I wanted to write this a few months ago but got side tracked. So sorry for the delay. I would give them a 6 star if it was possible. I purchased an AC unit from Valleywide Cooling back in July 2025 for a rental. Decided to go with them after calling around and got a bad taste in my mouth with other companies. Margret (the office lady) was wonderful. She is very friendly, patient, understanding and clear. Her follow up with details was beyond expected. Jimmy the tech was very patient in explaining to me what is being done. And very patient and nice with my many many calls and questions. He constantly kept me in loop with updates. And was very genuine with his knowledge and didn't try to upsale. And they were very good with a free follow up appt 5 months later to make sure the heating part was working correctly. They took alot of stress off my overwhelming task of an AC replacement. I highly recommend them. read more

We bought a park model mobile home. The cooling season was just starting. I noticed that our A/C was running almost continuously. I called Vallywide to have it looked at. They scheduled a tech for later the same day. This is where it gets impressive. They sent me an estimated time of arrival and a photo of the tech coming to look at the system. Pete called 30 minutes before arrival and showed up within the estimated time frame. After looking the unit over he said it was working fine, but cleaned the coils with a hose. He said that would improve efficiancy. Pete also suggested that we keep the blinds closed on a window nearest the thermostat so the sun wouldn't heat the wall and give a false reading. He programed our thermostat to be warmer during the day and cooler in the evening. Now the air doesn't run continuously. I would recommend Vallywide Cooling to anyonw with a cooling concern. read more

My thermostat went out on me last week and with 110* temps predicted and with several dogs needing to have to be cared for I was needing it fixed. I was scheduled to go to work that morning but called Margaret at Valleywide. She said she would get someone out right away to get this problem taken care of....and within an hour Jose was at my door. He had my thermostat replaced and I was up and running. Jose was so professional and knowledgable. I have used Valleywide for several years and have never been disappointed..so professional and knowledgeable from start to finish with fair pricing. What a great experience with Derrick. I heard strange noises, like whistling, in the air handler for my heater. He didn't think there was anything wrong, but he went through it stage by stage. We could still hear the noise even though everything checked out okay. He wouldn't give up and discovered that the filter was installed (by me) "just a little off." Couple of taps and the noise went away. Didn't really need to be a trained tech to solve my problem, he just needed to be persistent - and I appreciate it! read more

I don't like having to write this, I'm a passive person and I'm very fond of Margaret and she tried her best to help me. I had a AC unit installed almost 2 months ago and I kept hoping they would do right by me. They did a very bad job of installing the AC and the crappy work done. I don't know if the staff is incompetent and just don't care about the quality of the work done. I think it's both. They put bricks underneath the AC unit and they happened to be bricks from my backyard. I know the AC needs to be on a concrete condenser pad and it's necessary to keep the unit from sinking. My sister brought this up when it was being installed and they said it wasn't necessary. I called several times and went to the office to say how unhappy I was with the crappy work done. I was ignored (not by Margaret) and told it's ok and I know it's not. They think we are stupid senior citizens and one of us is a veteran and we should accept the bad quality work done. I walked around my neighborhood and I did not see one AC unit with bricks underneath. I wish I can afford to hire another company to fix the mess they did installing the AC but I'm all tapped out financially paying for this mess for the next 3 years. Josh (owner) Margret did a great job of connecting with us giving your company another opportunity. Unfortunately your service manager ( Richard, I believe), proceeded to make matters worse. Tipping point: telling a customer they are unprofessional for leaving a bad review. Different results: we have had 3 service calls with our home Warrenty. The 1st 2 went the same, company came out, found out what was covered and not covered. Then they give me a proposal on spot, once I accept they do the work. There is no excuse for a member of your management staff to call a customer "unprofessional " for simply leaving a bad review. Especially when we were willing to move forward and accept the original proposal minus a trip charge. read more

