Timely, professional and efficient install of my new mini split! Very easy to work with.

On April 17 AZ insulation showed up to put a 3.5 ton AC unit in and blow in insulation to bring my attic insulation up. I'd skip these guys. Here we are July 3 and they still haven't signed the SRP rebate form so I can get a rebate. I assume they never will. They didn't clean up after themselves. I put a drop cloth down and provided a shop vac. no telling how it would of ended up other wise. SRP had already done an audit, so I knew what I needed, but waited to tell them that until he was finished with his presentation to make sure he didn't try to upsale me. AZ Insulation charges more and does lower-quality work than its competitors. Shop around. AZ Insulation is owned by a dishonest crook. I got an energy-saving device installed by them and it was a total disaster. I was promised energy savings, not only were the promises not delivered, but working with them was extremely frustrating. In the end, the poor-quality work filled my home with mold and made me sick. The owner assured me they would address my concerns but he broke every one of his promises in the end. We spoke with Office Manager Ashley at AZ Insulation and Energy Solutions requesting a quote to install blown-in insulation into our attic as it was low. Ashley provided a fair estimate for this service and Rob came to our home on Friday to inspect our attic and we scheduled the appointment for Monday, 8/1/22. The Service Technicians called when they were enroute to our home on Monday and were finished with installing 14 inches of insulation into our attic within about an hour. I would highly recommend AZ Insulation and Energy Solutions as their service was friendly, prompt and the Technicians were very efficient and quick. To begin with, I called to request a quote and no one got back to me for several days. The first person I finally spoke to was very rude! They gave me a quote and I said I needed to talk it over with my husband first.. when I called back a day or two later to have them come do the job the quote they gave me was much higher than the original quote from a couple of days before.. The 2-man crew explained the job procedure and answered my questions before beginning work. They were attentive and gave very detailed replies and explanations. At completion of the job they explained what they saw in my attic and explained how and why insulation material application was addressed for unique areas (e.g. over back patios, around heating and air conditioning units, etc.). There was no feeling that they were in a hurry to move on. They encouraged me to mount the ladder and inspect. I did. The job was nicely done. I was expecting a more professional job than I could have done myself, and better quality materials. I did not get either. The garage door insulation was just the $68 dollar kit from lowes that was beat up and dented, and they did not even use a straight edge to make the cuts. I ended up buying another kit and replacing the panels they cut so poorly. Since they don't repair and repaint the drywall after insulating the finished walls, there was really no point in my hiring them. I've insulated several homes myself, but I thought I would hire a pro to have it done better. Learning moment for me. read more

Can't say enough good things about these guys. I had them insulate my garage. They not only do insulation but mini-split air conditioners as well. It has completely transformed my garage space. I'm more than happy with my purchase of insulation service from this company. Rob was flexible in coming out to my house. He did a quick measurement of how much insulation I currently had. There was some question about the size of my attic since there is a flat roof on part of the house. Rob used the Zillow estimate for the square footage and based my quote off of that. When I voiced my concern that it wasn't that big, he assured me that if the blow-in guys didn't need all the insulation, then they would credit me the difference. Either way, the original quote beat other blanket quotes on Craigslist by several hundred dollars, and way cheaper than going through Home Depot/Lowes. The day came and the insulation guys were right on time. They were polite and finished the job in less than 45 minutes. As they were packing up, I asked about if the attic indeed covered the entire house. We did a quick walk through and they said that it didn't where the flat roof was. They didn't realize this since they said that for some reason they still needed all of the insulation that I was quoted for and couldn't quite figure out why that was. They readily knocked off a couple hundred dollars to make up for the confusion without me having to throw a fit. The only other thing was that they didn't clean up the few leftover pieces on the ground by the attic access like Rob said they would, but this wasn't a big deal. It took me a whole 10 seconds to vacuum it up. Before the guys came out, I started off with 4 inched (R-11), but now I'm up to code. It's been a few weeks now and I've noticed a big difference in my house. My house stays cooler and the AC doesn't kick on nearly as much as it used to. I used to suffer with the house at 80-85 degrees over the summer. Now I am comfortable at 76-78 degrees for a slightly lower AC bill. It'll definitely pay itself off in the long run. I will use this same company again when I decide to insulate my rental property. read more

The owners are friendly and easy to deal with. It seems to be a small but I found it an efficient operation. They were reasonably priced, fast and efficient. As with other trades, the guys that did come out and do the work were not quite as nice, etc. (The guy in charge anyway, he was ALL business, the other two were great.) Don't rely on them if you need a job done in a timely manner. For 3 weeks this guy said he would do our large insulation job and we checked with him the week prior and he said he would meet us at the house. The day to meet came and he never showed (no call, no text, no nothing), so I text him and he finally text back saying that he quoted too cheap and couldn't make it. Never bothered to call to cancel or to let us know anything, he just wasn't going to show up. Great business practice-NOT. Now we have an RV garage that needs insulated ASAP and have to start from scratch, all the while we have tight deadlines. Dealing with this contractor is the most miserable process ever! read more
