicemail stating I am terminating service and have already paid for the service. I get another text instead of a phone call back. The girl was nice enough, but couldn't resolve the issue. I had to figure out for them that their payment system is garbage and it not notifying customers when they are billed. I have made 4 payments in a 2 month period and received a notice I have not made a payment in 30 days?? How much did I pay in two months? $500!! And they wanted me to wait 5 days before they could come remove a trap that went off in my attic. I had to remove it myself so my house didn't reek of decomposing rat. These guys were great! They made everything so easy, and their rates were reasonable and clearly communicated. I only get a one-time treatment once in a while, and some pest companies are rude if you're not "subscribing" monthly or quarterly. These guys didn't make me feel that way at all.
