Pretty on the outside with expert flower, arrangements and cute tables, but the food was average at best. We waited a long time to be served with menus and food, often being forced to even find our waiter inside to get his attention. The food was also, at times, bewildering (if I can even use such an adjective). For example, I ordered the Mediterranean salad - served with grilled carrots, broccoli, zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, red peppers, melted fresh Mozzarella, grape leaves with whole wheat pita. The dish was served hot and it felt like a bunch of random vegetables were quickly sautéed and covered in cheese. It was the only time in recent memory when I had to actually send the dish back because I couldn't eat it due to the taste. The other food was OK including the fried eggplant but still not up to par. The good news is that this place is often popular and has a lot of customers in the local neighborhood. I have been craving a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and that is exactly what I got here. It really hit the spot. The Buffalo Chicken had just the right kick to it and the fries portion was very generous (I couldn't finish all of it). I came with a group of 11 other girls. We had a reservation at 12 pm but weren't seated until 12:15 pm. The staff was very nice and accommodating considering how busy it was on a Saturday. When I spent $20 on pancakes here, I didn't expect to actually get $20 worth of pancakes, but I totally did! They brought me out a three-stack loaded with fresh fruit, nutella, and powdered sugar. Oh my word, what a meal! It took me three days to get through it all! The ambience is fabulous as well. My dogs and I sat outside and there were gorgeous flowers all along the exterior. I love the special Green kitchen restaurant grilled cheese in particular! That is my go to dinner! Excellent service as well.

We only stopped by for drinks and a snack, so can't speak to the regular menu items. The drinks were both tasty (we got passion 84 and passion mojito) and reasonably priced (one of them even had GK written on top of the foam of the drink!). We got chicken bites as a snack, which came with ranch, bbq sauce, and honey mustard sauces. It was a good amount of chicken for the price and the pieces were small bite-sized pieces. Staff was really nice and attentive as well, and there was plenty of space both inside and outside for seating. They do get busy sometimes, but were less so on a weekday evening around 6pm. Food and drinks came out very quickly and we were in and out within an hour, though it seemed totally fine to sit around for much longer. I felt like eating outside and happened upon the very cute Green Kitchen for breakfast today. The staff was very sweet and promptly sat me outside at whatever table I chose. I sat for about 10 minutes before my order was taken. I ended up getting the cappuccino and eggs Benedict. After about another 15 minutes it all came out at once (I prefer to have my drink before hand, but it wasn't a huge deal). The cap was very good and they served it with a rock sugar stick. So cute. My only complaint about the eggs Benedict was there was not enough hollandaise for me, but it was still good at the chives were a lovely touch. Decided to stop by this place after seeing the beautiful outdoor decor and ambience. Unfortunately the experience felt a bit underwhelming compared to other places in the neighborhood. The best thing I had here was the iced latte. It was made very well, with high quality coffee. Other than that my cheese omelette and potatoes were average and under seasoned. Also our server wasn't great. She forgot my toast and barely came to check in on our table. Overall, this place is okay but I won't be coming back here. We started out intending to rotate between different places, but this one was consistently better than the competitors, so it's a rare Wednesday morning we aren't there. We ordered in from one of our favorite go to places a couple of days ago, their juicy and large bison burger with fries. They came perfectly cooked as we requested with a ton of crispy fries. Green Kitchen is the best diner in the neighborhood! This is my go-to diner for brunch. On the weekend this place gets packed for brunch, however, they turn around tables very quickly. They have a decent happy hour menu and their usual menu is humongous. Seems to be a mix of American and Mediterranean food. I had the chicken Cesar and a spicy rigatoni, both of which were great. Some of the other dishes the group got were the shrimp scampi linguini, chicken kebabs, and turkey burger. The only dish I heard any issues with were the chicken kebabs, which my friend said had really large vegetable chunks in it.