I don't leave a lot of reviews on Yelp. But, Valleywide was so above and beyond any expectations that I had to. It's been a ride and they've been amazing So TL:DR you can trust them and they have good people and care about you. If you want to read on I encourage you to do so. 3-4 weeks ago A/C goes out during that 4 day stretch of 120 degrees. I called 7-8 answering services at 3 am when I realized it was not just an old unit struggling but a major issue. First company returned my call at 7ish. Can't fit me in until Tuesday (it's Friday). Second company to return my call, Valleywide. First gentleman who showed up diagnosed the issue quickly and made sure to get Jimmy out that day to take a second look. Despite the fact the part that needed replacing is obsolete, they tried to find the part and were unable to do so. Jimmy shows up around 4. House is now 93 degrees. Takes a second look and unfortunately I need a new unit and condenser. I'm expecting the worst. Whatever the estimate is I'm going to say yes and he knows it. I'm expecting 10-12k. Jimmy says he can get me a unit that was reserved for another install next week but it can wait because they need more than one unit anyways and redirects that last unit to me. Oh and it's significantly less than I anticipated to pay. Couple days later Freddie and his team, including his son, show up exactly when they said they would. Freddie is one of the nicest guys I've met. His team gets to work, gives me an estimate of when they'll be done (had plans with my kids that were time sensitive). They go to work uninstalling a very old unit, piece by piece literally ripping metal apart because the rivets weren't easily removable. We get close to the ETA he had given me and they were behind. Instead of having to adjust plans to have someone else pick up my kids, he calls in reinforcements and they get the job done in time. Fast forward a few weeks. I call at 6:30 am and talk to the gal, live person, to schedule my follow up appointment for next Wednesday. Same day, I notice some moisture when I come home from work and near where I think the unit is in the attic. I call in to the office at 5:30pm and the amazing lady (same one I'd spoken to 11 hours earlier) who must work 70 hours a week answers the phone. I tell her the issue and she says we'll get someone out there tomorrow. 20 minutes later I get a call and she says no chance we're letting that go. We'll get someone out tonight. An hour later, there's a truck in my driveway and Freddie and his supervisor are there because that was their job originally and in their words, if there's moisture we're not waiting until tomorrow. They went into the attic and literally swam through blown in insulation to find a leak caused, most likely by the recent humidity and a new more efficient unit, 15 feet away from the work they'd done. Fixed the leak in the pvc. And when I reached for my wallet to pay them a service fee or parts and labor fee or after hours fee. They refused. Despite the fact that they had nothing to do with the leak. And gave me advice on cleaning up the residual moisture and assured me there wouldn't be additional issues and we got it in time. I asked for a way to reach out to their boss/president/ceo because every single person I worked with was amazing. I was refused and they said just leave a Yelp review. I wish I could do more but I hope the folks at Valleywide know how great their staff is and how happy I am they were the second group of professionals to respond when I was in need. read more

Michael from Valleywide Cooling, you are my hero! Our AC went out today and the temps were 114 degrees +. The house temperature quickly got miserable. It was 5:45pm and I started calling repair companies. Three told me they were booked solid for 24hrs. Two told me they would charge an extra $119+ for an after hours fee. Valleywide said they'd have someone there within 2 hours and no extra after hours fee. Within 10 min Michael called and arrived 20 min later. He was quick, thorough, friendly and professional. He hopped on the roof, identified the fuse issue and quickly repaired it. The price was fair and he stuck around to ensure the house cooled down property. We had a warranty claim and valleywide was the company that came out. We have 2 units, the new one, which has no problems, suddenly stopped working as soon as the technician left... well you can see how this looks and I became a very difficult person to deal with over the phone when I noticed this and my house was at 87 degrees after a long day at work. Everyone at valleywide was very responsive and, even when I did not deserve it, very nice. They are professional and kind. The technician called us and helped me troubleshoot the issue. While this starts out sound like a bad review, it is actually a very good one! We boughT a new A/C from Valleywide almost two years ago. It blew a capacitor at three month. Fortunately, that was covered under the manufacturer warranty. Then the unit went out again this past weekend. I was upset because we had been told the warranty was expired. i have always spoken with Margaret at Valleywide. She has been FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! She sent out Steve, the technician yesterday to check the system. He was the BEST technician we've ever had!!!!!!! He told us about a three year maintenance plan Valleywide offers, which we immediately signed up for. He also told us that, while all other manufacturers install a Stronger, much more energy efficient capacitor, our manufacturer does not. He put in the better capacitor and our unit now runs great! I would definitely recommend Valleywide and talk with Margaret when you call. read more

Wow wow wow!! I am rarely super impressed but I have to rave about this company. It's July and 115 degrees and our downstairs AC stopped working on a Saturday night. I called Valleywide Cooling at 7am on Sunday and chatted with Margaret who was very friendly and helpful. I was shocked when she said she could have a tech out within 2-3 hours... on a Sunday... with no outrageous weekend charge. Jimmy was at our house by 9:45am and replaced our capacitor quickly and it was up and running again. He was very friendly and super efficient. The biggest plus was that we have a 10 year warranty on parts through the unit manufacturer. My husband showed Jimmy the paperwork for that and without hesitation, he took the part charge off our bill and they deal with the manufacturer on that. So we paid for the trip charge and labor. Our older AC system would not heat. We were advised by a Western States technician that the problem was a faulty TXV valve. The repair would cost $3,200 because the entire system would need to be disassembled and rebuilt, to include draining and refilling the expensive coolant fluid. He offered to give us a special deal and sell us an $11,000 replacement system for only $8,000. We told him we would think about his recommendations. Later that day, Jim from Valleywide came to our assistance. Jim found the problem was a defective capacitor and broken air handler motor that was still under warranty. Jim ordered the needed motor and replaced it. We paid only for his labor and service call as the motor was under warrantee. We cancelled our service contract with Western States. read more

