I really wanted to love this spot. I love salads and was excited to try a new salad place as so few places do salad well. Sadly, this place is added to the list of not done well. I'm only giving stars for the friendliness of the staff member who assisted me. She was great. Welcoming, helpful, friendly and prompt with service. That's where the positives end. The salad was watery/wet. The bacon was nothing but cold bits of fat from a package. And this is considered a premium ingredient that costs way more than it's worth. The dressing was super watery and only added to the already wet salad to make it a very mushy and unpleasant experience. The diced cucumbers were mushy/wet. Everything felt like it came pre-packaged, overly processed and dumped into a salad. Not like it was freshly made/prepared in house. Which is what I think of when I think of a place that makes salads "fresh". I kept getting grainy things when I'd chew like bits of dirt or something. I had nothing added to my salad that was grainy in any way. For a place that specializes in salad I'd expect ingredients to be fresh and for it to eat like a freshly made salad with top notch ingredients - especially at the price point they charge (mine was nearly $16). I've had fresher salads from fast food places that were much cheaper. So disappointing. read more

There ought to be more quick healthy food options out there, but they are just hard to find! I did find one - green District in Blue Ash. I loved my Kale Storm salad - really loved it, and my daughter had a build-your-own salad that she loved too. The veggies were so fresh, with lots of variety (chick peas, asparagus, carrots, pepitas) and the dressing was great too -- mine was Caesar and I don't know what my daughter had because I was too busy devouring my delicious salad! I especially appreciated the very attentive employee who asked us if this was our first time at Green District (yes!) and walked us briefly and helpfully through the menu. She gave us plenty of time to review our options before taking our orders, preparing our salads and bringing them to our table. She was so pleasant! Okay, I'm not a veggie kind or guy but the 'Steaking Care of Business' in the jalapeño cheddar wrap with the side of green dream was incredibly tasty. The lovely Mrs got the'What About Cobb' and she loved it as well. Everything is fresh, made daily and nothing gets kept for more than two days? I like the fact they put everything g in a bowl, then toss in wooden chopping block and slice and dice, then place it all back in the bowl/wrap so it's all mixed up for you taste buds pleasure,. Their grand opening is on Tuesday August 30th at 1030a so go check them out soon. Daily hours are same as the Cincinnati store, Monday thru Saturday 10a-5p. Closed on Sundays. What a crowd at opening day! My friend and I were lucky to grab a salad and a spot to sit with the line, and I opted for a build your own while she got the Beet Davidson. A+ dressings (lemon tahini for her, cilantro lime for me), and a good selection in general besides the trendy names. I was a bit confused/disappointed on what was included for the build your own salad--got charged for 3 of my toppings when the menu stated that 4 came included. The last time I came here they were closed when they should have been open. I brung it up to the GM and she basically told me I wasn't the telling the truth. Since I make tik toks for fun I actually had proof that they were not open when they should have been. It was disappointing to have traveled that far for them to not be open and then to be told they were open with guest inside was simply not true. DELICIOUS! I experienced Green District for the first time on Saturday. I did the Fall Guy Salad and then created my own salad throwing in some salmon for my protein. The variety of tasty dressings are awesome. I do not have anything negative to say about the quality of the food. I guess the only downside is you have to pay a $6.95 delivery fee if you can't pick it up yourself. I know a lot of places have none, or a range of $1 to $5 dollars. When I pay the delivery fee and add on a 3-5 dollar tip it is the price for another possible meal. My advice is to either eat at restaurant or order online and pick it up yourself. Otherwise, love the freshness, quality and options! read more

I've been working in Blue Ash for 3 years and this is the first time I've had this and its 5 min from my job. Let me say love the choices they have salads wraps bowls. I chose to get the bowl which had Romaine shrimp wild rice a mango salsa Tortilla chips black beans. And then the cilantro lime dressing. Omg this was the best salad I've had in so long. You get a huge portion. I was so glad I hadn't eaten breakfast lol. But I really suggest if you're in Blue Ash anytime stop there for lunch or dinner. You will not regret it. Oh yum!! I ordered a "build your own" salad for pick up using the online site - loved being able to add anything I wanted and extra. (Haven't been able to do that since salad bars went away!) They offer "extra fine chop" which I love - it let's you get all the goodies in every bite. My order was correct, the ingredients were fresh, the taste was delicious and I thought the serving size was great - I felt I got my money's worth. I got the lemon tahini dressing on the side - great flavor. Wish they had french dressing which is my favorite but that won't stop me from getting this exact salad again and just using my own dressing when I want that. Very fresh and filling. read more

If you love a gourmet salad with all the fixings, this place has THE BEST dressings with so many to choose from!!! The only thing I wish they would add is steak/beef as a protein-option, and also for the grain bowls, a quinoa grain option (and other healthier heritage-type whole grains) as an alternative to rice.
