This Italian American cocktail lounge in LIC is hidden behind a discreet door to the right of Greats of Craft. Named after the owner's Italian grandfather, this cocktail bar feels like a Sicilian speakeasy from another era with green velvet banquettes and nostalgic Italian postcards on the walls. The cocktail menu features imported Italian gins and spritzes. The bosco d'inverno was aromatic and warm with white rum, cinnamon, and chocolate bitters. Their tiramisu is to die for with a dreamy blend of espresso mascarpone cream and cocoa dusted sponge cake. Molto buono!

New speakeasy (less than a year old) in LIC that has recently opened on Sundays for regular bar service. (They also have a Sunday Sauce dinner series the last Sunday of the month that sells out.) Our server/bartender Gio is wonderful! So helpful and nice. We didn't have any of the snack foods, we only came for the cocktails and ambiance while in the area. Lovely space with great air conditioning on a hot day. There is bar seating and chairs/sofa benches. We (party of 2) had a really tough time deciding which cocktails to order, so we did ask Gio a lot of questions. We decided to go with the Sprezzatura and the L'Arancia (made with house-made orange-cello). Both were very delicious and not too sweet. We each want to come back for cocktails and also for the Sunday Sauce dinner!

Cocktails are great, and well priced. I love the intimate space. We didn't have a reservation, and initially sat by the window area facing Greats of Craft. Then we moved to the bar, which is definitely the vibe! We enjoyed the etna, and the new yorkese (which was very alcohol forward). Will definitely be coming back!

Stumbled upon this bar and was pleasantly surprised. It's a speakeasy with a lot of history. Very intimate and private which is great. Drinks were delicious. A great bar to meet up with someone and catch up.

I love all the cocktails and atmosphere here, bartenders are great, sophisticated, and cosmically in tune. Best place.

This past Sunday while grabbing a drink and a bite to eat at The Greats of Craft LIC we were invited to stop by a new speakeasy called Bar Enzo afterwards and I'm so glad we did! Cozy and extremely well appointed the space is perfect for a couple or small group but also ideal for a solo drink bellied up to the bar. The knowledgeable, polite staff will answer all your questions about their unique cocktails as well as the concept behind Enzo and its upcoming special events. I'm looking forward to many more Bar Enzo moments.

Came back for their soft opening and they clearly care about fostering a community. The bar featured platters of fresh figs from the Enzo family garden, and tasty cannolis. We already have plans to bring all of our visiting friends here!

Amazingggg !!! I loved the drinks !! The ambiance is good and love the vibe. We ordered Uvatti and pornstar martini and the drinks was balanced not overly sweeeettt and a delicate touch

Unfortunately, there was none of that on a Friday night. It also wasn't busy at all. The music was very loud, the space was extremely dark, and the overall vibe didn't match the hype. I ordered appetizers and entrées, but everything came out at the same time. The timing definitely needs improvement--by the time I got to my entrée, it was cold, and I felt rushed trying to eat everything at once. The drinks were good, and most of the food was good as well, but I would skip the lamb chops--they were dry and lacked flavor. Overall, some potential here, but the experience fell short of expectations.

The space was…read morebuzzing without feeling overcrowded, the music was right, and the energy felt fun, social, and lively. It's the kind of place that works for a night out with friends, a date, or even a small celebration. What really stood out was the presentation. Every dish and drink was brought out with intention and creativity. You can tell they care about how the experience feels, not just how the food tastes. It made the night feel elevated without being pretentious, which a lot of reviews online also point out. Food-wise, everything delivered. The jerk chicken egg rolls were a standout. They were actually real egg rolls, crispy and well-structured, not soggy or overstuffed like you get at places that try too hard and miss the mark. They had a nice kick of heat but were still balanced and enjoyable. We also had the guacamole with shrimp, which was lightly fried and really well done. The shrimp added great texture and flavor without overpowering the guac. The sea bass came out whole, which was impressive on its own, but we asked if it could be cut in half so we could share and the staff handled it perfectly. It was cooked beautifully and ended up being one of the highlights of the meal. Presentation again was spot on, and it tasted just as good as it looked. Drinks were solid across the board. Based on both my experience and what others have mentioned in reviews, I'd recommend sticking to the cocktails as they're listed on the menu. They're clearly well thought out and balanced. Trying to modify or reinvent them doesn't really add anything, since the menu drinks already do what they're supposed to do. Overall, The Newsroom lives up to the hype it gets online. Great vibes, creative presentation, strong food execution, and a cocktail menu that works best when you trust it. Definitely a spot worth returning to, especially on a weekend night when the energy is high.

The ambiance nice, cozy, and intimate The drinks are worth every penny The music was not too loud and I went on a night (Thursday) that I knew alllll the music and could sing along And service was on point. Two things you should know before going. The first they are a stickler on punctuality. You need to be on time for your reservation if not you will lose it. In addition they will send you about 5 reminders leading up to your visit. The last one being 30 minutes before your arrival. In addtion you only have 90 minutes at a table . And when the 90 minutes over.... its over, however you are welcome to stand. The second thing, this is not a let's get lit hookah kind of spot. Very GROWN and mature. You sing along with the people next to you ...you vibe. This is great for a person who wants a nice lounge vibe, great drinks, great music, and mellow crowd. It goes without saying....I WILL BE BACK!!!!!