They figured out the issue and fixed it pretty quickly. The first tech was not able to pin point the issue so they sent out a service manager the next day at no extra cost. It ended up being my nest thermostat and they were knowledgeable to make the necessary fix. I am grateful for how quickly they were able to get out! read more

I'm very pleased with the company , this is my 1st experience with this company. He {the Technician} was within the time promised to arrive, he called when he was on his way, he spent ample time here, he never seemed rushed, and he answered all my questions. We had been without air conditioning for 10+ days while waiting for our home warranty to respond to our claim. Valleywide was given the claim, and even though our warranty did not cover a new unit, we stayed with Valleywide because of their top quality customer service. Zach and Andrew arrived early and had our old unit removed, recycled, and new unit installed and running in under six hours. They were both extremely professional and possibly the two kindest contracted workers we have ever had work in our home. Our AC stopped working at 10 pm last night and we were worried as we have a 1 year old whose teething. But with the help of Margaret who was so friendly and accommodating, she assured us a tech would be there asap and not to worry. The guys from Valleywide Cooling, Pete and David, were professional and exceptional in getting my heat pump back working. They went above and beyond what I could have ever expected. Margaret, in the office, was fantastic always keeping us informed on who was coming and when they would arrive. Pete and David both wore masks and booties while in the house and always responded to every question I had. If you need service, call Valleywide Cooling, Period! My last guy, who I thought was a friend, put it to me for 10 years by marking up the cost of parts by 100%-500%, did poor work and his guy he sent out did not fix the problem and charged me over $300 to install a $25.00 part that only took him a few minutes. Then they wanted to charge over $500 to install a $121.00 fan motor. No thanks! Pete from Valleywide diagnosed the problem immediately and told me how much it would cost and stuck to it even when more work was needed to fix all the stuff the old guy did wrong. AC and Heat pump service is not cheap so you need to choose people you can trust not to replace something that is still good. I was in the market for a new heat pump. I had talked to a friend about putting a new unit on. I decided to get another estimate so Valleywide came out and gave me their opinion on my unit. Although my unit was still running well and I was not having any issues I was told my unit was 17 years old and just be aware anything could happen. After talking to Mike I chose to put a new unit on rather than worry about it failing in the heat of summer. 17 years is a old unit. Wow they put a new unit on the very next day less than 4 hours start to finish and even cleaned up every thing that was laying around. They took pictures of the unit and showed me how well it was done and looked. I am more than pleased. The men that installed the unite were awesome and so pleasant. Professional and very informative. Being a widow you have to watch and take care of things yourself. Margarett was awesome at calling and making sure I'm ok or need anything. They came back about a week later took pictures again looked at and tested the air flow and temperature and everything was great. The inspection supervisor was very nice and visited with me a few minutes making sure I knew how to use my new digital thermostat. Made sure I had phone numbers so if I needed anything I could call. Then Mary calls again to make sure I'm happy and the United is running ok for me. I had complete confidence in this company from the moment I hung up the phone. I really appreciated that they didn't put any selling pressure on me to buy the unit right now. Quality work. Great employees all the way around and so reliable and dependable. Highly recommend this company for your heating and cooling needs. Oh and by the way my unit is using much less energy than the old one and the uni usage has really dropped. So Happy with that. My home warranty company had scheduled Valleywide to do maintenance on my AC unit. During the process I decided to instead buy a new AC altogether (bye bye AHS). From scheduling, sales and interacting with all the technicians I was treated as if I were their friend. There was an issue with the panels on my new unit (I live in a Mobile Home) and without any hassles the panels were replaced as quickly as could be. Also, during this pandemic everyone had the utmost respect for my well being and wore face masks when in my presence. Excellent professional service. Great communication and responsiveness - on time. We had extensive HVAC maintenance completed and purchased, and had installed, a REME Halo air purification system (see YouTube for complete info on this system) and there is an immediate noticeable improvement in air quality. Dust in the Valley has caused consistent sinus problems - but breathing easier is a pleasure. Pete, our main tech was a personable and professional pro who was great to work with. David & Mike were the team that cleaned all of the air ducts in our home and it was throughly done and exceptionally clean of debris when they finished. We are soooooo happy with Valleywide. I especially appreciate Pete taking pictures of the work in our attic - which showed "before" pictures (a really slap dash job by the company we used before) and "after" pictures when Pete organized everything. It's really reassuring to know what's going on when it's not something we are able to see up in the attic (we are old and not climbing up there). My AC went out on Labor Day, a holiday! Valleywide Cooling was there to save the day. It was 98* inside my condo, I thought my dogs were going to have a heat stroke. I was very impressed with professionalism and expertise of AC mechanic Humberto. He worked on my AC unit for 3 hours, which was located on the roof of a 3 story building.
