Felt more like a "let's see what we can find and write up an estimate on some things they probably don't really need" visit on two 6 year old a/c units . And I didn't receive the recap from visit or estimate or receipt until over a month later. Good thing the extra things they identified weren't critical. Holy Moley! Missed opportunity for them. I always believe that if you do a good job and earn trust on the small things you will get the call when the big ticket items come around. Plus the guy left my recycle bin that he moved in the middle of the street in front of the house instead of the curb. I expected better based on some of the prior reviews for this company.

We recently had another HVAC company come out because our AC stopped working. After running their…read morediagnostics, they told us we needed to replace our entire system--including the air handler, condenser, and even add another air return. To make matters worse, they said they couldn't turn the system back on and that we might have to wait until Monday for a full system replacement. This all happened on the Wednesday before the Fourth of July, with temperatures well into the triple digits. We have five kids and two dogs, and the thought of going several days without air conditioning was overwhelming. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion and called Airtime Cooling & Heating. Jacob came out, started his own evaluation without us telling him what the first company had diagnosed, and quickly impressed us. He simply turned the system back on, ran his own diagnostics, and gave us his honest opinion. His conclusion was completely different--our system did not need to be replaced. Not only did he get our AC running again, but he also took the time to explain what he believed had happened, what to watch for if it occurred again, and even walked us through how to troubleshoot it ourselves. That kind of honesty, education, and customer service is incredibly rare. Instead of facing what could have been a very expensive and unnecessary replacement, we paid for a diagnostic visit, got our AC back, and gained confidence in our system. Because of this experience, we've switched from our previous HVAC company to Airtime Cooling & Heating for all of our future maintenance and service. If Jacob is any indication of the quality of their technicians, they have earned a customer for life. Jacob was truly a 10 out of 10. He saved us from an unnecessary replacement, restored our AC when we needed it most, and treated us with honesty and respect. I can't recommend Airtime Cooling & Heating highly enough.

I went onto Yelp to see if I could find contact information for a company I had used five years before when I owned a house only to find they had been taken over by another company I didn't know. Long story short I put AC repair into Yelp search not expecting to be able to submit a request to several companies for quotes. I was resigned to getting a response in the morning until lo and behold my phone rang with caller ID showing Ideal Air Conditioning. It was 9pm. I couldn't believe it! And it was an actual person on the line when I picked up. I can't remember her name but she was empathetic and helpful. Before I knew it she had scheduled a service person to come in the morning between 8 and noon. What a relief! The service person got to my condo around 9:30 just before I had to head to work so I left my credit card info with her and entrusted my roommate to oversee the repairs. By 11am I got a call at work informing me that the AC was up and running again with the repair costing me just over $1500, which included a $300 service plan that I thought made sense and was a good idea for continued maintenance. The promptness of Ideal's response, their ability to get a service person out to see me almost immediately and how quickly they got the AC up and running has made me a fan for life.
